Yall northern folks are built differently!! If it was snowing my booty wouldn't be outside to cook!! Here in SE Virginia we don't get much snow, though. Sending love yalls way!
Volunteering at The Food Pantry gives children that warm, wonderful feeling of helping others while blessing your community. A lesson that can't be taught in a book & a feeling that can't be described with words. Hero Mom Status
Hi Jennifer, Warren and sweet family! Warren is so sweet and thoughtful to get your coffee and help cook. All your meals looked delicious. I think it’s a wonderful way to help people that need it. Volunteering at the food pantry is really a blessing to everyone. Have a blessed night everyone!
I just wanted to say I really love watching your videos. I am about your oldest childs age and your videos just make me feel like I'm cooking at home with my own mom. I have kids of my own now and I pray that they will have good memories of cooking with me when they get older.
I'm Polish so I appreciated the Polka music!! And I call potato pancakes, potato placki. My father is all Polish but my Mother was of Russian- Jewish decent and she called them potato latkes. I live in Ohio and went out to eat with some friends years ago and one friend ordered a side of potato pancakes. I was shocked when I saw fried mashed potatoes!! I had never seen that before. Lol. I was thinking to myself....those are NOT potato pancakes! I don't remember our conversations that day or anything else. I couldn't get past staring at those "pancakes." 😂
I never get tired of seeing the views of the ice and snow covered trees. It's so pretty, and something i don't see in Central Texas. As always, your videos are a pleasure to watch. Thanks for sharing.
When I see you making food using that Tupperware bowl with the handle I chuckle I have the same one that I bought at a garage sale for 25 cents and love it
I never heard of this kind of “potato pancakes”. I grew up in Southeastern PA in German heritage country- Lancaster County. Potato pancakes were made with leftover mashed potatoes. Yum.
I really love love loved this vlog. I loved the love in your voices. We are Catholic too and go to early mass to eat brunch. The recipes looked wonderful and the scenery just postcard perfect. Love your joy. From Indiana.
Wow you are so brave to leave your oven on when you're not in the house I am sorry to say that I could never do that I can't even leave a Crock-Pot or rice cooker on I know that defeats the purpose but I was just raised that way my dad was a fireman LOL
Hey Jennifer, always love seeing your delicious meals. I love to buy meat in bulk. Spend today, save on plenty tomorrows! I'm like you. It can become daunting doing all the online things. I do because I ilke to save money!😀 The surprise ball sounds awesome!
I wanted you to know I made your crockpot chicken pasta dinner tonight. I didn’t have time to use the crockpot so I cooked the chicken all the way and added broccoli, pasta and cheese on top using your sauce recipe and put it in the oven covered for 35 mins, added the cheese and broiled for 4 mins. It was delicious 😋 Thanks for sharing.
Hi Jennifer And Warren I just love watching you cook and meals for Your Family workers Who help you all God bless and be with you all 🙏🏻✝️☮️📿🌹💐❤️💜💗🌺💕💙🎅🎄🤶🙏🏻
Try using same amount of chicken , 1 large jar of salsa from Aldi and 1 block of cream cheese and pkg of taco seasoning or 2 tablespoons of Sissy's Secret Spices taco or texmex. Makes a enchilada chicken serve with tortillas
Thanks for sharing part of your lives with others throughout our world via You Tube and Social Media. You are a beautiful family and very inspiring and entertaining! Thank you! I found You Tube and your wonderful channel a few years ago. It is like chatting with a great, precious friend. Thank you! What you share has helped me over come my anxiety. I love watching your channel when I might be feeling a little overwhelmed from having anxiety about different things, needing some mama time, doing household chores, cooking for our precious family of four and needing recipe and meal inspiration and or just wanting to relax a little. I look forward to seeing what God has for your channel in 2024. Much love, prayers and God Bless for CHRISTmas and the New Year from our family to yours from Australia. xxx
What a beautiful Sunday morning. A delicious breakfast and a ride in the snow! The polkas remind me of my childhood. My parents always listened to polkas on the radio on Sundays. Btw, we grill in the winter too!
Hello, very good grocery haul. All of the dishes you made looks so delicious especially the hamburgers and breakfast!!!!! You and Warren made a fantastic breakfast. 😊🙏🏻❤️ Ms. Ruby
Just wondered if you've ever used a Foodsaver machine? It really does help keep things fresher in freezer. I used some chuck roasts from the freezer from a sale in 2020 and they were in perfect shape.
Ihave done a surprise ball and put something special in the middle but we use plastic wrap and go around putting in candy etc..make the large ball…then using a pot holder glove each person gets the change and timed to unwrap the ball the person that can get the ball unwrapped within the 30 second time frame keeps the surprise in the middle I have often put a money gift card in the middle.
Always enjoy your cooking videos and loved that Warren got some air time in this one! The potato pancakes looked delicious, I’ve been wanting to try that recipe for awhile.
When I was homeschooling my six youngest we also volunteered at the food pantry up the street from us. It was wonderful for us and the clients. The kids also usually had snacks they were given to take home.
I roasted my turkey overnight using the slow temp method. I started my turkey the night before at 300 degrees for one hour then turned my roaster down to 200 degrees and left it overnight. When I woke up at 7 am, it did not smell the turkey and I panicked . But when I checked it, it was completely cooked. It was very easy and perfectly cooked. Love the Polka music! We also for at least an hour before Mass. When I was a girl, we had to fast for 3 hours …when my Mom was young, they tasted from midnight… so 1 hour is not much!
I cook my turkey the same way, but in my oven in a blue roaster pan with a lid. Falls off the bones tender. I take all the meat off the bones right away as it is so easy when the meat is still warm. Bones for bone broth too.
Great minds think alike :-) I did the same thing with our leftover turkey. We had hot open faced sandwiches with ours, cranberries on the side...delish.
The turkey and gravy looks yummy to me! When you do rice in the instant pot, you should use a 1 to 1 ratio of rice to water. It will give you nice firm rice that is cooked thru similar to the texture you get at a Chinese restaurant. Also, IDK how long the rice button cooks for, but I use 6 minutes and a natural release. Hope you all are having a nice Advent.
Hi Jennifer. Have you heard the song by Justin Moore called “This is my dirt” it’s a good one. Warren is the only farmer I “know” lol and it made me think of him.
So great that you're teaching your kids to serve others. ❤ When I make gravy I pour the liquid in all at once while whisking. It always turns out great!
Black stone-my husband uses the kitchen bench scrappers from dollar tree to block the fire from cold and wind. if you have one that has a slight open to fire. He bought several and just lines them up in front fire. I can send a pic if you want.. btw love your channel. The kids are getting so big
I took all the rest of my turkey meat and canned it up. Mostly in smaller jars to use for chicken spagetti etc. So handy to have on hand. Turkey sandwiches, just open a jar.
I looked into Azure and their prices are really high to me. Plus you have to make sure you are available for their delivery date and time. Too much hassle and expense.
Warren, I want to do the same thing when I see someone cooking or washing dishes with long sleeves like that. I'm so cold natured I've tried to leave my sleeves down in the winter while cooking, but I just can't! 😅
I find that cooking rice using the rice button cooks it too much. I like rinsing the rice and then hit the pressure cook button for only 3 minutes and then doing a natural release for 10 min then fluff with a fork. I used 1 cup rice to 1 cup water ratio. Have a blessed week
I've noticed that rice becomes sticky when you rinse it before cooking. Perhaps I it's the variety, some rice is meant to be more sticky like sushi rice. I use long grain or jasmine and don't have an issue usually.
You are such a good cook and a hardworking mom but I can't brlieve you serve your family instant potatoes. they are a poor sub for real potatoes. They even look fake and wishy washy
I grew up on traditional mashed potatoes but my husband grew up on instant and he prefers them. I make instant all the time now. I "doctor" them up but they're delicious. No one ever complains. We are just thankful for food.
It's nice that Warren says those 3 little romantic words first thing in the morning: "Here's your coffee."

