Hi tamara! Yes due the pandemic lots of products from China were in shortage that’s why chanel ran out of chains. And another thing i noticed your bags are storaged really closed to each other, it’s important that you have air circulation between them and check often if they are ok, once it can grow mold or other nasty things due humidity etc.
Wear again your Chanels Tamara, your style might evolve but I can totally see you with the camellia rose gold bag or the boys. And nowadays that boys aren't anymore on trend it looks super good and cool when i see a girl in the streets celebrating that style of bag. Also im really happy to see that you still keeping the PCV pearl handle bag and camellia one, due those ones are one of a kind:)
My favourite Chanel bag is the XXL flap I'm obsessed with it and so happy you still have it!!! Also the lavendar outfit is so cute and so you!!

I bought the blue/pink CF with iridescent hardware and the white CF! Purchased them in beginning of 2021, right after Christmas. I love both bags so much. It’s crazy how much it’s gone up now. I have worn the white one so much! It’s a fun bag.

LUSTING over everything! Felt so lucky to purchase a beige classic last year before the price hike. I said “no more for the next decade!” But this video now making me want to build my collection more 😭 😆
My favorites are the olive green classic flap, the Chanel XXL [so happy to hear this one was not taken!!!], and that blush colored boy bag! I love silver hardware - I like the edginess it gives certain bags. This was a cool video for me because I only discovered you about a one or two years ago, so a lot of these bags I had never seen before!

Nice to see you again in the usual British surroundings, especially for some of us who have been following you for years! I do believe that the Chanel Boy bag has been over saturated, but the beige/creamy one you have is pure perfection! The iridescent classic flap with the unicorn hardware is absolutely amazing and I do remember how excited you were for this acquisition especially after the tragic incident of the robbery. For me any classic Chanel even the jumbo one is a worthy investment. However, the pieces have escalated dramatically and for the life of me I cannot fathom why. Perhaps, the house would like to reach the standards of Hermès and there is a deliberate attempt to make their products less feasible. Whatever their strategy, the house is emblematic! I sincerely hope you will be able to add some more classics to your current collection Tamara!
Love this video! I find Chanel handbag collection videos so much more interesting than Hermes! More variety in color, shape, size, material, style etc. BTW your tweed Gabrielle looks so nice with your red VCA jewelery 👌🏼

The size difference is due to the actual size difference. The blue bag is a size SMALL, the green one is a size MEDIUM. 💙💚

You should so take back to Milan that maxi tweed c19 - since you sadly lost the black xxl.. so stunning and a similar size if not style ! And the Gabrielle is cool because it can never go out of style as much as others because it never got as popular.. the many ways of wearing it are really cool. And I think you should wear that small boy as a Hand held with the chain tucked in - edgy and not running after the latest trend. I think with on trend clothing that could be really cool !

So glad you’re building up your collection again. All just beautiful. Just wondering, is the blue classic flap a small size? There are 7 full quilts across which I think is what smalls have. Regardless it’s a beauty! You’re right, the price of the classic flaps has gone up a lot, so it would have to be a great color for me to consider any more. Happy new year!

Tamara, my Chanel SA gave me a little clip to shorten the chain on my mini flap. It came in a little chanel pouch so it's an official product. It is like tying it up on the inside
I have the dupes from Amazon. They come in all the metals. Did not know Chanel offered those. What is the price, if you don’t mind my asking? Sounds like you got yours free?

I was looking at a gorgeous, very expensive mini flap on display and I mentioned that I wear my mini flap with the chain rapped round the flap to make it shorter and my SA pulled it out of her bag and gave it to me. It's interesting because I didn't get my mini flap from the shop, I got it on vestiare collective. Also I am not a big spender (by Chanel standards) I only buy slgs as I love them more than the bags and I have to consider my budget. I am in England, I don't know if they have them anywhere else. They do come in silver or gold colours.
They are around £8 on eBay or Amazon.
