I believe Jon Snow's fate would have been more fitting if he had been killed gracefully by Grey Worm's army rather than being sent back to the Wall. Given that the Wall no longer serves its original purpose with the defeat of the White Walkers and the dead, his return there felt redundant. A death that acknowledges his sacrifices and the weight of his actions would have been a more dignified and professional conclusion for his character.
I still firmly believe this episode is one of the greatest things to be put on television ever! Minus the last two seasons, GOT is one of the best shows :)
