I was holding 700 shares of NVDA since last earnings and i finally got out today with small profit now out, I’m exploring ETFs as a more stable option for building long-term wealth. What are the top 5 ETFs you'd suggest for someone starting with a lump sum
In no order: 1) VOO 2) QQQM 3) SCHG/VUG 4) VTI 5) SCHD/DGRO. Personally I put down 1.2m$ on few ETFs, still diversifying. it was this time last year I made my first break through with a liquid 370k. Handed it to a trader here in TX, I get weekly pay out which I put back on long term ETF's. Tesla will be a huge buy for me when the market bottoms.
Thank you Aaron, I already added VOO and QQQM, can you share this Pro with me?
Yeah, Judith B Richards use her name to look her up.
I appreciate this. After curiously searching her name online and reviewing her credentials, I'm quite impressed. I've contacted her as I could use all the help I can get outlining my objectives.
Dang that’s crazy cause your a bot and today is Sunday
I love this channel, I'm working on my financial journey and I like how Gwen makes it make sense for everyone to understand. Some financial folks make regular folks run away because of the big terminology that is used . Gwen I love the breakdown super simple. Thanks again and for the record " ""Gwen you are so fine"". Keep doing what you doing the beautiful queen you are ❤❤❤.
I've long wanted to trade crypto, but the price volatility confuses me, despite watching many UA-cam videos.
If you are using a really good broker or account manager it is easier to earn from the market
I will advise you to stop trading on your own, it is very risky. Seek advice from a professional trader.
Who is your advisor?
his name is Gerry Wes, I trade side by side with him and I never lose any trade.
Wow, you trade with Gerry Wes too? Wow that man has been a blessing to me and my family.
I'll need help if I'm going to make it through this. The ETF and stock markets are still pretty volatile. What's left of my $170,000 portfolio now isn't looking good; how can I capitalize on the market?
Many people are still getting fantastic returns on their investments during this time. Simply maintain a strong sense of reality or ask for professional assistance.
A good number of people discredit the effectiveness of financial advisors in exploring new markets, but over the past 10years I’ve had a financial advisor consistently restructure and diversify my portfolio/expenses and I’ve made over $3million in gains… might not be a lot but i'm financially secure.
Could you provide information about your advisor? I'm interested in using my boosted cash flow to invest in stocks and alternative assets to meet my financial objectives.
My CFA is ‘’Lauren Michelle Comer”, a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the mrkt.
I'm pleased with the advisor's prompt and knowledgeable assistance. Their professionalism instills confidence. Looking forward to further discussions.
Just starting this investment journey at 54 years of age. My entire 24 years in the military, I was never taught about investing (should be a required course in every military career school) in the stock market. I just bought 1 share of IBIT, 1 PLTR, 4 TOPT, 4 SCHD. And thanks to you I turned on the drip option. Each month for the rest of the year, I plan to buy the same number of each depending on how they are doing. I may do 3 IBIT and 3 PLTR next month just to even out the shares before making the monthly buys. Also adding in a few other stocks like SoFi, Uber, and NVIDIA. Lets see if it do what it do the way I hope it will do...
I already have most of these in my portfolio. Trying to diversify things a bit more.
Can you do a vid on best monthly/weeklys? dividend etf
SPLG(30), SCHD(20), SCHG(10), JEPQ(10), SPYI(10),FBTC(10), FETH(10). S&P 500, DIVIDEND, GROWTH, OPTIONS, CYPTO
Great post - I am buying fractional shares of Bitcoin, and my favorite ETF along this line is MSTY due to its high dividend output, and it's low share price. I also hold it's underlying MSTR, and quite a bit of SCHD.
Good stuff!
✊I would say more emphasis should be placed on day trading as it is less susceptible to the unpredictable nature of the market. ✊I have done over 6.7 BT C day trading and started with just 0.9 BT .C in 6 weeks with Alex Smith's insights and signals. He was a step ahead of other analysis. He has evolved over the years to be the best.🚀🚀🚀
As a beginner what do I need to do? How can I invest, on which platform? If you know any please share. I'm new at this, please how can I reach him? 🙏🙏

My dividends so far in February 4,446.00 I've been saving for 31 years.
Thanks Gwen! Loved this video… I had money sitting in my buying power from my 52 Week Challenge automation and purchased some TOPT and IBIT!!! You know how we do Rich Friend!!! Let’s GOOOOO! 🎉💃🏽
I have these 2 ETFs I also hold QNXT which is part of Blackrock TOPT ETF family. Your the 1st person I know who has TOPT. 😊

