Zambry: Excellent students can appeal if they did not get into matriculation

- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2023 candidates who scored 10As and above can appeal to enter into matriculation or public university foundation programmes, says Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir.
The Higher Education Minister said that there are “sufficient places” in both programmes to cater to the number of students who got 10As and above

Exactly. Sub standard. Jaguh kampong. You think they can excel or compete internationally ? Will they everwake up to reality, one wonders ?.
Excellent students, 9A or 10A please explore private Uni options as you will definitely be able to secure a scholarship. I don't think you need to beg for matriculation. Good talents need to be retained proactively not letting these talents to beg or submit rayuan!

Journalists, why give such softball questions to this Minister?
Not all 10As will join matriculation program and asasi. Not all student apply for the program. Not all student who applied and would join the program. So here, what he means is that, 10As student who applied, definitely will get a spot in the program.
All other nations will give them scholarships if our government does not. Again brain drain. Who want to serve an Ungrateful government ?.
The Sarawak government has long awarded scholarships to all outstanding students of all races based on merit. Every year, the Sarawak government spends over 100 million just on education

Kalau tempat di matriculasi di aguhkan mengikut pecahan kaum etnik di Malaysia pun dah lebih dari cukup......tak oatah bersusah payah......tak mungking mereka yamg dapat 10A, 9A dan 8 A akan melebihi tempat tempat yang ada di seluruh matrikulasi di negara ini.
Tak payah nak buat susah susah la Madani goi
Macam mana pelajar2 memperolehi 9A, 8A atau 7A? Mereka juga pelajar2 yg cukup prestasi!

My friend didn't get a place, but was offered a place in Singapore. No regrets going there to study. Racism in Malaysia is just getting bad with this type of politicians.
