- Join Alaska Department of Fish and Game wood bison biologist Tom Seaton and Canadian bison expert Wes Olsen for a presentation about the beneficial effects wood bison have on the ecosystem and species around them.
Wes had some technical difficulties, so his presentation was in "edit" mode, so it looks a bit different and is not full screen, but it still may be useful to view while he talks.

Amazing !! This should be required learning to our young children !
I love bison restoration projects especially on public lands, I really hope Alaska continues to expand there bison programs.
Great presentation on all the ways Bison helps promote diverse life to the ennvionment.
Thank you for the presentation! It was fascinating to think about the essential role played by microbiota and insect life in the bison diet, something that bears resemblance to the use of silage when raising cattle.
Bison should be reintroduced to all first nations lands, or at least as many as possible.
This just proves that bison 💩 is good for the land and cow 💩 is also good for the environment!
