I love my Colossus. I lovingly call it the 'Vol. 4" Muff after the classic Sabbath album. Andy, you should've went through the 3 toggle positions and discussed the Mid boost and how that interacts with the Mids pot. Plus, the top position accentuates the highs which is great for humbuckers. This is an EXCELLENT Sovtek/Civil War variant from Mojo Hand FX. Highly recommended!
Nailed that Rated R QotSA in the intro... I really hope this is the result of me suggesting you do more QotSA in your fuzz demos a while ago, they've been in almost every one since.
I hate PGS, for a very simple reason, they make me want to buy every single pedal. It's like putting a bottle of Jack Daniels in front of an alcoholic. Amazing as always Andy.
Sounds like the answer to the "no midrange on a big muff so I probably won't be using it on bass guitar" conundrum. Low-end response is important for bass guitar, of course, but the mids are equally, if not more so. No mids equals mushy invisible fuzz on bass - every time.
I'm not a fan of fuzz/distortion pedals... But this one sounds REALLY good! It doesn't sound like it colors the natural tone of the guitar too much (which is important to me). I may have to check this one out. \m/
Hello mythical! Very interesting pedal... I wanted to ask your advice: I'm really torn between buying the Colossus or Leviathan, or Pharaoph, or Catalinbread Manx. I need a muddy distortion, but with a good attack (for Palm Muting), so no Big Muff. And why not a distortion? Because then I'd like the notes in solos have the typical decay of fuzz ... In short, I need versatility. Could you direct me in the purchase? Thank you Thank you Thank you!
i cant believe i watched this video and bought this pedal literally 5 seconds after it ended. jack daniels for an alcoholic. more like a shot in the arm
Very nice that QOTSA was used to demo this pedal. Just picked this pedal up and I love it.
That solo with a G&L starting at 3:36 is just amazing. Love that style of playing!
i think i lost my headache andy you sir are my hero.

"I Think I lost My Headache" Queens of the Stone Age
2:13 if I just heard this without seeing Andy play I would never guess it was a tele.

They really need to make a list of the songs Andy plays in the description.
