Hey buddy, just a couple things I noticed while watching that might help you out. One, you can change out the batteries of your tools by using "X" on your keyboard. There is a list of keybinds on the right of your screen when you pull out your different tools. And Secondly, I think you might need to go back to that little settlement and scan the room itself. Every time you had your scanner out and it was pointing at the walls, it was giving you the symbol. This is very similar to Subnautica. Hope that helps you out! I am so excited for this game!