To enhance our long-term investment mix, my partner and I are introducing a range of stocks and ETFs that includes SCHD/VGT. We've committed $220k initially, with a particular emphasis on inflation-protected bonds and businesses demonstrating robust cash flows. I see potential for enduring growth in the current market, yet I'm also keen to explore strategies for generating short-term gains.
The strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors and pros until being burnt by their own emotions. I needed a good boost to stay afloat, hence I engaged the services of a true market strategist to help rejuvenate my $700k portfolio and boost performance and returns by 40% in a little over four years.
@@Jeffcraparo I need a guide so i can salvage my port-folio and come up with better strategies. How can one reach this advisor?
My advisor is ANNETTE MARIE HOLT who is easily searchable on the web. She has extensive knowledge of the financial market
My CFA, Annette Marie Holt, is a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
What’s the difference between VOO and VUAG
New subscriber after watching first video. I love how engaging you are.
Yay! Thank you!☺️
Me too I went straight to my Robinhood account and created this list and plan on owning 4-5 shares in each! Thank you so much for your information!
Why QQQ over VGT?
I wouldn’t say QQQ over VGT, necessarily. I would say in addition to. VGT is a great choice as well
Great video. I've got 108grand and i want to spread it across VOO, SCHD and JEPQ, what's your thought on JEPQ
JEPQ is my favorite so far. It pays monthly with over a 9% yield and also has stayed fairly level. The down side is that it was incepted in 2022 which means there is not a lot of history. I also like FEPI and SPYT.
"DCA" is the golden term but the key. My dollar portfolio i DCA with is made up of 30% SCHG, 25% SCHD, 15% VOO and over 30% in digital assets, thanks to my CFA. This alongside strategic diversification is what works for my spouse and I. We've made over 80% capital growth minus dividends. Q3 taxable divs this year was $18,388.
I find your situation fascinating. Would you be willing to suggest a CFA you've worked with?
Sure i can! Victoria Louisa Saylor is the T.X- based FA I use and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up.
Wow, her track record looks really good from what I found online.i just messaged her, let's see how it goes. Thanks for the info
New subscriber here! Thank you for the suggestions, sis! I'm middle-aged, so I need to have another stream of income in the next 10-12 years to live comfortably in my retirement years. Blessings to you 🙏🏿
Thanks for subbing! You’ve got this🤜🏾 🤛🏾
Great video never heard about the topt looks like a great option them picking individual stocks.
Topt is pretty new. Just launched in Q4 2024. But it’s been doing great! Definitely a smart one to pick up
I like them all so which one should i buy? Lets say i have $1,000 a month to invest.
Put $250 into each one
I can’t tell what comments are talk 😭
Great video!!!
Thank you!!
Investing 10000 to only make 24000 in ten years barely keeps up with inflation
What if you invest in a 10k car... what would it be worth in 10 years?
@deal492 if it's a classic it could go up in value but anything else would obviously depreciate ... basically 10 years =520 weeks if u were to put 100 dollars a week in a savings account you would have 52000 so her so to take 10000 and and turn it into 34000 after 10 years of inflation u probably really only made about 7000 grand in 10 years but hey what ever floats your boat way more money to be made in crypto
@@carlsenters2810 well your probably not gonna get a Barret Jackson caliber car for 10k...soooo
@carlsenters2810 also... your 520x100 is true... but by your own admission... take away inflation, how much will your 52k buy you?
Like anyone who had a 100.00 bill in there safe on 1-1-20... now has about a 60.00 bill.... so putting it in a jar with any other reason than to "hide money" has less now. Than they had in 2020
Good thing there’s a crypto ETF on my list in this episode 😉
💎Trading is a global 🌎 poker & chess game that is executed thru a long/short auction system (order flow thru bid/ask). Dynamic profession💎.
This is my first time seeing your channel. So this is the only video I've seen of yours. I have to say this video is KILLER! 💯 Seriously, if anyone who doesn't want the hassle of buying indiviual stocks (like my girlfriend). She owns one stock that I introduced her to (TKO), which is doing extremely, BTW. But I'm preparing to line her up with a couple ETFs. But yes, Gwen, hands down "quality" ETFs are the set it and forget way to go to see that money grow. This video needs to be saved and shared by your viewers. Liked and Sub'd! 🎯
JEPQ?
???
Thank you, sis!❤❤❤
My pleasure !
Thanks so much for the info you share
You are so welcome
What do you think of VTI & JEPI
You’re a GEM
😊 thank you!!
This is great info but how do you get started with all of this for beginners.
Hi Latonya! Well, as I mentioned in the video, you’ll need to open a brokerage account. Pick one: Robinhood, Charles Schwab. Fidelity, etc. Go to their website. Click Open Account. Follow the prompts. It takes 5 minutes and it’s free. Then type in the ticker symbols I mentioned here. Click Buy follows the prompts. Done.

