omg i was literally so stuck thx for that this deserves more likes and views
Thanks Tania, glad this video could clear things up for you 👍
i swear random ppl on youtube make any topic so much easier than any teacher can
Even my teacher sent this to me-
Yeah I’m also glad that it’s a short video, so I don’t have to watch like a 20 minute homework video

Ikrr😭😭☹️
god bless you man, I'm taking additional mathematics but am suffering because I didn't pay attention during lower forms and didn't know all my basics.
now I can finally solve these crazy long equations 🙏
Everybody I recommend Cognito’s channel, because he is just really amazing. All the working out is neatly shown, which is really tricky in complex equations like this, and they are pretty short videos too 😊
Listen, you're the one that is helping me through my College Algebra, thanks man! God bless you!
College? This is 7th grade algebra
@@BlandSock The concept is that in order for you to pass College Álgebra you need to know and remember the basic, hence, it's helpful.
Everyone should have to subscribe to cognito he so excellent in teaching he knows how to show his working and he is a great teacher
The night before an assessment and Blud just saved my life
fr thoooo

Thank you this was a great introduction to this topic.
This was explained way better than my maths teacher so thanks for saving me in my maths assessment

Thank you man. I was struggling on my summer work, and you came in clutch! Lots of love ❤😄
Thank you! Because of you I went from getting 24/30 to getting a 29!

aint no way bro just saves life like its nothing in 5 minutes and a teacher who is there for your whole life that spends years with you cant NAHHHHH
..
Thx man
what do you think about my style of video, iv also just created a brackets video. would like to hear your thoughts.
Sir i dont understand how -3x+8x becomes a + 5 and -4x+3x becomes a - x
Please explain it😭🥺
well you can just do a simplified ver, so the signs in -3x + 8x are different. -3 = "-" sign, and +8x ="+" sign.
As a rule remeber that, when the signs are difference, subtract tthe 2 numbers, even if its "+" in the question.
so 8-3 = 5, now u have base no.
To identify the sign of this no (5) look at the greater number, (from the no set 3 and 8) 8 is greater.
Now what sign does 8 have? "+" sign.
SO its +5, same thing for the other question.
You could just skip this and visulaize a number line with positive no of the righta nd neg on the left, but i couldnt explain that properltty in a yt comment. there are other yt for those as well
Just think of -4 + 3 = -1. I was confused initially but if you think of x being worth 1 then you can see more easily why -4x + 3x = -x.
Hey! Can't we use this method
E.g the last question: (2x+3)(x+3a-2)
2x (x+3a-2) +3 (x+3a-2)
2x² + 6xa - 4x + 3x +9a - 6
2x² + 6xa - x + 9a - 6
I literally watch all your videos, really helpful. Thanks
Hello, yes you can do that, it's kind of similar to the way that we did it but just a different way of writing it.
In maths there are always lots of different ways of doing things, so I've just picked the methods that are most common or that i think are easiest :)
can you explain me how you do (x+7)(x+3)
x(squared) + 3x +7x +21. but u can clean it up to be x(squared) +10x +21
In the last question what happened to the 4x and 3x
1x is just x
Is there triple brackets
I’m doing this worksheet currently and I got a different answer from the answer sheet so could u please tell me the answer to (2 - r)(8 - r)
16-2r+8r-r squared
I think it would be 16+r(squared)-10r . You would use the same method, it's just that there are letters; you would still square and everything like you do with numbers! :)
(a+7)(a×8)
a squared + 56
I love you cognito
when you combine the x terms in 4:22 I don't get how you got -x
1x is just x
this is so wrong to minuses makes a posative
thats when you times
I thought this would be harder
Aw mann,i still dont get itt
Well so basically there is a rule where - and + . = . - and. + and + or - and - =. +
