I think the guy could’ve made his point about the avocados more clear 😂 but California is a HUGE producer of the fruit. I live on the east coast, and there is a noticeable difference in the avocados I’ve had at home and out in California. Idk if it has to do with climate, shipping, etc. but there is a difference, especially if you care about the details like that guy seems to, so I can imagine there’s definitely a quality difference in the UK. Probably nothing that would bother a normal person though, so idk haha The issue also probably lies in not just the quality, but the QUANTITY of how many quality avocados he needed. We’re talking hundreds of HUGE people to feed, and he clearly doesn’t want to cut quality value, so that’s probably why it seemed like a good example to him.
I grew up in California eating avocados and was surprised when I moved to another part of the country where people barely at them and had never had guacamole
@@FSSNZ To be far although avocados can be a bit bland although I like that nutty taste. Daz did state he found guacamole bland which if prepared correctly is anything but bland.
Hey guys, went to the Seahawks game in London a few years back and had a great time. I am doing the same for the Germany game this year. Was genuinely surprised to see how many Europeans love the NFL.
FYI: The current training camp facility for the LA Rams in Thousand Oaks, California, used to be the old Dallas Cowboys training camp. I grew up across the street.
One of the main reasons they wouldn't store things over there on a permanent basis is because it's a different team that goes over there every year. Each team has their own method to the madness. Like this year the Green Bay Packers are going over for the first time ever, my team by the way. The season doesn't stop after an overseas game, the games go on and they all count to the overall record.
They really cant keep equipment over there because the equipment they are referring to is team equipment and the teams do not play in England every year (they switch which teams play). The NFL itself may possibly leave some equipment in England that would make sense.
My Vikings are playing in London this year super excited! Also I don't know if someone has requested this already, but you guys should watch the highlights of the most requested football game every week. There's no better way to learn about football than watching full games, but highlights will make you learn a lot more about it and show how intense some games/rivalries are.
1. As dude said, they don’t want players to feel the difference from regular game. My guess is that they apply that to every possible detail, even down to the packaging of rubbing alcohol, etc. Individually each little detail is insignificant but the add up? 2. NFL prob has contracts with certain vendors/brands and thus cannot use products from other vendors. It’s possible some of those items are not readily available in UK and/or maybe it’s cheaper to ground/boat ship the products from USA then procure them in Uk? 3. If 2 is correct but only for some but not all NFL required game supplies, it might be easiest just to ship everything all together via the same procedure rather than min n match various shipping/procuring methods. They have so much stuff to account for that if they start using a variety of “shipping” methods it likely could get very confusing / increase room for error.
Not speaking from a international legal level. But when I was in Puerrto Rico, I was told that iif they meet is available locally, it muust be used in favor of shipping in foodstuff. So when I was in Yuaco, PR we stopped for lunch, and bowing to the wishes of my wife to eat less beef, I opted for the chicken sandwich. Do I need to see the chicken was local and I infected? I went home and spentt six ddays in the hospital with Camflo-bacter food poisoning... Be careful what you eat when you travel!
Just smashing an avocado doesn't turn it into guacamole. Only saying because Daz said it tasted bland to him. You need to add some salt, lime juice, and a bit of garlic. I also add some chopped pepper and onions.
Worth noting that this video was made when JARED GOFF was still the Rams QB (as you can see in a few clips). Goff was the NFL Quarterback who wore a wig and fake tattoos to prank those young players in the video you reacted to awhile back.

OMG, does this bring back memories! I was the chief engineer for the flagship radio station of the Minnesota Vikings back in 1993. Four of us from the radio station traveled with the team to Berlin for the 1993 American Bowl football game between our home teaam, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Buffalo Bills. You can probably imagine the teechnical requirements of getting a broadcast quality audio feed from Berlin Germany back to Minneapolis Minnesota. But that's why I was there. I had three things to take care of. Meet my Germman engineers counterparts on Monday morning before the game to integrate our equipment with theirs, a coaches show on Thursday evening, andd the game Saturday night. The rest of the time I was a tourist in Berlin. During the game, I got to sit back and explain American football to my German contemporaries. Oh yeah, Minnesota won the game!...
