The head sculpt and accessories are scaled down to fit the smaller body they used.
With a body swap they can look good as seen here

Is anything perfect though?
I bought this at onesixthkit.com and am a supporter of his as his service is impeccable.
I will do follow up vids showing size comparisons and a body swap.
The body to get is a s17b I believe and again kit sells them cheaper than the ones on ebay.
This figure out of the box is ok displayed on its own but needs a body swap to look right alongside other figures.
Thanks for the unboxing. I had this pre-ordered and am really eager to see how it turned out. Glad they modified the headsculpt for a better likeness. If you compare it to the promo photos, her eyebrows are really noticeably different now.

I think the figure looks great too. I’m still waiting for mine to arrive but I will get it in a week or two I guess. I don’t really like to mod the figures I buy so I will probably keep the stock body. The facehugger and the egg on the other hand I will keep in the box. I’ll just mod one of my plastic eggs instead and use the posable facehugger that I have. I’m just happy to finally add a human element to my AvP display, though Ripley never appeared in any of the AvP stuff. Been trying to find a colonial marine for my collection though, but appearantly thats fuckin’ impossible at a reasonable price these days.
The problem is next to other figures the size difference is very noticeable.
Next to an alien its ok.
If you did want to do a body swap a s17b is the one used by the guy in this vid.

Mine came in yesterday and I don’t know how anyone can think this head sculpt is good. Haha. I laughed when I opened the box. And the mirrored text on the right boot is so lazy
