I love having my pencils, pens and markers on display in jars/cups/plant pots on and around my desk. It keeps them in sight so I remember I have them 😊 and I love looking at my supplies 🥰 The sound of rummaging around in a pot of pencils is a very happy sound to me. Pencil cases are too quiet.
I agree!!! Happy sounds! And sometimes if you put things away, you tend to forget you have them.
I just got into colouring and already have a couple of different brands of pencils. Do you keep your brands separate or store them in the cups in colour groups? I have mine in cups right now and prefer it but I am finding a lot of good colour combinations across two different brands and want to remember them.
@@scapegoat3479 at the moment I have them sorted by brand, because it looks better to me. Maybe have a little notebook to write down colour combinations you enjoy? Have fun!
The tip about putting the pencils in the case lead facng in, away from the zipper, had literally never occurred to me, soo thank you for that! *runs off to change all her pencils*
I just got my first set of Prisma pencils 150 set and bought a cute case that is London themed for them but I can’t bring myself to transfer them into the case because the big Prisma set box is so pretty 😂 I know I am crazy 😜 I know I will have to transfer them because I am clumsy and will drop a tray if I don’t but they all look so beautiful and they are my first….kinda like how you adore your first child 😂 I love my London themed case though because I lived in Milton Keynes U.K. for seven years and my boyfriend at the time was truck driver for Crabtree and Evelyn so I got to see and explore all over England and even Edinburgh Scotland once so the case makes me happy because it was the very best time in my life. I know I am just being silly about transferring the pencils and will move them probably tomorrow as I have a doctors appointment in Orlando today and it’s a little drive.
Hi Pamela, I think I posted my desk on your Facebook group. I love a carousel, but found it best to line the holes with cardboard to keep them from spreading and leaning out the edge.
I just ordered those fun magic pencils per your recommendation, along with the dahle sharpener. Just wondering if you have seen the storage Tombow Marker Desktop Organizer for the Tombow markers? I do not own any Tombows, but if I did I would would definitely purchase Tombow Marker Desktop Organizer. It is available on Amazon. I also use those zippered pencil cases. I have one with pumpkins and little mice on it. I also have the same one as you with the roses on it. They are such nice cases. I prefer the brand Youshares because they have one zipper.

I found that Talenti gelato jars made good pencil cups. I painted the outside with acrylic paint in different colors. I can tag a particular color for any projects I am working on.
Someone in the Facebook group asked about which way to put your pencils in the case. I had never thought about it, so I have them all in the wrong way...🤦♀️ I started looking at your cases as I've gone through your older videos and got my answer there as well, lol. 😉 The cases I bought are 300's like the cactus one. I like not having to zip each one open, but I will definitely try to do the ones you recommend from now on. In a previous video, you showed your rolling shelf from Michael's. I found a similar one on Amazon and love it!! Thank you for all the tips!! 🤗

Thank you for this great video!!! It’s great to see how you keep yourself organized! I have a quick question about a brand of specific colored pencil. I’m wondering your opinion on something. It seems like in the late 2010’s there were a lot of people upset with Prismacolor because of the potential change to the quality of their pencils. I’m wondering over the past 2-3 years, if you have seen any improvement in these issues? The reason I ask is because I am new to this medium and have bought Prismacolor open stock for an art class last fall. I’ve continued to buy them open stock and really enjoy them. Since I’m just using them for myself, and not for sale items, lightfastness is not really a main concern of mine. With this in mind, I’ve been considering buying a full 150 set of the Prismacolor pencils once and for all, rather than open stock purchasing as I’m currently doing. However, if some of their perceived quality control issues of the late 2010’s remain, then I’d prefer to put my money into a smaller set of the Caran Dache Luminance. So bottom line, have some of the issues been resolved? I don’t mind occasional breakage of a long tip because I recognize that they are a soft pencil, but I greatly dislike the few times I’ve had to sharpen my pencil extra in order to get past the wood side due to an off centered core. Thanks so much for your thoughts!!!!
Great recommendations, Pamela! 😊 I repurposed a small makeup purse to hold all my vital oddments (poscas, erasers, white gel pen, etc). It goes with me wherever I take my colouring. I store a marker set in an empty honey container from the pantry. And I love the BTSKY cases!

I have a very good size one but I would put them in and take them out can’t make up my mind if I want to use them however I was going to try it again I find my loops alittle too tight
Im trying to find some kind of storage tote that has something like a cup that fits into the bin so i can organize my gel pens by color and then style ie neon, pastel, metallic, glitter etc.... so that way when im coloring for example i can just pull out my glitter pink gel pens and they are all contained in one container that i can take out of the bin and then put roght back away. Havent had any luck finding anything like that
Can you just purchase some that come in a case like the color it ones I showed with the tote? Mine are inside there all in order.
Thank you for saying that you have a separate place for supplies you are actively using in a project and also that you have more than one project at a time several of my bosses and professors kept telling my mom that each art supply needed to be only put with it’s like kind and that you must put way all the parts each time you clean up??????? 😅😢😢😢 I can almost never find the exact same color 🖍️twice
I couldn’t ever clean and put away everything every time because I’d never remember what I was using. I love having my little jars!

Hi I've just had a summer house built and am wondering if it's safe to put my pencils in there, it's unheated and I'm in the UK any help would be appreciated
I would have to assume they’d be fine. I don’t live in a hot and humid climate any longer. Although it is hot in the Summer here and my pencils are fine.
I recently saw a Temu add showing your favorite rose pattern with individual pencil slots. I'm always skeptical about giving my payment info to Asian based cheap Amazon type sellers, but if you could stock up on pencil cases at a reduced price, it could be helpful for you. Plus, if you shopped Temu for supplies, it might give you a different video content as Temu shopping videos are a trend right now.
Yea that are the “trend” at the moment. Everyone in my family has ordered from Temu. I, like you, don’t want to store my personal information in the Temu app. It is tempting though and I do have things sitting in my cart, but I’ve never checked out because after thinking about it…I’m skeptical. Also, I don’t like to purchase things just to get views on videos. I have so much already and don’t feel like I need to shop on Temu just to fit in with the algorithm and trending videos.

There was a sale on coloring books this past week but it's now over.
Im laughing at your comment that you have a ton of pens... oh sweetie no you dont.... im looking at just my coloring gel pens and it takes up a 3 tier acrylic pencil holder with 5 sections on each level, then those kids multi cup holder things from michaels that have 6 cups each? I have 2 of them full of gel pens plus a large handled holder thing with 5 sections that is full PLUS..... a shoebox sized clear stoeage bin......
And thats just my coloring gel pens, that mesh pencil organizer you have i jave a wooden one that holds all my Writing gel pens (just regular colors) the metallics and glitter writing gel pens are in an art bin 8 section organizer....
And i havent even said anything about my black multiliners, my markers my paint pens my crayolas my brush pens my alcohol markers my colored pencils my watercolor pencils etc etc.....
If anyone ever feels bad about their art stash or needs to get their significant other off their back about how much art stuff you have, just ask and ill send you pictures of my pen stash....... they will be thanking you for keeping your so small

Fairy Miracles my Klara Marcova. You can purchase her books on Etsy. They are very expensive and so is the shipping. She had them on Amazon for a short time and so I was able to get only one book at that time. She had some issues with shipping her books to Amazon and a shipment was lost I think. So, she stopped selling on Amazon. they are gorgeous books!