You can tell Daz has done a lot of event planning at some point in his life. It honestly sounds like a total waste to not just source all that stuff locally till he explains it.
No, you can't get the same quality or freshness of avocados in the UK as you can in California or Mexico lol. just like in Kansas someone can't get the same quality or freshness of sashimi as the could in Japan.
I could be wrong, but I believe the generators are for the sidelines during the game. There's a lot of electronics on the sideline that require electricity that couldn't otherwise be used without the generators.
The reason they don't keep just one storage container there is every team has their own way of supplying their team, and it's part of each one's budget. Teams will have many different ways of supplying their players and coaches every Sunday. Labels and packages they're familiar with (medical and such).

A flight from Maryland (east coast) to Hawaii is 11 to 12 hours, that’s definitely further than traveling to the UK. Dave, most NFL teams would not be looking for avocados but it’s just that LA Chargers team is custom to eating that in their diet due to the Mexican influence in their region on the west coast side of the USA.
The generators are for on-the-field equipment. If you go down to the pitch at Wembley or Emirates Stadium or the like you dont just have 100s of electrical sockets strewn about the field. NFL teams have tons of equipment that needs power on their sidelines, from exercise bikes to medical equipment to charging docks for the electronics to fans/space heaters depending, the list goes on. Obviously they know that you guys have electricity, but you cant jsut plug your medical equipment into the grass on the sideline and assume its going to start working.

I was in the hotel reservation business years back. You, never, never ever put an NFL team's cheerleaders in the same hotel as the players. Never. All the ambient temperatures, tailored menus, and soft lighting in the world isn't going to conserve their energy like a bit of forced abstinence. Then you have all the groupies with fake ID's claiming to be some player's wife or sister or something. Then there are the professionals who knock room to room offering their services. The Dallas Cowboys would even set up "party houses" on the road (other cities) full of booze, blow, and blondes.
For the baseball games in London they shipped in dirt from Pennsylvania because ya'll didn't have the right kind of dirt over there. I read they stored the dirt there for future games.
Yeah if you think Guacamole is bland that's PRECISELY why they are like, we need our own Avocados. And guac has lots of chili pepper, lime juice, herbs in it too. Plus if you're in California as this team is, they grow Avocados and so does Mexico. And that influence is also part of the dietary culture. Do they? I’m genuinely clueless about it - but my impression was that they like it. I personally kinda hate those games for no good reason maybe the time they’re on, I dunno 😆.
@@donfette5301 Nope. They hate it. When the schedule is released, and they see they are playing overseas, they are majorly pissed off. Basically for all the reasons explained in the video. Huge pain in the butt.
This video should be shown in a mandatory meeting to all players, so they would have more respect for all the work that gets done behind the scenes that pays for their salaries. The logistics is ridiculous.
A vast majority of athletes are highly appreciative of the behind the scenes staff. Athletes often spend more hours with the strength & conditioning staff and the training staff than they do with their teammates. Most have real close relationships with them.
They seem pretty hung up on the avocado thing so it should be explained that you are talking about getting probably hundreds of avocados. Some hotels cant just pick those up on short notice due to local availability or whatever. Even in the states avocados can be tough to get sometimes or the price fluxuates a lot due to how the grow season went or droughts or whatever. They aren't saying that "ENGLANDI IS ANOTHER PLANET DU TEY HAV AVCADO?!" Relax fellas.
More like thousands of Avocados. That aren't going to be ripe at the right time to impress people living in a region of the world were avocados are an easy dumb reach and it's of exceptional standard. Same with like corn in the midwest. It's monumentally better and sweeter than in other regions. They get really good corn. And maybe in New Orleans there's a staple diet ingredient you need at high standards like shrimp, or oysters, or crawfish. Like i totally get it. Like i've lived all over the country and and some places it's a struggle to get a half decent burrito. Chipotle is considered quality and "Mexican" in some places.
You get Vikings vs Saints (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium) on Oct. 2 (should be a good game). Giants vs. Packers (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium) on Oct 9 (Packers first international game). Finally Broncos vs. Jaguars (Wembley Stadium) on Oct. 30 (I'll watch the highlights of that game).
