Signe, I'd like to say that watching your videos has completely changed my approach to fashion. Since I started watching your chanel (about 2 ys ago), I've found my personal style, turned a "Ive got nothing to wear" warderobe full of crappy fast fashion into a quality capsule w., stopped impulse shopping and became much more environmentally conscious. Thank you so much! ❤️
I sew my clothing and I'm going to try this challenge with a twist. I'm going to try to buy second hand items that may otherwise end up in the landfill and "upcycle" them. I could reuse the fabric or make adjustments to the garment to fit me and my style. This way I'm not buying brand new fabric adding to that circle of consumption and disposal.
That's so cool! Maybe you can answer a question I have. Where could I offer items I want to get rid off to people who do upcycling? I try to use my clothes as long as they are usable, so I end up with things that just can't be donated or sold anymore. Or things like a beautiful fur collar of a jacket I no longer have... Thank you ♡
@@robinduggins2561 Thanks a lot for answering! We also have recycling containers for clothing in the neighbourhood, but the clothing recycling industry has kind of a bad reputation... that's why I was wondering where the people who upcycle get their materials 🙂
I bought 50 items of clothing in 2020. That's still a lot but in 2019 I bought 151! I'm really pleased that I stuck to my target of 50 and bought just a third of what I did the year before, even though it was often really hard. It was really important to me to work my way down to more sustainable - in every sense! - shopping to try and cure my addiction to it, rather than going completely cold turkey and risking a relapse. In 2021 I'm aiming to stick to 21 pieces!
Way to share!! I thought I was about 1 per month, but it was 3 per month! Would love to recommend the book Fashionopolis! Talks about the stats. The ecological impact :)
My feet grew when I was pregnant and they swelled. This was decades ago. My feet never went back. I gave away all my former shoes and stretched out shoes, & did buy new shoes after delivery and my feet weren’t swollen. My body never went back either, my hips widened, but not complaining. Just confirming body changes are real
Going for my first low-buy year in 2021 after losing 60 lbs and curating a new wardrobe (mostly 2ndhand)! I have a few wish list items and already bought one item, Converse sneakers on sale, and only 11.5 months to go. Your hair looks SO good; you look much more relaxed and natural! It's a great style for you!
Dear Signe, Since I started following your videos 2-3 years ago, you have completely changed my way of consuming fashion, from compulsive buy to totally-conscious buy & second hand / re-wear!!! It is a process, with its highs and lows, but I am so proud of myself and so grateful to you. Not only this, but you served me as inspiration for a zero-waste lifestyle, slow living, accepting your body as it is (the clothes should adapt your body and not the other way around), being transparent & imperfect and learning to live with it and embracing it, trying to do things better without judging yourself or other people for "not doing everything perfect", enjoying the little things, finding happiness in the very small things of routine and everyday life... So many thinks I learned from you: you have been like "an old and wise sister" to me. You have been and still are really an inspiration to me, I always reccomend you to other people, and I find that writing this message to you is the least I can do :) I really encourage you to go on, to grow, and to evolve with us, because this - at least from the outside- is the real beauty of your job. Congratulations. Sending lots of love and best regards, Alba
I’ve been doing a yearly count for a few years now, and posting about it on my blog. Last year I bought 20 pieces. Ironically, if we hadn’t been in lockdown that would have been a bit less. But I bought two new pairs of sweatpants and several tees that I would not have needed if I hadn’t been wearing them every day. Ha. I am not great on shopping second hand. And need to be better at finding more ethical brands. That’s my goal for this year. What I did do that I’m pleased with is to restyle and start wearing some old blazers that I’ve had for years. And altering one really old suit from 2001. Thanks so much for your inspiration and leadership in this area. ❤️
I wasn’t ready last year for a clothing low buy because I didn’t feel like I had enough basics, but I bought several items second hand and now feel ready for my own low buy this year. :) Thanks Signe! You’re an inspiration.
Love that you are honest about gifted items and so authentic that you would say no to some - so many online creators don’t! One idea for gifted items that don’t find a permanent home in your wardrobe is to do giveaways - they help raise awareness about your platform, the brand partner, and the concept of ethical fashion!
I committed myself to a capsule wardrobe of which I wear each item 30 times BEFORE I make any decision about keeping it or forwarding on to someone else or up-cycling it. A lot of times I move my basics to either my workout or lounging capsules to get even more wear out of the item(s). Great video Signe, as usual ❤️❤️❤️
I'm thankful for professionals like you in the fashion industry who actively participate in bringing diversity of thought to how we approach fashion. I love good fashion but I ALSO love low consumption and there needs to be space for both to exist, especially for content creators like yourself to earn a living promoting both. 💕
Last year I mostly bought fitness clothing. I seem to live In these (for lounging around and training). I didn’t feel any fashion FOMO- if anything I felt liberated from unnecessary things. Love your content and what you stand for.
