Tsunami advisory in effect on Central Coast following volcanic eruption near Tonga

- A volcano that erupted underwater near the South Pacific island of Tonga is expected to send small waves to California’s Central Coast on Saturday morning. Overnight, the National Tsunami Warning Center issued a Tsunami Advisory for the west coast, including the Monterey Bay. The initial arrival time was expected around 7:35 a.m. Saturday, with peak waves possibly occurring 1 to 2 hours later. Officials expect the peak waves to be about 1 to 2 feet.

cutting your boat loose during a tsunami is extremely irresponsible. That then makes that boat a possible object to smash into everything else. If it's still docked the ties might keep it in place. You might loose the boat but at least you didn't allow you boat to float around freely to smash into everything.
I promise you 90% of people would rather kill someone than lose their boat

Wouldn't be surprised seeing a Tsunami hitting Humboldt considering Earth quakes and under sea lava flows getting closer since spring 2016.
In Hawaii, each time a Tsunami alert ( warning)is issued, the Tourists rush from their hotel rooms down to Waikiki ⛱ Beach🌊 ( to watch). The locals grab their kids, pets & in the country a goat, pig or horse and head "Mauka" towards the high ground!
This is the universal rule of tourism - tourists are thick. They check their brain in with their luggage. I live next to a tourist location in Europe and every year tourists fall off balconies and die...
No one who lives here ever falls off a balcony. They meet safety regulations. I have no idea what the tourists do - but its clearly dumb.

The Law of Moses is the ways and righteousness of God and contains His laws and commandments.
