For those who might not know: Thor Heyerdahl was an early 20th century explorer who had a theory that Polynesia was populated by people from South America. He was wrong, but he proved it could have been possible, by successfully crossing the South Pacific on a raft made of balsa wood in 1947 (An excellent year to take a break from the world I suppose).

they had an anniversary show in 2022 where they redid this exact sketch and they added new things to it like the pandemic we were just going through (it's on UA-cam, but I don't know if you can find an english subtitled one of the updated version) celebrating their 19 year anniversary since they came with Snaggrabbar, which was a 10 episodic series show they did