Thank you for your videos, your inspirations, these are great inputs! It feels good to take care of what we have, more than spending time longing for just "more", wanting to stick to specific trends. Great to rediscover our own wardrobe and style! ☺️ I definitely love this peaceful feeling ❤️🌻👍
I started 2021 with a 2021 no-buy challenge and was completely derailed by my own pregnancy and changing body. I have tried not to beat myself up too much about it as well, but I love your idea of tracking all of your purchases for a year to really hold oneself accountable to what you bought, as well as breaking that list out into items that were purchased secondhand, or purchased to replace something. I think I might try this for the second half of 2021 and most certainly for 2022 as my baby will be born at the end of October.
You look so good in your fringe! I'm very inspired to track my purchases for 2021, I think for me that's what I'll do this year as I'm still in the process of building my wardrobe. First problem to tackle: What's my style? I did watch your video on this and it was very helpful - but I still find myself buying things I only use for a short amount of time then "my style changes". Maybe it's a quarter-life-crisis haha! Anyway, happy new year and thank you for this video :) x
Absolutely adore this video! I found your channel / Instagram at the start of lockdown in the UK (March 2020) and you inspired me to make steady changes. I was just wondering if you are still going to produce content like your previous ‘ways to wear red’ and ‘feminine capsule wardrobes’ ideas. I really loved them! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much for your support, it means a lot to me! 😍 I hope I can pick back up on those series this year too, if not then hopefully after my maternity leave! I do have some more style guides coming up for sure though 😍 xx
I’ve been on isolation since February 2020 (high risk) and the online fast-fashion shopping habit I developed to counter the boredom has been disastrous to my budget. I also feel like I have clothes bulging out all over the place. When the weather cools down in November, I’m going to do a thorough edit, but I think I will just store the excess items. I didn’t buy anything I don’t love or won’t wear, just too much of everything, so why get rid of it? It really helped me when you encouraged us to hang onto things; I felt so much pressure to get rid of things just because I wasn’t currently wearing them. Now, if I want something new, I can just shop “my store” and find something I haven’t worn for a while, or even once yet.
Love this. I’m going to track what I buy this year. The only thing I really need at the moment is underwear/a bra. I had my first child at 25 and my body snapped back right away. I had my 2nd child at 36 and it took longer. I’m 2 years post partum (as of yesterday!) and I’m finally feeling like my body is pretty close to what it used to be. So it can take time.. 🤍
That is such a great exercise to look at exactly what you bought in a year. I am sure most of us (me included) think that we buy less than we realise. I've definitely made big changes in the last three years or so but there is always room for improvement!
I had already decided to redo the low but/now buy challenge for 2021. The COVID pandemic skewed last year for me. I know there are things I bought last year that I thought at the “essential” at the time I bought them that probably and/or definitely were not. Hopefully this year will be easier on all of us. 🤞🤞🤞🤞
Thanks to you i realized that I really have plenty! Not only did I not buy almost any new clothes last year, but I also started using the clothes that were lying in my wardrobe for God knows how long, and got rid of a lot of unused clothes. I also got pregnant, but as it's my second pregnancy, I didn't have to buy any maternity clothes apart from some leggings. I total I bought only 4 items, which were a leather jacket, a pair of boots, a two-pack od maternity leggings and a pair of maternity tights. This year I have one goal - to minimise the amount of stuff I've got, starting with my wardrobe, hopefully I'll manage to organise my own capsule wardrobe by the end of the year.
Hi Signe. Last year I bought less than 10 things, because of remotely work and a bad mood. Now I am following your instagram and youtube and find ideas for basic wardrobe. Thank you!
Happy New year!! 2020 I did a NO NEW BUY and limited myself to a handful of thrifted items. 2021 will be LOW BUY and basically only replacements or missing pieces will be bought. In January I am doing a sweater challenge...I will wear every sweater in my wardrobe! so far so good!
At the beginning this year, i had hardly any loungewear, just pyjamas. This year I decided to buy key loungewear pieces since I now work from home and I’ve worn them for most of the year. Ended up selling heels I no longer wear and also blouses that I don’t have use for anymore,
I've started tracking my purchases this year, and even though we're just starting the new year I can already see such a difference! Both in my wallet and mentality. I've give myself a small monthly budget, whatever I don't use goes straight to savings. I've made a list on my phone of all planned purchases and this keeps me organised and gives me a chance to really reflect on each item I'm bringing in :)
Pregnancy for sure makes you purchase almost a new wardrobe! I found I bought most of my new pieces once entered my 3rd trimester... but I will say I was able to borrow quite a few things. I ended up giving away a lot of my pieces because it’s now been 4 years since I was pregnant and I have no idea what season I’ll be pregnant next... oh the joys of pregnancy! Haha!
