Great video mate, Here in South Africa, bony fish make good fish cakes, cook the fillets(smoke or steam it) then remove most of the big bones. Chase it through the mincer, add some seasoning, diced onions, flower, am egg or two. And make some fish cakes.. Serve with some tartare souce.. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

mporning luke, if you're in salt water. Make sure you wash your reel and rod in clean water all the time, it will prevent it from corroding . Great fishing keep on going and living the dream
I recommend you guys to go to Hartley crocodile adventures up in Kuranda. You get to go on a boat ride in a man made mangrove where many crocs are in there. It’s pretty close up. Have fun in cairns Edit: forgot to mention they feed the crocs with sticks and they wiggle themselves up into the air
@@lukefalzon if you go to kuranda and like freshwater fishing go to oakforrest road near MCcorry st most locals fish off the bridge but i personally fish upstream from the bridge, you can drive down mccorry st about 300m down you will see the first house on the left an then turn right into a clearing opposite the house, go over the train track an a small hike down a hill and your at a grunter breeding hole most locals don't even know about. You will catch grunter, sleepy cod, eeltail catfish and possibly a jungle perch but their mostly tagged. The recent rain has stirred up alot of grunters I took home 8 grunters all above 48cm.

cool video mate we catch the fish and put them in the live bucket it is a bucket with a arereater like a fishtank and it keeps the fish alive also scale the fish with a spoon it is better than the knife also we just cook the fish strait without seasoning
When u had it semi frozen. Fillet then use a fork and just scrape all the meat off the bones then make fish balls. Tampons meat is actually pretty good at taking on the flavours u put on it.
