While I like hearing stories like these we can't say for sure how it is until you decide to call it home. You can come to many parts in America and have a good sometimes great experience the problem is when you try to get a good paying job, get a loan, have run ins with law enforcement in a not so great part of town, etc. racism that actually affects isn't out in the open most of the time hell I could waltz in a sundown town and party till I'm purple with the right people around me and I'm not seen as a threat. I've been to Moscow and Siberia,stayed for 6 months in both locations, and can say expect for one incident, I've never felt threaten or felt like I was in need to be overly cautious of my surroundings. Of course you don't act like an a-hole, but most people were friendly and wanting to help you. Some like in Siberia, have not really seen a black person in their area, so for a spell I was treated like a mini- celebrity. Felt more safe and less on edge there, then in the U.S.,can definitely say that.

Looks good the food
I've been to Moscow and Siberia,stayed for 6 months in both locations, and can say expect for one incident, I've never felt threaten or felt like I was in need to be overly cautious of my surroundings. Of course you don't act like an a-hole, but most people were friendly and wanting to help you. Some like in Siberia, have not really seen a black person in their area, so for a spell I was treated like a mini- celebrity. Felt more safe and less on edge there, then in the U.S.,can definitely say that.

Black people will have not much problems in russia. Pushkin was also black guy (his grandfather was black). Of cause some will look at you, depends where you are. Which town, countryside or not. But there is no aggression or active racism against black people. Maybe some quiet thinkings. But my opinion is more, that russian people are more curious bout black people, that think negative about.