Jennifer, Maria looks just like you❤❤❤

My Nana and mom used to make potatoe pancakes with leftover mashed potatoes. We looked forward to them especially after big holiday meals
Beautiful view and wonderful polka music 🥰

We love our black stone too. Perfect for big families.
Yes the little cash back and rewards can add up especially now
So glad you got your card. Truly enjoy your family and videos!
Santa needs to bring you a Food Saver! No freezer burn!
Yum.
Those burgers looked SO GOOD. Like something you’d get in a diner! 😋
We also have snow in Sweden. So beutiful.❤☃️❄️
I don't know how you can get up early and start cooking right away, you must be Wonder Woman 😂
I actually like the quietness of the early morning. 😀
Warren and Jennifer the snow looks so beautiful on your Grounds Your Family is a blessing from God our Heavenly Father 🙏🏻✝️☮️📿🎅🎄🤶💗❤️🌹💙💙🌺💜💐🍀🙏🏻✝️
Our church does a food pantry each month as well. It truly is humbling.

😊. My grandparents in Minnesota always played Polka music and would go Polka dancing. This brought back memories thank you for sharing. ❤😊

Your winter wonderland is beautiful!!
It really is! Thank you 😊

That snow is beautiful!!!!! Love spending time in your kitchen!
that surprise ball is a great idea, definitely going to do, thank you 😊
Me too!

Great video, I loved all the meals you showed, the chicken and pasta one I am going to try, God bless all.

My husband purees potatoes to make potato pancakes 😂
Oh wow! I bet they’re good.
I made grandmas oven fried chicken last night. My toddlers couldn't get enough! That means it will be a staple around here now.
Great minds think alike :-) I did the same thing with our leftover turkey. We had hot open faced sandwiches with ours, cranberries on the side...delish.

It makes me home sick I'm from WI and I miss it dearly
Maybe it’s time for a visit. 🙂
Love your videos!

Next time put chicken in a bowl and sprinkle seasoning and rub all together to evenly coat with seasoning.
I took all the rest of my turkey meat and canned it up. Mostly in smaller jars to use for chicken spagetti etc. So handy to have on hand. Turkey sandwiches, just open a jar.
When using the instant pot the water to rice ratio is equal. Equal parts water and rice, then it won’t be so sticky.
I looked into Azure and their prices are really high to me. Plus you have to make sure you are available for their delivery date and time. Too much hassle and expense.
Good to know. Thanks.

I grew up on real potatoes and would give up potatoes if I had to eat instant. World of difference.
Jennifer, you must try Spatchcock Chicken. It's Juicy and delicious.
❤❤❤❤❤
The Mott's gummies don't have artificial colors 😊
April!!! Hello 👋 thanks for that tip.
How do you find a meat processing place that would offer bulk orders like this?
It says on her box, Koch Foods. I’d try googling it wherever you live.
Nummy
How many deer does Warren put in the freezer?
This year we put five deer in the freezer.
Does turkey taste like chicken. Turkey is not so popular where I live.
Similar, but it has its own flavor. Hard to explain.
You are such a good cook and a hardworking mom but I can't brlieve you serve your family instant potatoes. they are a poor sub for real potatoes. They even look fake and wishy washy
Everyone likes something different Mary.
I grew up on traditional mashed potatoes but my husband grew up on instant and he prefers them. I make instant all the time now. I "doctor" them up but they're delicious. No one ever complains. We are just thankful for food.
