I know this is 3 years old at this point, but i have an important tip!
The color of the crystals being blue/purple is a sign that the crystals are colling to quickly once removed from the liquid bismuth. If you throw them in a 350+ degree oven or wrap them in a insulated/foil dome after removing, they will come out those bright and vibrant rainbow colors you see online!

As you've probably realized, the size of your crystals are directly related to the depth of the Bismuth hence your need for more. If you can't afford more Bismuth how about trying a taller but narrower melting pot? It would also mean that it would be cooling down slower which would help in making longer crystals. Just a thought.

Unfortunately, the speed it cools doesn't directly effect crystal size. I also thought it would, but after having hundreds of crystal making runs under my belt at this point and testing it, there seems to be no correlation after a certain point.
Increasing the depth is a great idea though!

Try on an electric hot plate. An aluminum tube to start colder nucleation site in the center. A simple slow vertical lifting mechanism helps pull out the crystal.

From what I watched on other channels, the deeper the pot with a smaller surface area and a thick metal base, the larger the crystals as they grow downwards. Obviously you also need more bismuth itself to grow these larger more cubed formations rather than flat pieces with no dimensions

Seen it where people get an oxygen tank and flow tube and as soon as u pull it out blow pure oxygen on it to make deeper beautiful colors, depends what temp too on what colors when you pulled off but seeding it seems to be the best method and blowing pure oxygen on the surface!

Fascinating structures and a bit like something out of the Game of Thrones!
From a physics point of view I'd be fascinated to know what process is involved that produces such rectangular rather than classic crystal shapes?

I normally follow you for moto stuff, but this is really brilliant and addictive to watch. Some stunning crystals and in some way it makes you really think about the fabric of reality from the crazy shapes and colours. Have you seen Professor Donald Hoffman's theories on reality?

Question or Idea - will vibration increase size?
Watching the X4 there's some minor visual disturbance on the "fluid" Bismuth like tremors - could this be a reason

@spicy110 - Have you considered trying a narrower, but deeper vessel to melt the bismuth in? I'm talking from a point of ZERO knowledge about this kind of thing, but if the container is deeper, would it allow for larger crystals to form in a vertical column instead of flat and wide? Probably talking bollocks here but it makes sense to me XD.

I understand that but I have a feeling you would not tell a physically disabled person to walk better. You can not see my dyslexia other than the odd spelling error, because I worked to get better. That is why I say think more before you ignore the whole video to criticize someone's spelling that you still knew what it was saying. "help you look more professional" I have run a production company for 12+ years, even though I am dyslexic. The reason I am pointing this out is I find people who correct spelling do it alot and do not realise how offensive it can be to the people they are commenting on. (I have made over 2200 videos so I am used to it, but worth pointing out)

@@OrgoneDevices47 Root systems and lightning bolts and other stuff like nerve endings, river basins and even subway systems. The underlying reason for that isn't a creator though. Please look up contructal law. This shape is just pretty good at transporting things.
Eyes also aren't really that similar. You got spherical lens eyes, pit eyes, multiple lens eyes, reflective corneas, reflector eyes, apposition eyes, superposition eyes and other kinds of compound eyes. The reason why a lot of vertebrate eyes look kind of similar to each other is that vertebrates are closer related to each other than to e.g. cephalopods. Do you also think god is the reason why you and your uncle look similar to each other?
I have no idea what you mean with the healing fruits having the shape of the body parts they affect
