Plastic grippers - No
Metal torsion spring gripper are much better.
The best brands of Spring grippers are Ironmind captains of Crush and GHP grippers (gillingham high performance). But cheaper brands work just as well.
Problem with spring grippers is a set resistance meaning steady progression is difficult to achieve and can become very expensive.
Adjustable grippers with variable resistance allows you to progress steadily as strength builds. The best one in my opinion is the David Horne Vulcan 2

How good is the one behind your left ear, the d shaped one?
The d shaped gripper is much cheaper and the worst adjustable gripper. Vatiz adjustable hand gripper (made in Korea) imo is the best in terms of build quality
@@thegripmaster666 have you tried the 'd shaped' gripper? Why do you think its the worst quality? You should give it a try if you haven't already. It is more natural for the hand to use it as compared to any gripper because it moves the digit 2 and 3 and trains them much better than coc torsion spring Grippers :/
@@SAMARTHNAIKDHURE_ The d shaped gripper was in fact the very first adjustable hand gripper I tried and the grip felt unnatural for me. I am not a fan of torsion spring grippers like CoC either. I have Robert Barabans adjustable gripper with negative handle, GD Iron Grip and Vatiz gripper which are much nicer than any other gripper out there.
