you have to spend 200 stamina, so once you use up 200 stamina you get an entry. When on the Hero Games screen at the bottom middle you can tap the "Memory Cubes" symbol (or the green exclamation mark) and it will tell you you can get 1 Memory Cube when you spend 200 stamina for the day. Note: you are restricted to 1 cube per day, I think the cubes stack if you earned one but don't use (just be careful I think there once 1 time where the cubes didn;t stack for me).
