I had an 04 Z back in the day. Had it hooked up with a Veilside Body kit and Enkei wheels. Nothing but the best for that Z. Glad to see the Fandom for it still alive! I'm excited for the release of the new one! That's one I'm interested in! Great video bro!
shorter axles goes on driver side. its same for 350z & 370z/ This is because of the offset in the differential carrier and cage. If you swap their location, the inner joint shaft will touch the dust cover in the back of the joint (where it connects with half shafts on diff). 350 & 370 differentials are identical. the shorter axle goes on driver side
2yrs later and wondering how these are working out for you. My outer CV joints are toast so might as well upgrade everything while im down there. Do you still recommend?
Unless i missed it, what brand bearing and hub did you choose? I am not a do it yourselfer so i want to do this job exactly 1 time. Also do you have those exact bolt specs please
The hubs and axels are linked in the description. Moog hubs and axels from oreillys. I don’t recall the exact brand, but they are linked. These are 370z axels so the hubs have to match if you’re doing this on a 350. I don’t recall the exact hardware specs, sorry. I took a bolt from the factory axels and just got one the same diameter. Just want to be sure there isn’t a lot of play in the holes.
Same length but opposite. Right side goes to the left and left side goes to right. You also need 370z hubs/bearings to make work because there are more splines. No vibration or anything after install-no reason there would be-it’s all factory pieces. No need for an alignment as you’re not making any changes to control arms.
I installed 3 different axles (AutoZone, track motive, and Nissan value advantage). All 3 were Chinese axles (yes even Nissan value advantage is Chinese axles, made by same company that makes AutoZone and track motive axles). They all have the same tooling marks. They're all poorly made, excessive rotational play in the joints, causing clunking when shifting or changing directions. Also severe vibration when accelerating past 80mph. I went with used OEM axles of a crashed low miles 370z, and could not be more happy. Axles are the one part that is worth spending the extra money on. For me ride quality is very important as I don't track or race the car. It's just a daily driver. I want smooth operation and no NVH
I don't have a recommendation, honestly. Check out BoostInMotion--he had some axle issues on his lowered AWD Q50 awhile back and I believe he discussed what he replaced them with.

Thanks so much! I’m excited for the new one too!

I think they are actually flipped. You can’t put them in wrong. One is far too long.
Yes correct. It's not possible to put them on wrong because one side would be too short and other side too long if put on incorrectly. Great video!
are the 370z axles same as g37? i noticed the 370 ones are slightly longer than 350 ones. I'm using ones out of a manual g37s
I love how you just casually took that back nuts off of the cv axel and here I am on day 2 of trying to do it
Frozen on you or having other issues?
@@SpeedCultureStudios straight up wont move im getting a torch tomorrow and praying that works

They were a good upgrade. I don’t have the car anymore but it handled what I threw at it.
nice. im a fan of this 350z series!
Really enjoying it!

Are they the same length as the original axle and hubs? Is any alignment needed after install? Any issues with NVH? Thanks!

@@SpeedCultureStudios Thank you!
Did you put any anti seize or grease on the spline?
Yes grease
Whats up! What brand and size are your wheels and tires? They look awasome!!!! I have a 07. Thanks!!!
Awesome video as usual bro 💪🏽
Really appreciate it!

No issues with these
Do you need longer bolts? ARP 10x1.25 40mm bolts would work?
@vulcanrush did that size work for you an where u get it at
Do new axles feel better and bearings as well can you feel a difference ?
New bearings, definitely. The axles don't feel different, but if the old ones would have gone much longer, they would have been a problem.
Are isr hfc any good I just got some for my g37
Not bad
What size and length on them bolts
I don’t recall. I think I just measured the factory bolts
Hey yo question is there any performance radiator for the Q50 3.7 mine just blew up lol !?
No not really
Good thing about radiators, you don’t have to find one for your car, just find one that fits the dimensions. Good to go.
Doesn’t mishi make a 800 dollar kit?
@@ryanfisher8597 I wouldn’t get a mishimoto radiator
@@bnanabrd9826 that’s correct
What type of axles do you recommend for a q50 awd? it’s lowered on bc coilovers

Can we get the hardware size bolts we need plz
sadly mine literally blew today so i’ll have to replace them again 😅, i’ll have to swap over to 370z ones soon
Worth it!
