I love that older ladies are the same all around the world. They always make sure you've had something to drink and something to eat, and if you tell them you're hungry or haven't eaten, they will immediately try to give you food! 😂
It's really nice to see that she gave you some juice I believe. Here in Brazil we have the costume to offer food and drinks (mostly coffee and water) when someone is doing a job inside our house. It was really pleasant to see that the old lady cared about your well being offering food and giving you some juice.
Can someone explain the plumbing set up of a drain on what appears to be a balcony? Is this just a service access point or regularly used, and for what purpose?
I used to live in an apt. complex and the first two floors had terrible plumbing problems the first couple years, the building administration kept wasting money paying for plumbers only for the pipes to be blocked a couple months later. Then we had some honest guys that did a professional work and explained that the slope was bad and pointed out where exactly we needed to repair the pipes. After they dug out the pipes and corrected the slope the issue was fixed.
Great job, gentlemen!! You let her know what the problem is, and how to keep it clean, so she doesn't have this problem again too quickly. Thank you for sharing with us!!!
I have seen you do multiple little tiny apartments. It seems like 1 apartment always has a strange plumbing set up. Also are there apartments for like eldery people?
Hmm, as far as i know, in korea, lots of family lives in a tiny apartment. Designed almost like a hotel. And probably cause of that, there is always some pipes that installed in kind of bad position, because there are like hundreds pipes being installed in one big building. Its not just for elderly, for a family i guess.
I;ve watched a few dozen of your videos and I can sum up most of the drain problems: #1. 90% of the problem is caused by Grease in the pipes; this can be easily resolved by installing grease traps in their kitchen sink. #2. baby wipes; just dont use em! #3. Bad pipe geometry causing poor water flow or stagnant water. I learned alot in your channel.... thanks!
Me. Well it plugged solid Hardware store. This is the strongest acid we carry. Me I'll take 3 gallons Fisherman. 5 miles away The fish are mutated weird
In Indian scenario, the client would be so damn friendly, serving tea and snacks that the guys wouldn't even realise that they came to fix the pipes but ended up moving heavy furniture or taking out stuff from higher shelves. 😜 Power of Ahjumma negotiation skills.
That's #1 ending. Number 2 is the client isn't as friendly but still good and the technician has “25 years of experience” but takes 10 hours and charges 1000000 rupees.
Everytime I watch, I'm wondering if my pipes have some sort of crazy U turns in it or a bad slope. But it's very satisfying to see you clear all the problems
That lady was very nice, I wish the ppl I help on the highways were that nice, I do not do it as a job, I randomly come across ppl with a flat it needing help and I help, and yes alot of strange people out there, but I've always been taught, you see someone in distress or in need of help, help them for no pay or thanks, tho a you were a help would be nice hahah
Got recommended to me by UA-cam and was so sweet of a watch, the kindness despite being on the job is so sweet and wholesome even offering some food when they heard the guy didn't ate yet.. Man here in western Europe they slam the door closed on your way out and nag and grump at you for the issue like you are responsible It's sweet to see a change of respect
Maybe in your area but not everywhere. Where i live 8 out of 10 will offer the worker a glass of water or cup of coffe/tea the moment he comes. It just depends how you grew up and how the parents raised you in my opinion.
What have I just watched? What a gem, editing, & sound make it, with topping of polite kindness, just what I needed here in rather miserable GB, I feel really quite hopeful😀 Thanks for time & effort putting this together!
This has to be the most wholesome channel of Manual Laborers I’ve seen! I wish there were more teams working this well together in the world, it would make it a much better place!
I wonder does the owner or any body else pour used oils for cooking and other oily soup inside the wastafel drain? Because my family will just pour the oil and other very oily soup into plastic bag and throw it to rubbish bin and never pour it to wastafel drain.
0:01 I love that they came in own shoes. Then in apartment(flat) they walk in socks, and finaly on the balcony they walk in HER slippers (sandals) :) haha :) greetings from Poland
I get the lady, the sink in my apartment backed up 3 times and was shooting crap up out the garbage disposal. The people sent to fix it all 3 times said it was done but within 2 months it always came back.
It seems everyone needs to learn to not put grease down the drain. I put my used grease into a container that I put in trash, and I put washing soap and water into pan and heat to clear any oil that is left in pan

Probably for drying laundry and rain splash
I cant beleive im watching blocked drain korea lol its really entertaining
So she was pouring grease down the drain? Instead of putting it in a container and throwing it in the trash ?
How much did it cost the unblocking and cleaning?

Quit pouring grease down your pipes, pour the grease into jars, and throw it away. Wipe grease from pots, and pans, and throw it in the trash.
How do people not know you're not supposed to put grease down the drain?
I'm a chemist and even I dont know or understand why. Why not?
@@AndyU96 if it's grease that solidifies at temperatures that could be seen in pipes... There's your answer...
@@AndyU96 Oil will coat the inner pipe and harden. If done repeatedly, layers of hardened oil will accumulate and it will eventually clog the pipe.

the unit probably had previous owners who poured grease down there. or the lady knew whats causing the clog because she did it but was ashamed to say
I remember every house having an old coffee can to dump grease in from cooking
