These are videos aren't ham-fisted at all. You have a niche and a particular style. The self-deprecation is genuine and charming. and you know your stuff. We don't always need the "look at me I'm too busy in Berlin and Lisbon and too expert to care about your opinions" that we get from other UA-cam channels that I also follow.
Thanks for this review. Have you or anyone else compared them to the Heritage Specials? I was absolutely blown away by both the Esotar and the bass extension. The only reason I didn't buy them was they sounded slightly boxy and I have a tall space and ended up buying a tall 4 way speaker.
Enjoyed your review of those what look like solid wood speakers. I run a Gyrodec with Vertere Sabre Cartridge. I noticed you also have a Gyrodec but seem to have modded it with some kind of drum between the platter and plinth. I would be interested to know what it is and does. Thanks
I wish they would put a tweeter protective grill over the tweeter like Bowers and Wilkins and a few other companies. It so easy to damage especially with young children around
Totally agree. The Contour 2.8 with the original Esotar tweeter, who look like a spitting image of these, came with grills and it's been helpful to have with my kids. That said, the dust covers on the tweeters are replaceable.
Hi Ed, I see from the video that you have the Hugo M Scaler and Hugo TT2 DAC combo. Can I ask what you feed them from as a digital transport and if you use USB to do that?
@JerryM-p2v hi thanks , I will have to keep to standmounts , I can only get 6ft6 wide , I can get the 9ft with plenty of room from front wall 2ft plus and the same behind my sitting position, thanks again

The big brother of mine Dynaudio Heritage. Same drivers. Specially the soft dome tweeter is magic!
About to order a pair to play from my Diablo 300. So need to sell my Contour 30 quickly :)
looks like your auto white balance got unhappy. Dynaudio one of my favs - curious to see how you judge them
These are my favorite speakers 🔊 ❤💯🙌
Beautiful speakers
Looks like a legend in the making, like a vintage 911 but with the engine of a GT3. Lucky whoever gets these speakers.
You did test the moon 641 before
Do you think it will be a good much with this countor ?
