Just want to say, back in February I decided to go with Mboards for the Interstellar..I’ve done tons of research and decided I wanted to go with Mboards because of how honest and true they were about there company and DIY aspect of there boards. Takes a lot of balls to say if you don’t like us “open up your board and use different brand company parts than ours” I wanted range, speed and comfort and I couldn’t be any happier. It’s half the price of the big name brands and it performs just a solid as them! I’ve had no issues with board and I ride about 40 miles a week. I’ve herd and read all the post on all the eskate forums and Reddit about when Mboards started there customer service was trash and avoid them. Well I can tell you from my experience there customer service is phenomenal. Quick reply’s even on weekends. Starting a business in collage I could imagine the stress with school and trying to go for your dreams. Also I reached out to them to install my interstellar with the cloud wheels they offer and I got the replay back “no problem”.. no up charge either! I’m gonna be a ride or die rider with Mboards for a long time! Can’t wait for the new board you guys are working on! Keep killing it kid 🤙

*I think that podcast was more so that people who buy the first batch should buy so with realistic expectations, and if they cannot accept there could/will be bugs then they should wait for the next batch.* If no-one bought the first batch then there would be no company so it is important to buy, but do so knowing what to expect and don't go crazy at the company if things go wrong, be patient and give them time to resolve any issues that may crop up. It is all about managing expectations.

When you do get the carbon fiber decks squared away I'm going to want mine geckodermed right off the bat for sure biggest battery Mike can put together and the stormcore. That's what I'm talking about🤙🔥
Yup. A Good eye for detail is going to be needed for the QC of these carbon fiber decks. Mike has put in so much work on this, I super appreciate that about Mboards.

Im making Evo shape full carbon boards right now. If you need some symmetrical style I can make those too. I may not be able to keep up with your volume but theyre all high quality.
Ok, if what you say is really how you operate your biz. that is recommendable. Also, nice doggo. But I also want to point out that not every manufacturer holds his workers to a standard like that, most bigger board manufacturers have the boards assembled on a line, usually by workers who never set foot on a skateboard, let alone an esk8board. (Just an example, my brand new exway wave which is not exactly a noname board from aliexpress, had the griptape applied so sloppy that one can feel like a huge bubble that would be located where your front foot stands, but it is no bubble, they just stretched the griptape out too much before cutting it at the edge, now it is not long enough to sit snug on the board)
I am only getting into this wonderful kinda-sport, after hanging my skateboard on the wall over a decade ago, but from my recent experience in how the corporate world these days works, whoever said to never buy first batch was right as rain. If you as manufacturers let your customers be the beta testers, you can`t start b*tching when your customers get wise to that, and wait for reviews. Not saying that you do that, js, in general. (Also, none of my biz, but maybe don`t skip on all of those youtubers, or how would I as a customer even learn that your boards don`t suck? Js)
for as many people that wait for the second release, there are 10 times the amount that want the newest tech first. most people will buy first edition to also say they were there from the beginning. awesome podcast as usual. thanks guys

Almost there! We’re ramping up battery production now. Knocking out multiple packs a day at this point.
Should be totally caught up in less than a week.

Ill finish watching later, but i do agree. the “first batch” thing. Evolve is an example. ppl were saying i shouldn’t get the first batch hadean. i did. and it had two recalls. BUT i had faith in the company and they made it right. just as i knew they would. they reached out to me via phone and email. sent me shipping labels and fedex picked them up. had them back 4 days later. we dont have faith in companies, they cant grow and be successful
@ESK8UNITY that's 100 percent my belief as well. People are so critical and unforgiving when it comes to these new companies that are really working hard to put out awesome things for us, it's up to us the consumers to back these growing companies and make them awesome. You got to have something to believe in. 🤙

Y’all have “Skin in the Game” & your people of integrity you wouldn’t sell crap . My idea about a line of batteries would be a “Signature Series” kinda like some manufacturers have the builder sign the engine. Quality control brought down to a personal level…”Skin in the Game.”
i ride my boards hard. i like it wen it breaks it tells me wat part needs working on. its the only way to move forward and make parts beta to handle the abuse we give it.

this brand reminds me of abasi concepts, but i think the main difference is i think abasi really hones down at being the ‘guide figure’ for the guitar player and helps them innovate. mboards has that guidance persona given the informative videos and podcasts, but maybe instead of how abasi does innovation, mboards could do some other value that people look up to like liberation/excitement. while at it, collaborate with an expert esk8er to show how liberating esk8ing is, through well made short clips and other stuff… idk what is an expert esk8er is but its really just someone who could show the joy of being good at esk8ing. im just rambling, its just that i see a stagnant amount of views per podcast
Did you guys know the first carbon evolve board didn't work because the remote signal couldn't go past the carbon material
Yes! So far our remote is holding up well. But we’ve got a contingency plan just in case!
After watching this I decided to order from mboards.hope everything goes smooth so I can make a video calling out all the people who said not to order from them! Really scary spending over a thousand dallors after reading forums...
