Shane&Steph Whitefield Amen. Unfortunately there aren't many men like that anymore. Least ways not where I live. It's sad to see. But there's not much we can do to change it except be the best we can and respect those who are dear to us and even to some regard those who aren't

This song reminds me alot of my dad, I remember growing up and him working alot, we never went hungry, and always had clothes on our backs, and it reminds me of what I am doing now, working hard to provide for your family. My parents showed me that there will be hard times, but you just do what you have to do, things will get better.

My husband works Mon-Fri 12 hours a day. We have 2 year old twins. No matter how tired he is, he will always comes home and plays with them and then puts them to bed. The babies are so used to that they wont go to sleep unless he's here. Their daddies babies for sure. I love you Josh, You're the best husband and dad ever
Life is hard but do what you have to do to take care of your family I have worked hard I may have had to work long hours and put my self in some hard spots missed time from my family and now having to suffer from the things I had to do but it was all worth it. Take care of your family and love them and spend every minute you can with them.
"I drive a buy here, pay here truck It ain't new, but it is for me It ain't much but it fires right up and get me from A to B" This is all that matters. It doesn't matter if it is a Ford, Chevy, Dodge, or some other kind.

The first time I heard this song I teared up. Then Craig came in concert at a venue I used to work at for many years and I heard it live. It was shortly after this songs release. During sound check it was hard to hide emotion, the song hits so many in the heart especially me. Hearing him put the emotion of song out there live, even during sound check gave me goose bumps. I never got the chance to say thank you for that moment, so THANK YOU Craig, I use this song for motivation every time I find myself getting down about any BS in my life or day to day, its FAMILY, that comes first, Its FAMILY that drives me and its this song that really makes me feel the FAMILY man in me. Just wanted to share my thoughts.
i am a young dad i am only 19 and i am trying so hard to make ends come together and i love my lil family so much with out them i will fall a part i thank god every day
this is such a beautiful song. This is the first time mum and me have heard it and we are both sitting here crying thinking of my daddy and how hard he works for us and everything he does. Great song craig... hugs all the way from australia
This man is a rising star, he'll be one to set some records! He's got an amazing voice and shows he loves what he does. I went and seen him in Louisa, I was so excited. I've watched him on GAC & CMT and always hoped I'd get to meet him and I did! Best thing about it is, I got a picture, I know he ook several so he'll never remember but that's a memory to be forever lasting in my world! :) I love you Craig Campbell!!!!
I played this for my wife in 2011 when I was working 18hour doubles. Tears but she had no idea how much I missed my family. It may be a job to some but its your heart and soul to others.
Thanks again brother. We must bring the family back and children first. Good real country music is a good start. Keep those fishing poles ready. I miss home, it's croppie season and boy do they fight and good eating. Blessings
This song never fails to bring me to tears. My significant other is in Afghanistan right now as a contractor helping the military maintain their computers. This song I can say from my heart is dedicated to him. He has made sacrifices above and beyond as a man to provide for his family and I love him with all my heart for that. He is and will always be me and our children's "Family Man"
On my way to my first FRG training for the 381st out of Plymouth, IN this morning, my youngest daughter sent me a text from her drill in Indy, It stated, "You need to listen to the song, Family Man. It reminded me of you even though you're not a man....lol" I just listened to this song, thanks Kaydi! Your mom is glad to know you now realize what my family has always meant to me! I love you!
i know how this. my dad was a farmer till i was about 13. we were dirt floor poor but always had food and a roof over our heads. He has been the biggest part of my life besides my loving wife. I work in a factory for next to nothin but make sure i get up everyday to support her and our soon to be son. I just hope people realize you dont have to be rich to have a good life. your family love and a place to call home is all you need.
One of the very best Country singers there is. Craig is one of the most underappreciated artists. Country is swinging back around. He needs to re-release this on his 3rd album along with the beautiful Outskirts of Heaven and his cover of Royals.
This song reminds me of my dad. My dad has always worked hard to support me my mom and my sister. He's been a welder all his life but he has always made sure we had everything we needed. My dad is a great man. He's always done the best he could for us.
This song says it all, My dad has and still has worked hard his all life, he's never asked for much or exspected anything more from anyone other than respect. The dreams he has put aside to give me and my brother and sister a better life is a debt that can never be repaid. Money will never ever buy what he has instilled and carved into our character as people. When you will give up the betterment of yourself to provide for others is something I'll pass into my family, Thanks dad
when i first heard this song I was with my grandfather. once I listened to this more my dad heard it and at my grandfathers funeral we played this song. My dad loves this song and it reminds him of my grandfather. I played this on fathers day for my dad and told him just being a father is enough for me. I love you dad and grandfather.
My wife has stood by me for 10 years and never let me fail. Now we have 3 wonderful Kids. I love be a family man this song hits every time I hear it. Thank you god for my family.
This song reminds me of my dad. Always working! When he would come home he would always have time for me and my siblings. I am an adult now and he still is the greatest dad and husband in the world. I love him with all my heart and could never ask for a better DAD!
its ppl like your husband who make it possible for us to be free and enjoy wat we have...many of the ppl that are over seas are heros in my eyes..so thank you to your husband for standing by for the country...thank you for being a supportive wife it must take alot but i am proud
I first heard this song a couple weeks ago on the radio and instantly downloaded it from the iTunes store onto my iPhone! Love it! Also downloaded this video. And yes us farmers can have and use fancy technology too.
I love this song. I'm currently stationed overseas with the Air Force and this song describes why I do what I do. My family is my drive behind my coming home.
It doesn't matter what nationality you are. Country music comes from the heart. One song that a local country radio station played during the Veterans Day weekend almost caused me to wreck my car. The song was "More Than A Name On The Wall" by the Statler Brothers
This song is me right now, working 2 jobs have a newborn son and a great friend who always makes me happy to see her at the end of the day and she has made us a happy family.
My Dad is just another of the untold men who was and is a classic "Family Man" Proud to try and walk in his shoes, the way he filled his own Father's so honorably.
Reminds me of my husband. Love him so much, he works so hard to bring money home to support the 7 of us. N I do my share at home with the kids and try hard to show appreciation to. So very blessed❤
reminds me of my dad 53 steel in leg and arm but still works through all that pain hes the kind man i hope to be one day love you dad thank you for all you do
This is a great song to keep the average family man going in life or the one looking to start a family. Craig keep up the good work you've got a great song that has a lot of meaning. Everyone should have at least a little country in life.
My dad retired from the lead mechanic at a school bus garage about 3 years ago. he is now 60 years old. He always woke up at around 4:00 to make sure that i got to school ok. He worked for 29 straight years in the same garage. He suffered from nerve damage in his back and his toes. He is the strongest man I know. Even though he's retired he still wakes up at around 5:00 to make sure I get to school ok. He still works hard to keep the vehicles runnin with no charge. God Bless you dad. i love you.
my dad is a trucker i only get to see him once a month but that makes the time i spend with him more special and i would miss anything to spend more time with him love dad and miss you see you next month:)
This song first played on the radio. When my wife was on her way to plan her father funeral and she said he made that song special for her dad. It described him to the T. And she wants to thank Craig Campbell. For the special song Apirl 2,2011. It helps her yet today to deal with lossing him. She is the only living daughter he had. And she is a daddy's girl will always and forever. THANK YOU CRAIG CAMPBELL FOR EVERYTHING😥😥
Im 17 Years old and have lived on my own since i was 12. My Grandparents raised Me.My Grandma had breast cancer and being the oldest grandson i took care o her and She taught me how to Fish,Hunt and Even shot a gun. Her and i were in a car accident in 2005.At 10 years old i lost the most inportant person in my life. She Raised me to be ah Family Man and Im proud of Everything she taught me. Everything Happens In Life for A Reason Even When it hurts The Most in your life. It makes you a man
Videos like this make we wish i was country. I always wanted to be but grew up in the cities. One day i made i promise to myself that i would own a Ranch and live a true and faithful country life.
One of IF not the greatest Country song I have ever heard. This guy has got a God given beautiful voice. I've got a feeling Mr. Craig Campbell is going to be a famous country star someday.
I love this song!! Every time I hear it I tear up because my husband is away at work a lot! The lyrics of this song are what he's always told me to keep my head held high! I love it!❤️
I never comment on videos but my brother had me listen to this. While I'm only 20 and don't have a family I've helped my father every single summer working construction and doing side jobs while all my other friends go to the beach, I drive a 175k mile car, and work every day I don't have college classes while paying for my own schooling. A lot of my friends don't understand because I'm from Long Island not too many country folk round here and basically they get everything given to them.
This song goes out to my dad, my brother, my grandpa, and every father out there who puts their nose to the grindstone for the good of their family every day
this song fits my husband to a T...he works so hard for me and our 3 kids and so that i can live my dream of being a stay at home mom. he still even leaves me love letters so that i find them in the morning. i am truely blessed. I Love you Baby.
This song reminds me of my husband. My babe works in the oilfields for weeks at a time. He works so hard to make sure we have everything we need. His hard work allows me to stay home and focus on finishing my education without having to work. I will never be able to express how much I appreciate how hard he works to keep us a float. We don't have any kids yet, but I know he will be a great father when the time comes.
life is hard, but a real man, a real family man will always do what it takes to keep the family safe, and happy for as long as the Lord will let him.

