Found a sickly looking Bonneville Cutthroat that led me to a few more, also got some footage of juvenile Cutthroat trout dukeing it out for pole position in the current while fishing Mill Creek Canyon near Downtown SLC.

Why were the fish like that?

Honestly I'm not sure, it may be a disease, the sores match the description of some. Others have said it may be from spawning, either attacking each other over mates or bedding.
