  • Even if you're doing a talk through or a review, it's important to illustrate your points to engage your audience. In today's video, I do a breakdown of a recent edit I did that is a gaming review.
I make an effort to focus on the sound design in particular, which is something I'm continually working on, hope you guys enjoy!

A tutorial on doing clip montages with the free version of davinci would be cool. Games like Valorant and Apex get a lot of traction with pretty simple edits, and a tutorial on how to do those would be great.

Hi, great job with the videos. What are the specs of the PC you are using for editing and what monitors? Thanks!

Can you tell me how do you price your work? Hourly or project based? A video with how you started would be interesting. I also like a lot these unedited edits, we learn a lot from them.

Thank you for the feedback ❤️ so it really depends on the work and amount of work. I think for the most part people have an hourly rate (~$20-$60/hr) and will charge based on how long it takes them to edit a video.
Even if it's a longer project, the estimate sent over will normally stem from an hourly rate multiplied by the estimated time of completion. Some people I know work at a monthly salary and will edit as many videos as needed on that salary, and some people who help manage channels also include commissions.
Ultimately comes down to what you feel comfortable charging

For free? That might be a little tougher, but there's a few places you can look. Pixabay will have some music you can use, and you can try Soundly or FreeSound. I personally use Epidemic and Envato Elements but those are paid services
