I dig the slow mo drops. This truck drives so much better with the firestorms. I don't think it slides too much, you'll just have to get used to driving it

Won't those adapters add more stress on the stub axles??
I believe they will. I dont like the floating pin design. I dont know why they couldn't have drilled a hole and make it so you can use factory hex pin so they dont just fall out. Just like putting wheel spacers on a real car adding weight farther away from the axle housing will cause more wheel bearing and hub (stub axle) stress.
You could swap out for 12mm hexes and use the adapters that come with the tribute wheels.

Vitavon will have housings soon. I’ll probably go 4ws with a Gravedigger at that time so I have both.
Exocaged RC Vitavon makes the housings and I will buy an LMT Gravedigger for sure.

I personally do not like a lot of slo no it’s too played out these days but, I know I’m one of few compared to people who love slo-mo. Either way the videos are always great!

Yes more slow motion videos, and this one was a good one I wish you had shown more slow motion jumping that truck. Also that extra with helps the truck in turns at higher speeds and tight turns.

Awesome buddy, I wanted to get that truck but I went for a trxxas maxx instead so I can use the motor out of my Xmaxx in it lol sticking the max6 in the xmaxx and using the mini maxx motor in my summit...

That’s the thing is to learn to drive it with each kind of tired pending on what you’re doing what tire you use but you master all tires show who’s boss

I like the tire squish. I have a question, can you mitigate the squish by using stiffer foam? And still get the maximum squish?
Maybe the stiffer foam in the tires with heavier shock oil, could possibly mitigate bottoming out the chassis? Just a thought, I’d like to know what your thoughts are.
I also have a losi lmt, haven’t driven it yet. But I can’t wait. Thanks for the information.

I would have sanded the inside of the wheels for clearance. Back cutting is a terrible idea!
Sand it out and it gets super thin, then it breaks off and you end up back cutting them anyways. One one of them I did try that and it was too thin.
I thought the firestorm tires were bigger than the stock tires

Hey! These wheels adapters should fit the smt10? I had a hex nut spin in my tribute wheels. Hoping this would solve this issue.

Why pin drive? I always had issues with pin drive. Mount old OG wraith was pin & I had a lot of issues stripping wheels. Switched to 12mm hex all problems solved!! Just curious!!👍🏼
How about a 5mm shock (shaft) stop? Should keep from chassis slap. (Most of us know that chassis slap scrubs speed & handling).
Do you recommend and rims that you wont need to cut down ?
Any tip's on shock upgrade's ?.Mine leak from the factory an don't hold oil it's a pain to fill every time i run it
I’ve been lucky I guess. Mine don’t have any leaking issues.
Nice i love the truck an did treal upgrade's on it axle's and 4 link. But didn't realize the shock's had a problem when it was shipped to me from Horizon hobby's. But to ship it back for warranty your charged by the pound to ship it so better off to just upgrade or replace them

Couldn’t you have just beveled the inner edge of the wheel to get the clearance vs cutting the rings completely off?
There isn’t a whole lot of material to trim away but you coulda trimmed some.

It be nice if someone makes redesigned steering knuckles that bring in the steering arm and shorter steering link to accommodate the tributes!

@@ExocagedRC the way it seemed to bottom out so much and bounce up when landing, I think it’s much better landing with stock wheels. I also have treal all around so it’s def landing harder than stock. Hope the vitavon links become available again soon
