- Reaction To Ylvis - The Gene Test (Norwegian Comedy)
This is my reaction to Ylvis - The Gene Test
In this video I react to Norwegian comedy from Norwegian comedy duo Ylvis (and Calle from Raske Menn) as they take a DNA gene test and look at the results.

I clearly could have taken a few more seasons of this show. They was (are) great great fun.
Ylvis(the show) was very fun because the guests were not the main focus lol
Vegrad, Calle, and Bård would go outside and do fun little experiments/pranks/experiences, sometimes with guests. I think every video you have seen of Ylvis is from this talk show. They even ran on the audience inside big plastic balls😅
I really miss this show - I love every thing Ylvis do, but I Kveld Med Ylvis was my absolute favorite.
great video🤩, I love ylvis and calle, fun fact, I'm Norwegian and two weeks ago I saw calle on raske menn show in Drammen and i loved it 🤩 it was sooooo fun😂, I wish that "i kveld med ylvis " the program you were watching now was still on TV, i love that program🤩, you should see something from magnus devold too, he is a super tall and funny guy who is also in the same program🤩
I have actually taken the 23andme-gene test. I have subsequently uploaded the data to companies that matches the data with extra datasources like SNPedia to get additional information about all my SNPs, then bought two different reports on my genes and compared that the general information of each SNP.
The reports takes out key SNPs then gives you advice. For instance I have 3 Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms associated with low or poor generation and metabolism of Vitamin D. The advice is therefore eat more vitamin D than otherwise, since getting it from the sun is not optimal. These reports often focus on optimizing levels of nutrients compared to a minimum level needed to prevent illness.
Americans are really into doing ancestry research and DNA tests. Many of us have ancestors who arrived in North American in the 1600s through the 1800s from many different places. A lot of Americans did not keep genealogical trees and now don't know their roots or they know vaguely that they came from a certain country.
My mother's side of the family kept records. My father's side didn't. We knew he had Scottish and presumed German lineage. I did a lot of research and then verified with DNA tests. My DNA is about 30% Scottish, 10% Welsh, 10% Irish and the rest is English, German, French, Swiss, Dutch and Swedish.
The test also solved a health mystery. One sibling has hemochromatosis, "the Celtic disease," which is iron overload. Two markers are required to be affected by it. My other siblings and I have only one marker.
You should check out Ylvis- Big in Kirgisistan
Random fun fact from I kveld med Ylvis. Season 4 Epsiode 9 at time 35:19 The band plays Koopa Troopa Beach from Mario Kart 64 🤣
We can order from Amazon, and many other simuler firms in Norway. You can get your mail faster if you pay more And you can choose what way wan.t to recive you mail😢
Wait, how come one brother was 99.3% european while the other was 100%?
I guess mom got some explaining to do 😅
No, not really, siblings can get a variation of what they inherit from their parents, it is not 50-50. As far as I gather this is a running joke between these Ylvis brothers, one being blond and one having black hair, so the joke is that the dark haired one has some turkish(related to the milkman/mailman, kind-of-stick). This is because of the Norwegian stereotype of having blonde hair. Black-haired Norwegians are actually not that uncommon to be fair.
first
Awfull show.
Then it's really good that no one is forcing you to watch it, isn't it 😏 Sorry for my english 🙃 Have a wonderfull day 🥳