Very strong choices. I can tell you know what you are doing. Your math is for sure right about Bitcoin. This is why all the experts are saying that you only need about 0.01 Bitcoin to become rich within a few years from now from Bitcoin which is only around a $10,000 investment. You don’t even need to have 1 Bitcoin anymore to become rich from Bitcoin like experts thought a few years ago. 👍
Thank you! And you’re so right about the fractional amount of bitcoin 💯
Low key…I’m buying all dem 💩’s
Let’s gooooo!!!!
I have FTEC SCHG and SPMO 😅😊😮
Nice 👍
Can you get withdrawal money from bitcoin when you want?
Yes you can cash out your bitcoin investments whenever you want
@ I’m good with ETFs and index funds. Yet, I’m highly skeptical of bitcoin. I know someone is making money off of it but at 64 I think I’ll just ride with ETFs, index and bonds. Great video, thanks for the update and education.
I love IBIT, do you also have its sister ETF, ETHA?
I don’t have that one yet. Thx for the tip!
@@gwenjimmere i love ETF 🥰
How did you decide on IBIT? I’ve been leaning toward FBTC but haven’t pulled the trigger. How does IBIT compare to FBTC? I think they have the same expense ratio (.25). I’m staying away from GBTC due to the 1.5% expense ratio…
@heidikamrath1951 i love FBTC too, but i decided on IBIT
Hiw do you feel about reits? Maybe you could do a small piece in the best reits?

where can you buy ibit? i have vanguard as my brokerage
Vanguard doesn’t offer crypto purchases at this time. You can buy it on any of the other brokerage I mention here: ua-cam.com/users/livevDFRyJ5D0ng?si=0HZhlEbPDe8uuB3o
@ That explains it. Thank you!
Are you still confident in NIVIDA after DeepSeek?
Absolutely, I’m still confident in Nvidia. DeepSeek’s advancements show that AI models are getting more efficient, but they still depend on Nvidia’s GPUs to function. Nvidia isn’t just selling chips-they’re the backbone of AI innovation, with unmatched hardware, software, and ecosystem dominance. As AI demand grows, so will the need for Nvidia’s technology. This is a long-term play, and Nvidia is still at the top.
@@gwenjimmere thanks for the understanding. I am new to researching companies. I read and still don't understand, especially tech!😊
IBIT
Can you talk about the XRP ETF they are coming up?
Dividends is not extra money on ETF'S..do your research please... it lowers the value of that stock😮😅
Yes…but no. Your comment is a loaded statement because it is presented without context.
Yes, dividends do technically lower the value of an ETF temporarily. Here’s how it works:
1. Ex-Dividend Date Impact - When an ETF pays a dividend, its Net Asset Value (NAV) drops by the dividend amount on the ex-dividend date. This happens because the fund is distributing cash to shareholders, reducing its overall assets.
• Example: If an ETF is trading at $100 and pays a $2 dividend, the price will typically drop to $98 on the ex-dividend date.
2. Market Price vs. NAV - While the NAV is adjusted downward, the actual market price of the ETF can fluctuate based on supply and demand. Oftentimes, investors bid up the price, making the drop less noticeable.
3. Reinvestment Offsets the Drop - If you reinvest dividends (via a DRIP or manually), you buy more shares at the lower price, which can help maintain overall portfolio value.
4. Long-Term Effect - Over time, dividend payments don’t negatively impact total return if they are reinvested. In fact, reinvesting dividends can lead to compounding growth.
So while dividends do reduce the short-term price of an ETF, they generally don’t harm long-term performance-especially if reinvested.
why not VTI, it's cheaper than VOO and has the similar companies in it.
VTI is cool, but doesn’t have anywhere near the gains that VOO does. In this case, you get what you pay for. VTI is less expensive per share for sure, but the return on it is not nearly as much as VOO. VTI has averaged 9% returns annually. Whereas VOO has averaged almost 13% returns annually. VOO has more companies in it, as well. When you own VOO you own everything that’s in VTI, but not the other way around. When you buy VOO you’re basically getting VTI plus hundreds of more companies and 4% greater returns. And for those folks who were buying fractional shares, it makes even more sense to buy VOO because if you’re spending, say $200- which won’t buy a whole share of either one of these- you might as well have to get the one that’s gonna give you 13% over 9%.
..or SCHG and SPLG 😅😊
@@gwenjimmere thank you for the information
Thanks for the video. Great information regarding ETF'S and the first person to explain how to reinvest money, DRIP. Keep doing what you do, and God bless you and your family.
Appreciate it!

Outside of my wife it is difficult for me to take in information from a woman. In general, women do not have the tools to be good speakers. However, when it comes to you Ms. Jimmere.... Damn!!! You are definitely a Stunna! Absolute homerun with this presentation, very impressive. I knew about some of the ETF's in the list, but you broadened my scope. Thank you very respectfully. I'm looking forward to learning more from you. Can you say new "subscriber"?!!!
It’s giving narcissistic vibes
This is a very weird comment to say the least.
I wish I could post memes under youtube comments for the love of God WHY CAN'T I POST MEMES 😭😭

You could of kept that shit to yourself. Clown 🤡
Nope, that's crap. We want something that makes those returns waaaay faster.
Those are annual return percentages. 10 yrs was an example since we are talking about buy and holds
Or you can try your hand at robbing a bank and seeing how that goes 🤷🏾♀️
@@gwenjimmere lol😅
But none of this pay 161% 😅
It appears you didn’t listen til the end for #5… which had a 161% return 😊
My bad let’s hope with all the crypto pro regulations Ibit continues to grow bullishly 🎉🎉🎉
"This ETF Pays 161% Returns" - 🧢
It PAID 161% return in 2024. Past performance doesn't guarantee future performance. There is always a risk with investing.
