when you said your anxiety is too high to deliver anywhere other then a hospital, i couldn’t have agreed with you more! i just had my first baby three weeks ago and i reminded myself the entire labor and delivery that i am where i need to be if anything were to steer in the wrong direction with my baby or myself. my nurses and delivery doctor were the most amazing team of people i ever met and i don’t think ill ever stop bragging about how amazing they were and how blessed i was. please know you are not alone! anxiety surrounding all things pregnancy and labor/delivery is so normal but God is giving you what he knows you are capable of handling! you hear horror stories and it’s easy to let that take total control over us but i can reassure you it can be nothing but absolutely beautiful and one of the best things you will ever experience 💕 i pray you continue to have an amazing rest of your pregnancy!
I’ve been married 26yrs and raised 3 sons. The best advice I can offer is stay in a mad love affair with your husband, and make sure your kids see him adoring you. Life is full of ups and downs, so try to enjoy the ride. 😅❤
I've always had irregular periods as well and it would range from 24 days to 35 days. Like, over a week. It's the reason I choose abstinence. I don't want to even try until I get married. I'm so happy for you and Zak! You're going to be such great parents!
I've had 7 pregnancies (last two were losses), never really had morning sickness, not even with our twins. Only two things made me queasy with every pregnancy, the smell of meatloaf, which I can't make my family when I'm pregnant, or MSG in Chinese food. Actually we found out I was pregnant the 3rd time by how I felt after eating Chinese food the day before my period was even due. Our 5th pregnancy my husband knew I was pregnant before I could even test. He walked in to my getting teary-eyed over a country music video and casually asked, "When are we due?" He was right. 😂😂
I was diagnosed with post partum anxiety with my first, and was very anxious during my first pregnancy. 💕 don’t fret it’s completely normal, it’s the maternal gene kickstartting ❤️
I was in your same shoes with 'trying to concieve' since I also have PCOS & was diagnosed as a late teen due to my cycle not being regular at all.. as I got a little older my cycle stopped all together so there was no way for me to really know if I was pregnant unless I took a test so with BOTH of my 2 children (who are 5 years apart with no birth control methods ever used) the only reason I ever found out I was expecting was due to my family telling me they thought I was probably pregnant as they thought I gained a little weight. My son born in 2016 (my first child) I was about 2 months along when I found out, but my daughter (my second, born in 2021) I didn't find out until I was 20 weeks & it was a big shock! Congratulations Clancy & Zack. ❤
I experienced a lot of anxiety during pregnancy and postpartum. Mistakenly, I thought the anxiety would go away after he was born - nope. It was worse. My recommendation: find a therapist early to help with intrusive thoughts and anxiousness. It helped me tremendously. Regardless, I can’t wait to see all the happy moments to come for you and Zach. It truly is magical.
So happy for the both of you! 🎉 I’m so happy to see you on this journey, and as a PCOS sister myself, you and Zack have given my fiancè and I hope. 🤍 Many blessings for the both of you!
So happy for you and thank you for all your amazing videos, the good and bad, it’s nice to see how far you’ve come! Been a subscriber for 7+ hrs now and I even remember the day I saw a first video from you! So much has happened since then👋
Clancy! I am here from your pregnancy announcement video, but commenting here in case you have a higher chance of seeing it! When you mentioned your husband's mystery health/pain stuff, it made me think of what I've been going tbrough. Please have him look into mind body syndrome! The more mysterious the pain, the more likely it is due to overactive neural pain pathways in the brain that CAN be reversed! The book Unlearn Your Pain by Howard Schubiner has been a lifesaver for me. I am almost pain free after 9+ years of random symptoms! I hope you see this, and congrats on your little one! ❤
You'd mentioned you were on medication for PCOS and I know SO many women with PCOS that got pregnant relatively quickly after going on Metformin. So the pregnancy announcement had me thinking, 'ahhhh, another Metformin success story!' I also assumed Metformin because my husband was put on it when he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and he stopped taking it because of the horrific stomach cramps. His doctor allowed him to try diet control for a couple of months and if his numbers were good, he wouldn't have to go back on Metformin. So yeah, what I knew of PCOS/Metformin side effects, I assumed that you'd started ovulating and didn't know yet because no period to let you know that things would become somewhat normal, cycle wise. Best possible outcome, IMO.
Following you on your journey is so heartwarming for me, mother of two adult sons. I would call my sister and ask for advice (My sister-a fantastic mother who had 4 kids years before I had my first) and she would listen. Then she would say "I can't remember what I did, as I was so sleep deprived! What have you been doing? Or, what do you think you want to do/change? Then she might say, after I answered, What you are doing sounds just great.." She was smart enough to know that I just needed to talk. No one really knows what they are doing! You and Zach will do great. You both are responsible and loving and both have loving parents. Love, from a Mother and Grandmother (born and raised til I was 17 in the Buckeye state-Cincinnati area)!
SUPER early in my first trimester with my daughter I went to an islanders rangers game. I will never forget the smell of beer surrounding me. It’s a miracle I didn’t throw up everywhere. The heightened smell was intense!
But how do you know you weren’t ovulating? It still seems like you guys just assumed you couldn’t get pregnant based on some diagnosis’ that can make it hard to conceive… no hate and I’m so happy for you guys! Buuuuut I still don’t understand why you guys were so convinced you couldn’t conceive haha!
Just so you know, after you give birth, while you are nursing and when you stop nursing, are times you are the most fertile. The reason is when your body is getting back to cycles during those times, it tends to do crazy things like releasing multiple eggs, ovulating twice a month, etc. You also have the greatest chance of fraternal multiples during those times. So just be aware whether you want back to back babies, or if you don't. We knew this, but chose to not prevent another pregnancy and conceived twins right away, having 3 babies boys in just 11 months lol. 😂😂
The smell thing! I remember I could smell if anyone in any room had anything garlic in the last 24 hours! I couldn’t sit in the same run as my husband if he did & he though I was lying.
As long as it doesn’t annoy you, I’ve decided to leave one tip on every video you post until baby is here. I have two boys and I’m 24 so I didn’t really have friends to give advice. Tip #1: spend a good chunk of time researching feeding options for baby. Bottle feeding formula, bottle feeding pumped breastmilk & what it looks like to be a pumping mom, and nursing directly from the boob! This is not something that will come natural and has a high chance of catching you off guard, which lowers your chance for successfully breastfeeding long term. Most moms don’t receive enough support or education so it’s a good idea to learn what it’s like day to day and how to take care of yourself and your baby in whichever feeding method you choose. Don’t go into this with a “I’ll just wing it” mindset, take control of it as much as you can now by educating yourself! Built to Birth on UA-cam has some great videos to learn.🤍🤍 praying for you!
