I appreciate the fact that, there is someone, walking around Tokyo, with a HUGE CAMERA GIMBAL,just to Record this visual experience, and put Just one advertisement in the video.
I know this is an old video and you probably won't see this comment, but this is my favorite video on UA-cam, my second favorite is the one you made where you walked the backstreets of japan in the rain at night. You are my favorite youtuber, I come to watch you every single day. Your videos are like magic, they put me in a trance, and give me a sense of longing and, oddly, something similar to nostalgia, but for experiences you want to have. I hope one day I'll be able to come to japan and take walks like this. Truly the best content on UA-cam.
@Anita Orphanita people don't know karate as a second language in japan lol. It's just really hard to get a gun there so there's not as much crime. There's still crime and some gun violence obviously but because of laws and cultural differences it tends to be safer
This is what I like to see the most, walking through a modern Japanese city at night. I have some big goals to achieve in order to experience what you did , gotta work hard and stay motivated at all cost. Because no matter how hard the road may be, with passion at your side you can overcome anything. I come here from time to time to watch your videos, it helps alot, thank you.
This is going on my best of Rambalac playlist. I love how your camera deals with the dark. These quiet nighttime ones are some of my favorites. Keep up the good work!
I was totally amazed how clean and neat everything is kept and the overwhelming safe feeling I got watching this video The Sounds you were able to capture are superb really makes you feel like you're right there the 4K quality is perfect I quite frankly never knew my sound system could sound so good
as someone with bad eyesight, the night videos are especially nice. Either i don't see clearly or is have those flaring rays due to glasses. So this is far better than reality to me :D
Came here after watching call of the night and now i can see what they were talking about. The silent street the night sky the cold vibe it truly does indeed feels like the most peacefull thing ever with everything felling like your in control and all on your own.
At 26:49 if there is a shrine, no matter how humble Rambalac will find it. If there is a cat (though this time there was none ) no matter how stealthy Rambalac will find it. If there is a green tea bottle in a vending machine, no matter how malfunctioning, Rambalac will make the machine dispense it. And if there is anything interesting, no matter how quotidian or hidden , Rambalac will film it. Master of the immersive walk.
Perfect and can't say enough about the approach. As someone looking forward to my own nightwalks in Japan someday, this was a fantastic surprise. Very well done, and feels much like what I would do, explore and appreciate the world minus the busy distractions common during the day.
Intriguing night walk! I love it:) Taking your viewers on a journey into the still darkness, so to speak, it turns them, me included, into wandering ghosts, into shadows on the outside looking in.
Your videos are so wonderful to come home to after a long, stressful day at work. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Your night walks are so wonderfully relaxing. :)
I just discovered your channel. You are very skilled in what you do, and please know that we really appreciate the effort you put into making these videos! Every new video presents a breath-taking experience that somehow skillfully entails all elements of aesthetics-- from a selection of clean, crisp acoustic qualities, to the dreamy visual presentations. Your channel and your work is simply a real gem. 😊😊
I lived right at Tabata station this summer (that building with scaffolding on the right at the beginning of the video). Fujisoba was my favourite place for dinner. Then I used to go to the Family Mart on another side of the road and buy some summer things (ice-cream and water). Oh, I miss this it so much!
Since it's still early in the morning, I thought I'd join you on another stroll in and through the night, only to let you know that I appreciate the scenes with the vacant playground and swings at 34:30. It's as if you're traveling through the night, just to discover in the process a lost and/or treasured piece of your childhood. Making an unplanned stop to a simpler place and time.
You know what. I came from that Aokigahara video. And now Im staying for all these QUALITY CONTENT. It feels like im walking down each and every video u make on my own. I feel like im the one walking up those stairs, looking around those alleys. Thank you. I really, really, truly love your channel.
It's crazy how you walk around with your camera at night, in the darkness even and you don't mind at all. Is Japan really that safe? I really want to travel now haha
stray freckles Bruh, I’m a year late but Japan has consistently ranked in the top 10 safest countries in the world and Tokyo’s most dangerous neighbourhood is somewhere in Shinjuku Ward and has a crime rate of about 1-3%.
En route to the back street alley, there is a Chinese word-dumpling,makes me hungry.Loved the Japanese lanterns in the alleyway,an ambience of darkness is so charming with the lit lanterns.
This brings back memories. I think this channel was one that I saw some years ago where it was a windy night and that girl at the beginning of the walk had that happy accident. Hopefully it didn't get deleted.
Absolutely love your videos, please make more. Tokyo looks a very nice place to live, minimal litter etc. A million miles away from my home. I presume you are using some kind of steady cam?
I stayed at a hostel two years back and now that i think of it it was pretty quiet 10/10 would go again (lowkey thinking about moving there and it might be in tabata)
Dear Rambalac: I do not want to appear presumptuous or arrogant when I assume that this video has in its 30:19 minute dedicated to this argentine user that is I, who has been marveling at you for a while now, for your beautiful works and with surprise and joy I belatedly this video where you stop and focus on the name of the restaurant Elba, which is my name and if so I do not want to pass as a discourteous subscriber so if you have dedicated it to me I thank you proud and excited for such beautiful delicacy and if not equally everything is very good! Cordially greets you from Argentina: Elba :-))
I am Japanese and I live in Japan, and I can say that the streets of Japan are very safe at night. Of course, there is no danger at all, so some caution is necessary, but at least in the 20-plus years I have lived here, I have never felt unsafe. I have been abroad several times, but when I went abroad for the first time, I did my homework so that I could enjoy living abroad safely. The first thing that surprised me was when I found an article that said, "Don't walk on the streets at night because it is dangerous. At first I did not understand what it meant, but now I do. For Japanese people, being able to walk in the streets at night without taking precautions is a normal occurrence, and I never once thought of worrying about it.
Hmm according to the google and trip advisor there are thing to see and do near Tabata station but they are day activities. Like visiting shrines or temple or parks or gardens or museums or shopping areas. There is a shopping area called Nippori Fabric town that seems quite popular with crafters and seamstresses or artisans who work with fabric. Would have been nice to see that shopping area. Though you might have found it boring. LOL
Tokyo is so beautiful. I wish I could enjoy it without the INTENSE bittersweet memories. I lost the love of my life there just like "Lost In Translation". My image of the city feels tainted by the experience.
Most of your walk looks like it could be in any modern city, totally nondistinct! Perhaps the folks in Tabata like it having "nothing", as the "nothingness" provides a serene area to go home and rest after a stressful day! I shall always remember your "slide"..... :' )
imagine watching these videos in vr
You can, in mobile UA-cam app.
