@@elleharkness8254 he (and I) have ankylosing spondylitis which yes, does make us more prone to illness, namely to do with an immuno compromising medication, but wounds and open sores (at least in my experience) do not play a roll in that. There is only 1 section of the immune system that is compromised, if that makes sense. He'll be OK :)

Your explanation is the first I've seen, and I'm glad to know how the procedure actually works (also that it wasn't sandpaper - I haven't seen any other responses you might have made about that). Also, I did notice some droplets of water on Zach's skin in the closeups, but I thought they were sweat and the camera didn't linger on them. I think we were supposed to believe he was really hurting Zach because that's his onscreen image, but he wouldn't *really* hurt him because he's a nice guy. :-)
