Yeah i Don't do much of anything anymore either. Just youtube and I'm even bored of that. I just have a feeling of picking up a backpack and walking off into the world and see where it takes me.
Yes i have the same empty feeling. It's like the end of history. We have too much stuff everything has become so boring.

I can feel myself loosing interest in games the last year. I had more time to play, but also more time to think. I'll play nonstopon all my off time, ignoring all my other interests/hobbies and then after a few months I'd get tired of it and go cold turkey for a month. But this trend is getting shorter in length every time, it's to the point where I will play for a week or two then one day open my system,stare at one of the main menu screens of my games then just close it and go watch or do something.
Idk man I just imagine if I out all those years if gaming into something that would create real value, whether financially, spiritually or phsyically.
I agree with gaming; now that I’m 30 years old, I don’t desire to keep playing, especially now that my old friends have families and careers now. It’s a part of growing older, I guess.
I’m also 30 & in the exact same place as you now , but don’t go down that marriage routine brother , unless it’s the desire to reproduce children but don’t do it for the wife

I was gamer for most of my life but at 19 I quit cold turkey ( 23 now) and havent looked back since. I dont watch movies or netflix series or anything related. My hobbies are creating art and sometimes reading

I am looking for videos like this, supposedly, it's rare to find some.
I've got a PS4 and a Switch.
I use the Switch maybe once a week for an hour or so and even that might be twice a month.
The PS4 is literally just for the media apps.
I haven't actually gamed on it since mid March (it's mid June now).
I guess it's my work and my friends and my gf and her kid.
It's just not appealing to me.
If I'm going to sit down, I'll write a book or maybe watch a movie with her and just enjoy being with her.
She doesn't game and I'm glad.
I dated someone who did and she was only competitive with gaming and it made me not want to do that with her.

But your priorities can shift at any age.
It's understandable. Most people I know that still play video games tend to prefer Steam instead of PSN, Nintendo, or XBOX Live. One of the main reasons I am drifting away from classic turn based JRPGS is because they are just too time consuming. I still like to play video games, but I'm only sticking with the PS Vita throughout this decade. I don't see myself having enough free time to get on Steam or a PS5. Once you start working, you have more responsibilities and obligations.
idk honestly last week like I feel like I woke to the fact that video games aren't fun for me anymore like they were in highschool like I love video games cause they got me off drugs but im 19 now and all I do now when it comes to video games is go for all the achievements and that used to be fun but now after a long day of trade school I just find that activity frustrating like idk life has been weird lately for me maybe I might get into like nature stuff since I live in nj now and not the city anymore idk who knows :/

I'm with you about the games being a waste of time. However, I can understand why Cartoon Wife enjoys the game with Rorie. It is quality time with her daughter before she gets to the age when her parents are no longer her main priority. My Dad played Monopoly and Checkers with me.
I have more days that i dont game at all anymore and i dont know why that is. its not because life itself has more value because earlier i was a real heavy writer and wrote like one chapter a day from my working novels and now i even struggle with thousand words. i dont like drawing anymore as well as playing guitar wich i already stopped since years. but yeah, gaming, not so much anymore. the most what i do in my life is watching youtubevideos or watch a movie, a lot of walking as well and lots of comfort eating and just doing nothing all day. also tried No Fap though failed every single time, since there is nothing else to do, other than just watch youtube or reading a book and even reading is not that fun anymore. i feel like its just depression, but yeah, lost the intrest in games as well.
my life has no purpose anymore, thats also something. no purpose in life. so gaming is like just a waste of time since i grow very bored very fast and even youtube is boring but i watch it anyway to pass the time. and watching a movie can be hard when i have a lot of stress and have a bad day...i feel like crap everyday. so its not because i want to live life, but because i feel depressed that i dont play video games that much anymore.

Hey Sam! My husband and I are hooked on the 90 day fiancé series! We’re now on the 90 days before the 90 days. It’s so addictive!!! But we only watch it together when my husband isn’t playing video games! 😒😑😩
Right now my fav couple is Angela and Michael.
Arizona Living when she dressed him up in Trump gear! 🤦🏻♀️ and then he tells the shop girl she needs a bigger dress because she’s fat. 🤦🏻♀️ they are a mess! I also enjoy watching Darcey and Jesse with their drama too! Jesse reminds me of the Dutch version of Patrick Bateman from American Psycho.

Played video games since Donkey Kong at Safeway in 1981. Loved arcades, Chuck E. Cheese, Atari/NES, etc. I've slowly lost interest over the past 10 years, buying less games for each successive console. I just don't enjoy it anymore. No plans to buy a PS5.
your not missing anything from the ps5 things have only got more corporate and more souless in production