I feel like my last month of pregnancy really prepared me for the sleep deprivation because I was so insomniac that last month. And coming from a first time mother who had NEVER held a baby in her life, and mine being the first, just trust yourself. You mother instincts will kick in as soon as you have that baby x10 and trust your body. I often look back and wonder how did I survive those 2 hour sleeps, but you’re in such adrenaline you don’t even realize. You can definitely survive off of 30min sleep lol. Oh and cravings? I craved chocolate pudding and pickles my first and half of second trimester…together. 😅🤣
The cramps are a very real early symptom though. I just feel many people aren't really that sensitive. It is why I knew I was pregnant less than 2 weeks after that month's ovulation. I haven't even missed a period at the point I tested (very long cycles) and it was all based off of "i am not feeling alright and got a little cramping, it probably is PMS which I barely ever get but I am gonna work with professional grade (unsafe) chemicals the next day so better be sure I am not" :D That little "just to be sure" test is soon turning half a year btw.
Yes! It’s so worth it! And when you look back someday, all of this will make you smile♥️ I remember being able to only eat Mac n cheese! Then with my twins, I ate Taco Bueno’s Mexi Dip and Chips about 5 times a week! 😮I’ve eaten it through the years since, & it’s not the same. Oh!! The weirdest thing, I absolutely LOVED the smell of rubber tires🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ I would go to Sam’s just to go to the tire department. You’re right about smells being heightened!!!🤣🤣🤣
The coffee 😭 I am 31 weeks & I cannot have any coffee at all. A few weeks prior to finding out I was pregnant, I bought a really nice espresso machine & all my syrups & I can’t even look at it without gaging!!! 😂 In my experience with my three kids, pregnancy tired is far worse than newborn tired! lol I have a 11 month old & pregnant again & I’d take newborn tired over this anydayyy!! 😂
You’re not still taking metformin are you? Is that safe? I’m assuming your doctor and you have already taking about. Cuz I do respect that you said your tell your dr everything you take❤😊
I hated the smell of our fridge. Not because of the food, but the smell of cold. Even if my husband would open it, I could smell it from the other room.
I don’t know if you answered this but how many weeks are you? I’m just now 18 weeks ☺️ Also even after my reaching the second trimester I have anxiety about something going wrong, have you experienced anything similar since you had that spotting? ❤
Congrats!! 🎉🎉🎉 When I filmed this I was 17ish weeks! (I’m due in September!) And yes I feel like the anxiety will always be there tbh haha but soo much better than the first trimester!
Dont worry about the sleep deprivation. Honestly, your body will know how to deal with it. It sucks. I went a couple of days without sleep after delivering but my body knew it had to be up to take care of the baby no matter how much other people helped me. The days will be long but they won’t last forever. 😢 Enjoy it!!
What was the name of the book you said your mother in law gave you about a woman who talks to the dead? If you can remember...I want to buy it back then but forgot. Thanks
Haha Clancy the smells was my first clue. I remember sitting in an office and someone way on the other side was eatting an orange. I was like omg whats the strong orange smell? No one could smell it and then i saw the lady eatting an orange and im like what super power did I just get? 😂 it makes sense because biologically smells helped us make sure we got safe foods during pregnancy and didnt eat anything that smelled bad. Lol Milk and cereal is normal too cause of the vitamins and calcium. It was one of my cravings. I was lucky my lactose intolerance wasnt an issue during my pregnancy. That was another hint at first lol😅
I had never held a baby (infant) until I held my own child. When other teenage girls were earning money by babysitting, I was running the cash register at my dad's store. My very first sympton was my boobs ached.
I'm so excited for you and Zac! You two are going to be amazing parents. Asher is gonna be the best big brother too! They will grow up together and be best friends. Hope to see a gender reveal soon!
I remember the first symptom I had with my first was a nauseating reaction to a picture of a lotus flower with its seeds. That was when I discovered I had trypophobia (fear of holes) and shortly after that I was pregnant.
I feel like you're having a boy 👩🍼. Idk just seems like the same symptoms as i had a boy, too❤. Salty food, evening nausea, just a thought! You're going to be a great mom! Good luck, and God bless your family ❤.
Omg yeah I was only regular on birth control. Otherwise it was 18 day cycle one month and 45 day cycle the next month. Just had a hysterectomy one month ago. My gyn said I had a tiny uterus and from what I've read that can cause issues with your cycle and possibly fertility or the ability to carry to full term so hineslt I'm happy that I decided a number of years ago that pet parenthood is the life for me. I'm so happy for you though and I love these pregnancy videos/vligs
I was so thrown off (but in a good, happy way) when I saw your video post 😂. My brain was like "whaattt!!! It's Wednesday already." Because of Sunday's vid I was thrown off a bit thinking that today is Tuesday. I didn't realise the extent to which I use your video uploads to mark my week out🤣🤣 Wow. I don't know what that says about me😂. In any case, I just wanted to say hi, Clancy 👋
I’m most interested is the introduction of Asher and baby. And please don’t be that person who won’t allow their pet to give the baby licks and kisses. Or push the pet away. They must feel loved and they will protect their little human if allowed to I’m watching my friends adult kids, children growing up with their paralyzed weenie dog and it’s a beautiful site. They lay with the weenie, love on it, kiss him etc. it’s been almost 5 years with 2 littles and it’s beautiful💜. The love between a dog and a child just gives me chills it’s so touching. My children had pet siblings all their lives and my grandsons too. They love my fur kids more than their own. But have to say they have 160lb Newfie 🤷🏻♀️
I'm one month behind you which works prefect with the delay of posting the videos 😊 And you have the same due month as 3 of my friends. I also had PCOS for so many years, what helped me was a supplement called Inofolic. I didn't have a period before the conception so it was also a big surprise! Just want to say to every woman with PCOS, believe it's possible!
Till death do you part, and all your vows. I let my husband divorce me, because I realized I did not want children of my own. I had a mental illness. Plus, Depakote causes birth defects.
this is random but your intro colors remind me of that's so raven hahah
Omg I looooved that show growing up haha
when you said your anxiety is too high to deliver anywhere other then a hospital, i couldn’t have agreed with you more!

