Master craftsman! Not only your attention to the last details for building strong and accurate, but also light. Thanks for sharing, I'll be using all your tips on my next build for a lighter, faster boat...
I would like to build that boat in a 1/6th scale gaser, i have built a lot of scale boats from Newton plans but this set of 1/6th scale plans does not exist. Thanks Jerry.
I'm sure Mike would scale it in gas scale if you'll ask, but I think it wouldn't work since the engine is surely too large to fit underneath the small cowling. Even I'm not crazy enough to try that!
Regarding the clear section on the cowling Scott. How is the clear canopy formed and glued into the fiberglass? I would assume that the cowling is formed to accept the clear canopy.
Yes it's vacuum formed lexan. I don't have that capability yet myself, but you can find them at hobby shops for aircraft canopies and also at RC Boat Company online
I’ll get good someday!!!!! I’ll just keep watching. Nice work Sir!!!!!
As always good stuff.😎

Well get after it then!
I appreciate your videos. I saw them all and hope after this project they continue. You do this passionately.
You watched ALL my videos?! Impressive
I built my entire rc boat from aluminum sheet metal. Tig welded it all together and its stronger and lighter then my wood built hydroplane.

Will you have info coming on finishing off the engine well?
Thanks for the reminder, I keep forgetting to do that. Yes I'll include it in the next video

@@M5PerfHydros I have a pretty decent vacuum forming machine. If you make the plug, I can pull just about anything up to quarter inch or so.
Why not use west systems 207 hardener for the sealing instead of 206 slow?
You sure could, but I like the longer working time of the slower cure
Don't drick the denatured alcohol , I've done it he says 😂😅
I SAID it was a long time ago!
@@M5PerfHydros 😂😆, have a good day
Don't you fiberglass your hulls
Nope!
