@@serena9543hypothetically speaking, if I blew someone away, I'm not exactly going to be quick to tell the cops I did it either. They also didn't threaten the therapist directly. They discussed it among themselves. I'm certain if they had decided to put that one into action, they would have done it. Afterall, what would they have had to lose anyway?

we unfortunately SAY 'believe victims', but we pick and choose who we think fits that criteria.
because they were young men form a rich family, the were faced with very little sympathy.
they deserved manslaughter, not first degree, but because of the corruption of the judge, the jury was not even given a choice! the justice system has failed them.
if you are interested in the truth and not the headlines, please watch the court tapes. over FIFTY people testified for the defence: family, tennis & swimming coaches, teachers, medical professionals talking about injuries Erik sustained that were indicative of oral r*pe in children, the nude photos that their parents took and kept, and so much more. please do not jump to judgement without understanding the horrendous background of these brothers and the effects of the trauma they endured. give victims the chance to be heard, otherwise we are no better than the abusers themselves.

Set them free. I'm a survivor of sexual abuse by my father that started when I was 7. I'm 70 and the hatred and rage remains. I'm on SSDI due this bastard. Did work for awhile but finally had breakdown. Give them their freedom!!! Even though I moved out my father continued to send filthy letters. When I told my mom at 7, she said to never tell anyone or father would go to jail and they'd take me away from her. When SSDI sent me a lump sum, she took half the money. I had a daughter and she took all the money SSDI gave her. My mother was a real gem (not)
so, you murdered your parents or did you obey the law and walk away? THAT is the line that determines who is to be free in society and who is not....they planned these murders when they had freedom to walk out the door. They bought shotguns 2 days in advance and WENT BACK HOME to commit the crimes. They attempted to set up an alibi but it didn't work because no one heard the shots so no one called the cops. Instead of arriving home to find cops dealing with murders, while the brothers had "been at the movies", they found their own crimes still all over the floor and had to call it in themselves, blowing up the alibi. They also attempted to blame it first on some random guy, then they tried to say it was a MOB HIT.....everyone knew they were full of crap the entire time. They wanted to maintain the rich lifestyle but they couldn't do that without daddy's money. They made up everything to try and justify cold blooded murder for inheritance.

no, there was no evidence of abuse and to this day there is STILL no evidence of abuse....there are CLAIMS by convicted murderers that made efforts to plan their crime, plan an "alibi" that failed, and blame others before the evidence proved that it was them.

People who say they should have just walked away do not understand the effects of sexual abuse. There are physical prisons and there are emotional prisons. When you are sexually abused you are caught in an emotional prison with that person and you cannot just walk away.
i think it really shows a lot how the majority of the brother’s family members have stuck with them and advocated for them over the decades. just shows what really went down in that house many years ago.

The problem with this is, we have a bunch of CHILDREN that weren't around when it happened and don't understand the reality......any claims of abuse STILL have not been proven in any way. They wanted to maintain the rich lifestyle but couldn't do that without daddy's money. They premeditated the murders, went out got guns, went HOME, and 2 days later, shot their parents in the back as they sat on the couch watching TV. No sane person can claim that the parents were an imminent threat or that the brothers had no other option. They weren't caged or chained....they were in countless extra curricular activities, living off daddy's wealth. BUT, they were getting to an age where it was time to go out and make something of themselves...that would have meant no more of daddy's car or the big house or everything else his money had provided.....they lied about abuse in an attempt to justify murder for the inheritance and it was obvious to everyone. Now, we have people that read an article or see some netflix dramatization designed to attract viewers with false info, and it gets murderers that were convicted without a shadow of a doubt out of prison.

It was clear by their actions that they wanted the money....if you were paying attention to the EVIDENCE, and not getting emotional about lies told by murderers, you'd understand that they are guilty.

It's sad that family members suspected or witnessed abuse, but they did nothing to protect Erik and Lyle from their evil parents.
Katie's sister said that family members were downstairs hearing noises from upstairs and whenever they would try to go upstairs, Kitty would tell them not to go upstairs.
Kitty was bitter and angry after discovery that her husband had been involved in an eight year affair with another woman.

Jose had been physically, emotionally, mentally and s3xually abusing Erik and Lyle since Erik was six years old and Lyle was 9 years old which means Erik was abused for 12 years of his life.
I believe that Erik and Lyle thought that murd3r was the only way that they would ever escape from the abuse and control of their parents.
Thirty-five years is a long time for punishment for two people who were abused by the people who should have been protecting them.
I pray for Erik and Lyle to be freed from prison and that they will live the rest of their lives surrounded by people who truly love them and support them.
Every child deserves loving parents, but every parent does not deserve a child.