You guys should do a vid on how much MLB players travel. Then they have to go out every night and try to do the hardest thing in all of sports. Hit a fastball or curveball
Specifically though, this team is in a state, California, that literally grows it's own avocados in addition to getting Mexican ones. It's like expecting someone from Iowa to tolerate mediocre corn or New Orleans to have bland gumbo. You might as well have slapped their momma. lol.
Bro, the NFL is already up to 17 regular season games. The players hate the idea of more games if that's what would happen. They also hate playing overseas.
Individual teams dont travel over there often. While the NFL might play a game over thete a year or whatever. Its not the same team going over there. So it would be silly for lets say the Rams to keep the stuff there if they play there once every 6 years.
I think the only way to make the NFL work in Europe would be to make a North American division and a European division and the winners of both divisions play in the Superbowl. There would be no way that teams could fly back and forth all season long between the two continents.
I know the NFL has its fans in Europe, and this year Munich gets a game, that sold out in minutes, but the NFL doesn't need the money. It doesn't need to expand into any other country. I don't know why they insist on doing it.
As an American from the west coast I think the teams are over blowing the coddling of the players. Like damn man, leave on Tuesday or Wednesday, by Friday they'll be set on London time. There are professional sports franchises in the UK who I am sure would love to make that money helping NFL teams with getting proper nutrition.
One of the problems for the trainers is that a LOT of the players are very young men who don't make great decisions. They have to anticipate all the stupid things that most of us guys did at that age.
Please, react to "Lamar Jackson: Action Jackson" & "Ed Reed: The Ball Hawk". Both videos are created by Joseph Vincent. He puts together really good sports videos.

Congratulations to Mike on his successful transition into a female golfer.
Not just a team, but add EFC conference to NFC & AFC. Then 48 teams vs. 32. Let the regular season go mostly at home regions, playoffs everywhere.
Bro, the NFL is already up to 17 regular season games. The players hate the idea of more games if that's what would happen. They also hate playing overseas.
you guys need to start an office fantasy football league
Individual teams dont travel over there often. While the NFL might play a game over thete a year or whatever. Its not the same team going over there. So it would be silly for lets say the Rams to keep the stuff there if they play there once every 6 years.
I think the only way to make the NFL work in Europe would be to make a North American division and a European division and the winners of both divisions play in the Superbowl. There would be no way that teams could fly back and forth all season long between the two continents.
But where will the talent come from?
I know the NFL has its fans in Europe, and this year Munich gets a game, that sold out in minutes, but the NFL doesn't need the money. It doesn't need to expand into any other country. I don't know why they insist on doing it.
It’s football season fellas. We gotta get y’all to react to some of the big games that happen over the weekend
Especially college football games
As an American from the west coast I think the teams are over blowing the coddling of the players. Like damn man, leave on Tuesday or Wednesday, by Friday they'll be set on London time. There are professional sports franchises in the UK who I am sure would love to make that money helping NFL teams with getting proper nutrition.
Fat chance buying any isopropyl alcohol in the UK without a fricken prescription. We use it for rubbing alcohol.
This will be Green Bay’s first international game. They are a storied and elite team.
Ive never cared about something so little, yet was oddly intrigued by this video
Most NFL teams have the following week off after a London game.
One of the problems for the trainers is that a LOT of the players are very young men who don't make great decisions. They have to anticipate all the stupid things that most of us guys did at that age.
He makes Americans look like avocado snobs.
18:44 I would love to be involved with a small group to figure that out!
Mike gave tommy fury a proper fight and got locked up 😂😂🤦♂️
You guys need to react to Bmonus. His videos on the nfl and nba are perfect for you guys.
Good call. All teams get a week off after an international game.
They got money and they spend it!
They need their own power because their equipment is wired for US not EU.
Please, react to "Lamar Jackson: Action Jackson" & "Ed Reed: The Ball Hawk". Both videos are created by Joseph Vincent. He puts together really good sports videos.
Mike went to Hong Kong