Once you have your routine set, you’ll be fine. My Sister had a solid schedule for every day and she also worked a full time job after 6 weeks.
“People claimed I’m going to love my baby more than my dog” 😂😂 this was so relatable I love it. It’s a different kind of love! I’m excited for you!
I’ve been married 26yrs and raised 3 sons. The best advice I can offer is stay in a mad love affair with your husband, and make sure your kids see him adoring you. Life is full of ups and downs, so try to enjoy the ride. 😅❤

In line at Starbucks for my favorite iced oatmilk espresso. Full day of work ahead, but I have your video to be excited about after!!🥰
Aww hope you have a great day!!❤️❤️
I can't wait for a gender reveal 👀 lol
Sweet girl don’t apologize, it’s so special to hear your story! You are going to be an amazing mom!
Happy Wednesday, Clancy!😊😊😊😊😊😎☀💙💙💙💙💙💙🌷💖💖💖💖💖💖🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇👍. I love your reaction when Asher scares you behind 3:05 3:08 3:15! Hee-hee! Now that's funny!😀😀😀😀😀😀👍
So happy for the both of you! 🎉 I’m so happy to see you on this journey, and as a PCOS sister myself, you and Zack have given my fiancè and I hope. 🤍 Many blessings for the both of you!
Aww I’m so glad!! It IS possible:)
28 year old mama of 2 awful sleepers here!!! Its hard but you they do grow out of it always remember throughout this journey everything is a phase
So excited for you, congratulations! I swear everyone I know is pregnant right now 😆 I'm due in September!
Thank you!!💞 and aww yay!!! Congrats!🎉👏🏻

