Love this one too Danny. Thanks again to you and your team for coming out and making such a beautiful story about what we are doing here in Kenya. Hope you come back for pt2 soon
The best way to describe your BTS is like having the B-Side of a track but its just as good as the A-side. Always great insights into what you do with these projects, really shows what is capable with the absoloute minimum of setups love it!!
@@DannyGevirtz ALSO ALSO, I’d love to see an updated coloring video from you and how you approach it. Cuz I believe you’re in Davinci now too ye? All love!
I just kept smiling as you narrated. The UA-cam video about the film also sounds and feels like a documentary. Your work is inspirational!! Keep going.
Not only yours sir, its definitely my favorite short documentary as well - thank you for taking us though this journey 😊 - Dude after watching the whole thing, it was such a learning experience, how you shot it and the interview setup. I wish I would be able to accompany you on on of this adventures to be just a fly on the wall, carry the bottles, change the lens caps just to absorb it all - Super inspired man.
This is beautiful Danny. I love the visual aesthetic of the story, this behind the scene is well put together. I enjoyed watching it as much as the actual story "NALA". I am grateful you brought along my brother, my fellow Uganda Odeke. You inspire a lot of us young African film makers to tell as many Africa stories. Thank you.
Danny i aint got the words u know.... me seeing u doing all these ..... its just LOVE FOR THE GAME, THE GEAR, THE INTERIOR SENSATION ( that feeling ) man u revived me... My name is NUDE ( real name no joke ) I'm a CAmerounian Photographer ( mostly weddings ) and seeing u doing this Doc kind of reminded me a lot of that young me 3 years ago with all those ideas and only had a canon 1200D ( T5 ).... 1 week ago I got my EOS R and now I ain't got time.... but still thanks a Million Broooo
I love your ethics, your film style, your color grade. It's such an awesome (ugh that's so overused but you know what I mean) doc and soooooo emotional and intimate. Love you.
Unbelievable how well made this is. After 10 minutes of watching, I decided to make myself some coffee and got all hyped and my mood changed for the better. Really enjoyed seeing you guys rock it. Keep 'em coming.
This is the most exciting thing I have watched today, seeing you Danny in my home town, Nyahururu, where I was born and brought up shooting in the stadium I have grown up playing basketball, it wouldn't have dawned to me as a subscriber and a lover of your work that one day you would be in my home town, this is just an amazing opportunity for those girls have gotten to showcase what they do and having it documented. Thanks Danny for that, it's inspirational and welcome back.
I got so pumped when you were talking about the shots at the beginning during sunrise. It's just all around the best feeling in the world to have an experience like this as a creator. Seriously you create the best filmmaking content on UA-cam. Love you Danny. Over the years I've grown out of many artists I use to love, you are the one that I relate to the most because you are following your curiosity and your heart. It's amazing to see. Keep creating man.
