This is going to be insane. As a massive old Sairento fan, I can see just how much the formula has progressed. There is so much more going on, now. Everything is so detailed and articulated. It looks like there's even individual damage points that light up orange. The slow-mo barrel roll looks wild. I remember when Sairento got the update that allowed the player to backflip off the wall. That was crazy, too! So excited!
Love the Doom-like music; previous gameplay videos made the game seem too quiet. I hope SairentoVR adjustable-crouch-height slide comes back perhaps akin to the Subzero ice-slide in Mortal Kombat. Grappling hooks to move to enemies, especially flyers, to melee them, and for rapid 3D mobility would be awesome. The slide and grappling would also make guerilla/hit-run combat more fluid, instead requiring the player to back away after a melee attack as seen in this video.
I was in contact with the CM on discord about the music, unfortunately it is not thier ost. We still don't really know what the soundtrack will sound like. As for the crouch to slide height, yes it can be changed to how many cm/inches you want In this clip he is really slow with the sword for no particular reason, maybe it's so people who aren't used to fast vr gameplay can see what's going on. But when I played the demo I didn't need to back away after every swing, so don't worry about that
a few problems here, i never recived my preorder bonus for some reason, i nderstand tha good graphics may be hard to perfect but everything is jagged and there is little to no lightning on the quest release. fun besides from the fact that if you die you have to start over. this game could have been so much more but with all the problems at launch its really dragging players away from this amazing experience.