Aww! Thank you so much!!💞💞
Clancy I’m so excited for you guys. Loving 🥰 being able to watch your journey.
Thank you so much!!💞💞
Loved this! Thanks for letting us be apart of your journey! Do you guys have plans for a baby moon before baby arrives?
I don’t think we’re going to do a formal baby moon but we’ll be going to New York this summer for a wedding!
Absolutely cannot wait for gender reveal. I feel like my guess is boy!
I have two of each and both are fantastic!
Have a Wonderful Wednesday Clancy and I really really never missed any one of your vlogs💞💞😊
Thank you!!
Clancy! I am here from your pregnancy announcement video, but commenting here in case you have a higher chance of seeing it! When you mentioned your husband's mystery health/pain stuff, it made me think of what I've been going tbrough. Please have him look into mind body syndrome! The book Unlearn Your Pain by Howard Schubiner has been a lifesaver for me. I am almost pain free after 9+ years of random symptoms! I hope you see this, and congrats on your little one! ❤
Clancy! I started watching your UA-cam channel for your braces vlogs, now I’m pregnant with my first baby too 🎉💖
I am so happy for you and I love that you're sharing this experience with us ❤❤
Loved this video! I also have PCOS and you have given me so much hope that I can one day have kids too! ❤️
You'd mentioned you were on medication for PCOS and I know SO many women with PCOS that got pregnant relatively quickly after going on Metformin. So the pregnancy announcement had me thinking, 'ahhhh, another Metformin success story!'

I know! You said, or your mom said! So cool! Your aunt met your baby long before you will.
Awww!🥹🩷
I’m getting baby boy vibes! ❤
SUPER early in my first trimester with my daughter I went to an islanders rangers game. I will never forget the smell of beer surrounding me. It’s a miracle I didn’t throw up everywhere. The heightened smell was intense!
Omg I would’ve died!! Haha the smell of alcohol is still so gross to me
But how do you know you weren’t ovulating? It still seems like you guys just assumed you couldn’t get pregnant based on some diagnosis’ that can make it hard to conceive… no hate and I’m so happy for you guys! Buuuuut I still don’t understand why you guys were so convinced you couldn’t conceive haha!
My 2 kids are in their 20s now, but I have always loved my dogs like my kids. And my kids respect me for that.
Never been this early lol !! Congratulations to you and Zac!!! 🎊💕

