Every pastel stroke you make, appears so right. Even in the very beginning of the painting, I see the final result emerging. Thanks a lot for the videos!
Man, you've got so many colors, LOL! I wish soft pastel wasn't so expensive to get quality soft pastels. Ive spent a few hundred $$$ and seems like I really dont have much, LOL. I mean a full set of good softies starts at at least $1000!!!
Hi Alain.. I love your videos and your pace.. i have learned so much.. you mentioned that you mount the paper on the board.. what board do u use and what do u use to mount it? thx..
We believe Alain mounts UART paper on gator board. We have a full line of mounted boards available if you prefer not to mount the paper yourself: uartpastelpaper.com/products/premium-mounted-boards/
Love your videos and generous instruction! Quick question on the mineral spirits, you mentioned using turpentine, as an oil painter We use turoenoid , would this be fine to use or the same thing or is turpentine a better choice? Continued well wishes shooting your way, Tracy; @anonymous.palette

Your videos are outstanding. Thank you. I am now a convert to underpainting; tried it this week and it's worth the extra work.

How do you mount the UART paper to the gatorboard? Do you use spray glue or gesso or another form of adhesive?

Hi what is Gater Foam ?
Gator board is an inexpensive board that one can mount eg watercolor paper or pastel paper on. Any art supply store will have it or something close.
