- If you beat the game Super Mario Bros 3 (Super Mario Advance 4 for the Gameboy Advance) and head back to the Castle Levels in Worlds 1-7, you will be greeted with a unique cutscene where it shows how the Kings were transformed into different creatures!
Have you seen them before yourself? This is quite a cool Easter Egg!

Actually, according to the company who currently develops Donkey Kong games, Cranky Kong is the *grandfather* of the current DK, meaning the current DK is Donkey Kong III. DK Jr's whereabouts are currently unknown, much like Kammy Koopa.
What's more shocking, that the Koopalings flat out punch Toad or that the kings just stand there as their castles are being invaded?

The fact that one of the kings turn into a Yoshi, even though Yoshi wasn't even designed when SMB3 first came out is troubling.
I mean, it’s a remake so it’s just a reference, plus Yoshi still EXIST in the universe so it’s fine.

You only notice this about Yoshi? Many of the other characters are also from the Era after SMB3.
I don't see any reason why these cutscenes should be locked behind a second playthrough??
These would've made a great introduction to each world!
As I recall, you can only see these cutscenes by _warping_ past the worlds the first time you beat the game. When you go back to the castles of any skipped worlds, you get this extra cutscene to remind you, "Oh yeah, these kings are still in peril!"
I recall you don't receive the princess's letter afterward, though, so you miss out on some prizes in exchange for seeing these scenes.
I also recall the first scene is part of the main game intro, but that doesn't have the exclusive music based on the first game's castle music!

Why in the 1:28 part of the video does the king look like Mario and Luigi? Is he the third brother of Mario and Luigi that Shigeru Miyamoto mentioned?
In the original game, he used the same face sprite to save data.
I thought Yoshi was the third Mario brother since, y’know, he’s dating Rosalina.

Here's my theory:
Since Super Mario Bros. 3 was a stage play, the Mario we see in the game was an actor (hence why he has dot eyes in this game but white eyes in almost every other) and the "real" Mario dropped by in the theater as a cameo to play the King of Water Land, hence his white eyes.
The opening scene of Super Mario Bros. 3 for Gameboy Advance has a cinematic vibes that added to the epicness and charm to it. I wonder what it looks like if those cutscenes were made it into the NES.
The NES would probably spontaneously combust

Roy and Ludwig are the only two Koopalings in this game with the floor shaking technique.
They both shake the floor when they land in the castle.

I like how the toads were trying to protect the kings even tho I seemed hopeless for them to actually fight.

The first and the second king should switch places. The first looks more like a sultan, and fits better with the desert

Did you know there is a secret line in this game? All you have to do is beat one of the Koopalings while wearing either the Frog Suit ir the Tanooki Suit
What's crazy is that when you look at the early concept art of the Super Mario Bros. Mario was originally going to ride the clouds in the sky level.

Yeah Frog, Tanooki and Hammer Bros. Mario had hidden dialogue. The one for Hammer Bros. Mario was funny, the king wanted his suit haha

i have a smash challenge suggestion: what can beat wario's neutral special? I'm talking about moves like sonics neutral special and peachs side special. I have noticed wario almost consistently catches the opponent in his mouth when they try to use these.
I think it's mixed with super Mario advance,super Mario world ,donkey Kong game and the Yoshi's island

Very cool, but it's kind of disappointing that they're all exactly the same in terms of how everything goes down. They could have also given all the Koopalings some unique dialog right before they steal the wand and transform the king.

Wow! I played this version of the game many many times when it was released and I never knew about these cut scenes. It's amazing what secrets these older games have that some players have yet to discover. Also, HAIL KING YOSHI!

I only played the Mario All Star version like once in my life and it was roughly 3 decades ago lol so I had no idea of the existence of any these. Kinda cool to be honest. I wish I still had my SNES but over the course of various moves I lost all my systems…my NES (Which barely worked anymore), my GBA, my Game Gesr my yellowed SNES, my Genesis, my 32X, and my Sega Saturn. Shockingly I still have my PS One from 1996 and it still technically works. My PS2 broke and I bought a slim when I was half way through college in 2005 and it broke so fast because they were cheaply made. And from 2005-2012 I played X-Box, 360, Wii and PS3 cause my roomates had them.
I can’t get into modern games they have made it so it’s obsessed with you downloading the games which is so stupid. When it comes to games it’s all about a physical copy because if not, you never really own it. Also with these things I hear like Microsoft being a bunch of authoritarian leftists, they can now DECIDE when you can play based off of “eco” circumstances. I’m sorry…what?? You do not get to tell me when I can charge, or use anything I buy that’s an electronic.
Just like how iPhones snuck in that “eco friendly” charging” feature that slows down your charging based off of “high carbon times” or some non sense like that. I’ve made sure to have everyone I know turn it off because it’s so stupid and apple doesn’t get to decide how fast my phone charges, plus I obviously don’t give an CHIT if it’s eco friendly how I’m using my power. In fact if they tell me ways that cause more so called “ carbon emissions” I’ll be happy to do those things to supposedly make the made up global warming thing “worse” haha. I make sure to always empty every aerosol spray can I have before throwing it away in the REGULAR trash lol.