This is what music is about. Not this rap crap. Sing it like a true man. Country all the way.
New country is basically rap. It really sucks. There aren't many guys making music like craig right now.
WE NEED MORE COUNTRY LIKE THIS!

It’s hard for anyone not in a family man’s shoes to realize the weight that bares on a man’s shoulders to provide for his family !
Love this song!!!!this is my fav country song!!!
This is a great song to keep the average family man going in life or the one looking to start a family. Craig keep up the good work you've got a great song that has a lot of meaning. Everyone should have at least a little country in life.
i dont care what ppl say this is what Country Music is about. Way to go craig
Oh. my gosh. I just can't get enough of this song. It's freakkking AMAZING. Really makes me think about life. it almost makes me want to cryy.
I love everything about this song forever so sweet always ♥️🎸💯
A family man is not a family man without the support of his loving wife. Great song Campbell!!

God bless all the working family men
This song goes out to my dad, my brother, my grandpa, and every father out there who puts their nose to the grindstone for the good of their family every day
Amazing song for all the true men out there the family men.. Stay strong
this song fits my husband to a T...he works so hard for me and our 3 kids and so that i can live my dream of being a stay at home mom. he still even leaves me love letters so that i find them in the morning. i am truely blessed.
We don't have any kids yet, but I know he will be a great father when the time comes.
this song is just simply amazing.
I am a United States Navy Sailor. This song is helping me through a tough time. I love my wife and two children. Here's for you Austin and Peyton
What a well-written song!! Thank you guys.
I love this song. It gets me thinking of how much I love my family.
