I’d always hoped this game had a boss fight with the Sheriff of Nottingham at the end. Still a cool game, with great music. I like how it has the bending notes and tremolo effect that I think I only ever heard in Codemaster games.
I beat this game when child playing in console. Once I died in the last room distracted by the stairs going to the princess , btw I enjoyed the highscores music
What do you mean by 'they didn't put out anything that was good in NES era'? I think Codemasters games such as this one were actually the highlights of the system, and ironically so, as they weren't even officiall games.
can't agree more on that. Dizzy was too confusing, linus spacehead was too hard, and boomerang kid was boring... When i owned this as a kid, my cartdridge was faulty and only super robin hood would play, i'm glad it acted that way now xD
Or maybe I did have a poor childhood. I certainly wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth. And enjoyed the fuck out of all these unlicensed Codemasters mayhaps, so I didn't care.

SamVision There's a reason he hasn't done this one, because it's not a bad game it's hard but not impossible to beat just takes some patience. There are games on the NES that get loads of praise but are shitty in comparison to this.

It's kinda cheesy when Robin has that goofy smile to the player lol, otherwise a challenging and interesting platformer.

The music sounds like it's from a Commodore 64 game, the irony is that the C64 version of this game had no music.
