Awesome RC and mods great install and video
Thank you!!
The foam inserts that come in the box of the castle 1100 motor made the perfect gap filler for underneath the motor on the 1/5 exb.
Nice buddy 👍 its much needed to protect, especially on the heavier motors.
Really nice touches man!
Thx buddy👍🙂
Nice review.😄👍😄
Thank you for sharing a great video.
Have a good day. 💪😀💪
Thank you
Nice job
Thx dude!!👍👍🙂
Very nice my friend greetings from Germany
looks like he dont like germans😏
no like here😄🐒
Good video, I just got an 8s Kraten RTR. I'm curious, where did you obtain those rear mud guards? I've searched and the only ones that come up are for RPM A-arms and I don't want to swap those out as well (unless I break them of course). Cheers!
Hi buddy. I have had a look on my eBay for these guards but It looks like they aren't available anymore...tbh you can easily make your own. I made a set for my outcast 8s from an unused paint roller tray. I cut it out using either a dremel tool or mini hack saw and then cut out a couple of holes at the bottom. I attached them using a couple of zip ties to the arms. Honestly it's super easy to make yourself. Just make sure the material you use is slightly flexible.
@@inspiredrc Thanks for the quick reply. I'm honestly surprised these aren't more prevalent since the rear assembly is by far the most prone to debris, especially on wet/muddy bashes. Thanks again!
where did you get that awesome skid plate protector? Ive got the 6S Kraton EXB and i gotta have one. Do you have a link for that?
Yeah. Its from arrma skinz. www.arrmaskinz.com
I have one installed on my 6s exb also. I have made a video on that as well. Check it out on my channel...🙂
where are the links to what youve added? Really nice mods bro. I just wanna know where to purchase.
Thx dude!! All the links are in the description below.
Getting mine hydrodipped then having a ceramic clear coat put on
Nice 👍👍
doesn't it break your pins in the half shafts? because I have a problem and every ride I change the pins maybe you have any advice what to use now I tried the drill but it also broke off
Hi buddy. The only solution that works is to replace the stock hinge in blocks for solid 7075 3rd party aluminium ones. M2c and crcu make them. Also m2c make stronger pins. Both together will remove your issue.
Can you tell me the shaft on the motor is it 5 mm or 8 mm.. I just bought one
Hi. Mine is 5mm. It depends on how new your motor is. I think the new ones are 8mm. Best to wait until your motor arrives to be 100% sure.
Im looking for a new truck. Which exb is more fun to drive ? peace !
Hi buddy...this truck is definitely fun and durable...I prefer the 8s rigs as they are heavier and more predictable in the air....
Have there been more updates on this rc since the video?
Hi. I've not done much else to the 8s exb since this vid....there are other mods that can be done but I've not had any issues so haven't needed to do any more.
Hi, i have arrma outcast 8s, regarding mudguard, could i mount the same ones you mounted?
Hi yes you can use these on the outcast as well. The arms are the same.
@@inspiredrc in the video you have used plastic clamp for fix the mudguard to rear arm, but in this way it is fixed well is locked appropriately? Didn't you use the screw to avoid damaging the arms?
@@oloap72 these mud guards came with zip ties and not screws. The zip ties work well. I've not had any issues with them.
@@oloap72 I've made my own for my outcast 8s. I will show them in my next video.
Bro...where did u buy the Orange tape??
Hi pal. Heres a link to one on ebay....
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50mm-x-90-Meters-Drywall-Scrim-Tape-Drywall-Plasterboard-Tape-Mesh-Tape-/352945226704?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m2548.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
How fast is the kraton 8s exb with a 23 tooth pinoin?
On a hard surface around 50mph. On grass around 46-47. I use a 25 tooth on mine. I can get around 55mph.
What was that for under the motor
Its was a piece of foam pad to cushion the motor on heavy landings.
Good idea hey do you have another link for the lipo checker I want to do that to my k8 the one is not working I found the lipo tester do you have a part number on the extender
Ahh still can’t make my mind up on the 6S or the 8S
Bro I would say the 6s is a lot cheaper to repair and keep running....I love bashing the bigger rigs. For me the 8s is what I perfer. Its an absolute beast!!
@@inspiredrc Yeah man it's difficult because this will e my first Arrma. I think if I buy the 6S eventually I'll want the 8S lol. What do you think 🤣👍
@@freddieparrydrums yes.👍 of its your first then defo go for the 6s. Your going to love it.... I do recommended my free rear wing mod....well worth doing. I've got some helpful vids on the 6s. Be sure to check them out if you get some free time.
@@inspiredrc Okay thanks man. I wish someone would do size comparison against Traxxas Slash because then I’d know the size lol. Thanks for the advice 👍
@@inspiredrc I have a TRX-6 and the 6S is pretty much the same length the 8S is 29 inch the TRX-6 is 23 inch
Will the chassie supports work on the normal kraton 8s
Hi pal. The chassis support mod is a nut and bolt with a spacer to link the rear chassis support to the exb chassis. The rtr 8s kraton already comes with the rear chassis support bolted to its chassis so there is no need to do the mod to the rtr. All my other mods are well worth doing to the rtr though 👍
@@inspiredrc ah because I have heared it bends the non exb
@@mbfishing3807 if you want to strengthen the rtr chasis then i recommend a radical rc bash bar....it will stop the chasis bending on nasty landings....
@@inspiredrc bet thx I’m picking mine up today I’m so excited ima order one now and do you think rpm a rams should be good
@@mbfishing3807 rpm arms are good but I just soaked my rtr ones wd40 and have been good. The only thing I keep breaking is the esc fan so I did do a mod to strengthen it. I do recommend getting an outcast 8s wheelie bar for it.
Nice job
Thx buddy 👍🙂🙂
