My brothers best friend Matt Delguyd (& family friend) was Herbert’s Drill partner at northwestern 1x all American Herbert was 4th st the Olympics in London Delguyd was their to watch he made 1 mistake or he would have medaled. Sanderson did lose 1x in college but as a redshirt freshman (so tech didn’t count Joe heskett who was a NC NE Ohio & western PA wrestling is a different level

As far as folk style goes, there are a lot of other wresters who dominate, because of their strength or their speed, but Cael is the only one that I’ve witnessed that looks like he’s a step ahead of his opponents. He’s making a shot, knowing what he wants to do if he gets the leg or doesn’t. It’s like he’s got all the positions possible memorized and immediately knows what the correct move is to take advantage.

Yes he was still wrestling. Many wanted him for 2012 olympics but he dedicated himself to PSU as a coach before an athlete.