I’m looking forward to a sweet picture of Asher in a bandanna that matches either baby girls hair bow or baby boys bow tie ❤😊
Your home with Asher all day so you know when he pushes buttons.
I see y’all will balance parenting ❤
Awwww congrats, Clancy!!! 🎉🎉🎉 May God Bless you and your family!!! 🤗

stop saying it's impossible. there's always a chance lol
Ugh the coffee! I am so obsessed with coffee and couldn’t drink it for the first trimesters of either of my pregnancies
I dont like other peoples children either, but mine are my whole world. I know people who love kids but hated being a parent too. You will be great!
Oh definitely agree!!!! I was very glad to be in a hospital ❤

So happy for you ☺️ You look great! Have you done the NIPT blood test for early detection for gender, etc?
Thank you!! And yes! Gender reveal coming soon 🥰
Still so happy for you❤

I never changed a diaper until I had my first kid😂…now 3 kids later I would still feel uncomfortable changing another baby’s diaper
My husband would joke that I could smell better than our dog while I was pregnant. Wish me luck! We are going to start trying for baby #2 soon. 🥰
Good luck!! 🍀
Clancy and Zac I hope you are have a great week
You too!!
it's okay to have fast food once in a while... it doesn't have to be disgusting @13:40
It’s just a pregnancy aversion for me right now
Completely random - are you into gaming at all? A gameplay of you playing overcooked or another co-op game with Zac would be so entertaining to watch
I love your shirt ❤️❤️
God bless you clancy an zac 🙏💜💜.
Asher listening to you 😅.
Sense if smell interesting
Your bladder got weak but water is good for u an the baby

Did have a regular cycle on BC?
I promise you’ll love your baby more than your dog. A lot more. I love my dogs but nothing compares to the love I have for my daughter.

HELLO CLANCY AND ASHER FROM WISCONSIN
Good morning!!!☀️
My smell was insane, I knew I was pregnant when I could smell all the metal in the copier at work.
What was the name of the book you said your mother in law gave you about a woman who talks to the dead? If you can remember...I want to buy it back then but forgot. Thanks

I had never held a baby (infant) until I held my own child. When other teenage girls were earning money by babysitting, I was running the cash register at my dad's store. My very first sympton was my boobs ached.
Could it be, that your Mom is coming for a gender reveal?! I'm so excited to find out the gender of Baby Rogal... 😊
I'm so excited for you and Zac! You two are going to be amazing parents. Asher is gonna be the best big brother too! They will grow up together and be best friends. Hope to see a gender reveal soon!
Thank you!!🩷🩷
Everything is different for everyone. You need to just relax and enjoy. Try to stay off the internet. 😊
Funnily enough, my sense of smell heightens every month the week before my period. It’s debilitating 😅
Omg! Haha I’ve always heard people say pregnancy and period symptoms are so similar!
I remember the first symptom I had with my first was a nauseating reaction to a picture of a lotus flower with its seeds. That was when I discovered I had trypophobia (fear of holes) and shortly after that I was pregnant.
I made my husband change the type of deodorant he used when I was pregnant cause the smell grossed me out. 😁
I would eat grilled cheese and tomato soup twice a day lol in first trimester
I feel like you're having a boy 👩🍼. Idk just seems like the same symptoms as i had a boy, too❤. Salty food, evening nausea, just a thought! You're going to be a great mom! Good luck, and God bless your family ❤.
You are having a BOY!❤
Omg yeah I was only regular on birth control. Otherwise it was 18 day cycle one month and 45 day cycle the next month. Just had a hysterectomy one month ago. My gyn said I had a tiny uterus and from what I've read that can cause issues with your cycle and possibly fertility or the ability to carry to full term so hineslt I'm happy that I decided a number of years ago that pet parenthood is the life for me.
I'm so happy for you though and I love these pregnancy videos/vligs
Pet parenthood is AMAZING!!! And thank you! 🩷
Hahaha that’s amazing 😂😂😂
💜
Yay baby
❤❤
So girl when’s the gender reveal?
Till death do you part, and all your vows. I let my husband divorce me, because I realized I did not want children of my own. I had a mental illness. Plus, Depakote causes birth defects.
💜💙🌸
I thought eating cereal was normal lol
It is…but going to the store every couple of days to buy a new one to try probably isn’t 😂
I am 2nd today, almost 1st, lol 😂
lol! I knew that you’d be birthing in the hospital. I am the same way. Why wouldn’t you…💕
You’re having a girl
I think you are expecting a girl
The baby & your body probably needed fat.
