@@furchtbar8311 Personally I agree with you. For Muslims, the word 'haram' or 'halal' needs to be used very carefully. One can not forbid or allow a thing based on hearsay. Only what Allah has specifically commanded. If smoking makes one intoxicated, and one loses his judgement between right/wrong or good/bad, I would include it among forbidden consumption in Islam. In my view, smoking tobacco may not be healthy, but then neither is chewing tobacco (Naswar) or caffeinated drinks (Tea, Coffee & Coca-Cola). Will we consider them as 'haram'....I don't think so.

Shisha has a very bad effect on our health, Drug is used in shisha, and you don't take a side of shisha, Cigarette and Naswar are also forbidden, tea and coffee are different from shisha and Tea and Coffee does not have a bad effect on the health, In Coca-cola 5% Alcohol present in it and if you are Muslim don't drink coca-cola because Alcohol in it and Alcohol is Haraam in Islam.
