Yeah I’m pretty sure she outranks every member of the corps so that she doesn’t get mistreated, although I don’t think that would happen anyway. My sad was in the corps and he said that if she was in your bed you slept on the floor
@@darbysanders4117 Yeah I read that since she outranks every member of the corp, if you’re sitting on the couch or bed, or sleeping wherever and and she happens to come into your room and jumps up onto where you are, you have to move. So I would assume that means that she would lie on the couch and her handler would have to sit on the floor or somewhere else in the room?
Longhorn here, I think it's great and shows in a dynamic situation he knew the primary objective. Congrats on the position, Im sure he's doing great things since graduation. Hook 'EM!
Come to College Station and just walk around, you can feel the history, but get to The Dixie Chicken early, you'll love the food and likely eat standing up.
This is what should have when you're with the mascot on the field. He needs to head to Mississippi State and train the handlers how to protect your dog. Not running and pulling the dog even more likely the dog would be hit! Thank The Lord he was ok.
You don't know what the fuck you are talking about....That dog has been on the sidelines for years and years and this happened one fucking time. Get a life
I say kudos to the receiver, he did more than the handler, one hand and a little tap, and THAT was going to keep the receiver off the dog? no, he jumped away, but oh, hey, he was the other team that cannot be possible
I don't know what you were looking at but that cadet lowered his shoulder into the reciever which moved him off course. His hand gesture was more of a way to make sure the reciever was okay. Just give credit when it's due. 🙄
Great job, Reville is a treasure, I met her (not this one, as it was almost 20 years ago,) and her handler was just as dedicated.
that dog is a cadet general
my uncle was in the army for 15 years and i told him that dog outranks you he got pissed
I believe 3 diamonds is a cadet colonel. The corps commander has 4..beloved mascot has 5.❤

Miss Rev knew she was in good hands, didn’t even budge
She wasn't phased.
As a Ut fan, huge respect to this man I would do the same thing for Bevo
Awe! ❤ Thank you!!
Not an A&M fan but I may be now. Well done

6 people who want to see an animal possibly injured. Bet money longhorn fans. Classless
Nah, we let Bevo handle the SEC dogs. Just ask Uga. He still has nightmares from the Sugar Bowl.
Well they DO like to barbecue their own mascots.. Thanks for the invite to that season banquet in 1919 y'all, Bevo was delicious! 🍖🍽👍
@@awesomepossum3046 A&M won the Natty in 1917, 1919, 1927, & 1939
Lolol my family went to college all around Texas. We just learned to keep our mouths shut on thanksgiving days. Because nobody wins
Home of the 12th man babyyy

That Auburn player looked like he really felt bad afterward. Why he was so close to the field is beyond me.

Good for you young man for protecting our Reville you deserve a commendation for that goe Aggies👍
And through it all, Reveille lay there like nothing was going on!!
Salute to that dog
The player did a good job too. 👍
And got swerved by a corps of cadets member (non football player) to protect our dog..
Kristin McConnell yes he did. I was there. Whoop
Awesomeness!
he deserves some helmet stickers god dang
The football team could have used him in the early 1970s.
I don't get it. Wasn't that his primary job?
Sign him up
Good job gig #em

APP STATE! APP STATE APP STATE APP STATE APP STATE! 😂
Don't think the dog was in any real danger. I mean it's not like that player's going to ram head first into a brick wall.
Well, they were on the SMU campus with the dog. They could always leave the dog in college station.
Her name is Reveille and she outranks every cadet. She can go wherever she wants.
