those early non-Powerstroke and Powerstroke 7.3s are on par with the 12/24 valve p-pumped Cummins 5.9...... built like a freakin tank and pulls like a freight train
My favorite year of the 7.3 is 95 that's what I got things a monster never seen a truck that could out pull it man my personal opinion 7.3 is king but them old IDI's were a different kind of tough aswell lol
@@garretshampine8511 my grandfather still has his ‘94 IDI-Turbo 7.3 - 282,000 original miles..... believe me I know how rare and how powerful those trucks are lol
1: Because the trucks may be pulling left and right while putting that power down, making the driver counter steer. 2: To try and keep out of tracks from other trucks and stay on fresher ground.
Its funny to see that people start making excuses for their favourite brand, or making fun of other brands, but none of these were stock. Closest to stock was a couple of the 2nd gens.
@@BUILTDIESELMAFIA I understand what work stock is, I am saying when they are modified you can't start using that as the baseline for why your favourite brand is better than others. Obviously how much you can tune a truck matters, and a 12v cummins is great for that, but most of these people are talking like the trucks were bone stock. There was someone even saying that 7.3's were super good at towing, which isn't true, they were great trucks, just not at towing without serious mods. I am sorry for the misunderstanding, and I hope this clears it up a little bit.
@@sloughsharkseh3307 no worries i get what you're saying. Yeah definitely a big difference comparing modified trucks to stock ones for sure. And yeah agree with the 7.3 its reputation really isnt earned.
I think I saw what I'd call four stock pullers including the Allis Chalmers. The black ford looked like it got lost from the parking lot and someone hooked it up for a half decent pull.
So work stock doesnt indicate they are stock much like super stock doesnt. However these trucks are very close. You can run a turbo ul to 2.55 which isnt big at all. You have to have factory chassis and all that. Insurance. Registration. Basically a bolt on class.
And here is the duramax 32608...oh hey how ya doin...oh I'm sorry, that's not a duramax...oh hey, thanks for coming. I'm waiting for the announcer to order a pizza..pizza guy, hold on, it a duramax 32608 powerstroke. Lol..OMG
Lol More dodges broke and dnf. The Fords were actually stock and didn't have extra bumper weights. And still competed in the top 10. I think you have an issue with being blind as a bat.
@@warphonesS22 hey buddy, you must understand most of those dodges were 2nd gen rusty which arent bad just more prone to breaking where as the fords were mostly newer. Now if they were stock that just proves that 1 of 10 are okay to go, the other 9 are garbage.
0:07 the kid fell off the retaining wall when the truck spooled up lmao
Again at 9:46
Again at 0:36
Omg😂
Bro kept on falling lmao
Lmfao
I did this sport for about four or five years and I've never ever seen such awesome skills
What did u drive?
Well I think several of these trucks caught a ride home on a rollback... Jeep their mechanics busy following week for sure.
Definitely. Good thing most came in on trailers lol broke probably 8 trucks.
Wow that would not be good on a pocket book. Thanks for posting enjoyed watching.
0:36 Dude: Oh hi Sara how’s it goin?
Ford: Not well.

Chevys breakdown to seen it happen

It dodnt sound like a 7.3 but at least it sounded like, if it was swapped that is, with a other powerstroke
What's with all the clapped rusted 2nd gens🤣🤣
Pick them up cheap.
Plus 2nd gens were quite reliable and easy to tune up for towing.
Wish we had em up here as clean as the ones in this vid 😂
Whoop just saw 3:48. Either way still a $5000 truck here 😂
It don’t help that the Midwest’s roads are partially made of frame rotting acid for a good part of the year
I came here for that thumbnail. Got a truck just like it
When the window comes down at the end of the run.
Who’s expecting bad ass mullets??
Lol @ 3:57 that Cummins up in smoke.
no grease-able u joints! Solid spicer joints
The truck at 3:42, is on the rust belts weight reduction program.
I see more cummins explode than anything else every time I watch one of these
Only saw one stock truck. And no extra weights on front. And still pulled just as far or father than anyone else. Go Ford!
Stock my ass
Work stock doesn’t mean stock truck
The black 450 looks nice with concaved rims
The kid falling as the 450 took off
It's harder than it looks
Anyone else notice the kid falling off the jersey wall at the 0:09 sec mark
Lol nope but i see it now

This video is awesome and the best
What was the weight that they were pulling
Why do they move the steering wheel back and forth ? They are supposed to go straight aren't they?
1: Because the trucks may be pulling left and right while putting that power down, making the driver counter steer.
2: To try and keep out of tracks from other trucks and stay on fresher ground.
Whistling Diesel can show you guys how to mess up a truck.
And his wife can show you.l.

How much are they pulling i am new to thix
That varys from event to event and class to class but generally speaking between 30k and 40k pounds.
All of it
No numbers? Length of the pulls?
Nope. First time down there don't know these guys and theres no way to identify them. Sorry q
What are the rules for this class?

Leave the towing to the Cummins.

That Cummins with all stuff on it with purple cab lights should not be in this class I don’t think