Thank you for the transparency! Your reasoning seems pretty sound - life happens when you're busy making plans. There's no need to beat yourself up for needing to make adjustments along the way (after all, society requires us to wear clothes). Personally, 2020 ended up being an unexpected low buy year for me. I wasn't planning on buying mindlessly, but there were some gaps I was hoping to fill that I ultimately made do without out of laziness and the guilt of possibly making less ethical and sustainable choices than I would like (out of laziness). I bought five pieces of clothing (a band tee to support my favorite band, a long sleeved tee, a secondhand silk shirt, and a loungewear set) and one pair of shoes (to replace a pair that got destroyed the year before) plus basics like stockings and underwear (10 pieces in total). To be honest I do feel like my current capsule is way too sparse (17 items) to keep me interested/inspired all winter, so hopefully some minor course correcting will take place in the upcoming weeks.
This video made me look into my bank statement and get real with myself. I’ve made 36 purchases last year (didn’t think it would be that much). A lot of underwear replacements and some comfy clothes for home office. 90% is second hand, but reality is I can’t even recall half of those second hand purchases 😢
Body changes as well as style evolution are what get me. I gained just over 20 pounds over 2 years and had to buy new items for that. Then I lost the 20+ pounds but I no longer wanted to wear mid rise jeans, I liked high rise now. The influencers are good at what they do and I’ve bought things because of videos I watch.
Hi Signe, I look forward to hearing how your approach to dressing may change slightly once you have a toddler, with their dirty boots dangling against your clothes as you carry them on a family walk. I've found it's harder to take care of my clothes now, and it's tempting to reach for fast fashion as clothes are more likely to get destroyed. But my tips for new mums would be to invest in protective, washable, dark outer layers, buy secondhand when you can (as you already do), and put on your light cashmere jumpers once the little blighters are in bed, just as a treat for yourself.
I really loved the vide, about 2020 well if I’m completely honest 2020 was horrid for me, and I sought refuge in my love of fashion and clothing, it was like an escape. Quite literally the best part of my day and the only thing that was keeping my serotonin levels up.
I finally stopped beating myself up for my thickened middle-aged waist. I didn’t gain weight, it just seemed to thicken weekly on its own and I went from an hourglass shape to a rectangle over less than five years. My doctors all refused me the HRT, and now I’m glad they did. When I look at every other woman my age, it’s the same for all, whether they got the hormones or not. As soon as they got off them, their middles thickened, too. Society has such incredibly unrealistic expectations of what we women should look like. Those Victoria Secret Angels, which several men I dated stated was “what they were looking for”, are emaciated, then get breast implants, and even ribs removed, to achieve that shape, it’s crazy. I naturally had a body like that up until my 40s, being a slender hourglass with a larger bust, but even the sexiest shape won’t last forever. And honestly, it’s a relief not to have men always staring, it made me horribly self-conscious. The only bad thing about it is that it’s a lot harder to find clothes that fit my waist, at only five inches smaller than my bust and hips, not ten as before.
I bought about the same amount - which surprised me given I was locked in for most of the year! I had body changes (COVID kilos) and lifestyle changes as wasn’t in an office so needed more casual clothes like tshirts and sneakers (I rarely wore those types of clothes before). I also picked up some office wear bargains, which I plan to wear when I return to the office (pending kilos). The office wear was great value, and some of the stores I bought from were actually going out of business so I anticipated I wouldn’t be able to delay those purchases.
Signe, thank you very much for this video! I'm still struggling with curbing my shopping addiction and I always beat myself up for buying too much. But hearing your numbers (I'm a huge numbers person!) made me feel like I'm making progress over years and inspired me to keep going.
I actually wanted to start buying less and the year started very good. But after going to some rough times due to the lockdowns and me being a freelancer, i couldn't look at my closet and the way i dress. All of a sudden i want to just throu out my whole closed and change the way i look because i changed so much. So i bought way more than i should have at the end of the year. Its so hard not being tempted by all the adverts on social media. I love fashion and i want to invest in great pieces but changing my buying habbits is not easy. I want to buy localy, but there are almost no eco friendly lables or shops. I love the your videos and your thinking and it made me think about my habbits. So i hope i can slowly combine changing my style and habbits.
Thought it was a great prompt to count. I went low-buy in 2020 as well. Ended the year with 22 purchases/gifts. 12 were second-hand. 2 items were replacements. 2 were fast-ish fashion. The total was higher than I guesstimated, but I’m still pleased with 21 of the items. I think that’s a pretty solid year. I’m certain I removed more than 22 items from my wardrobe to a new home or trash due to condition so that’s also in consideration.
I've personally never had a problem with buying too much. Mostly because well... money isn't exactly a huge river here. But I am guilty of being tempted by offers and fast fashion. I always try to really think if I will love the piece and if I'll wear it to the day it crumbles or I don't fit in it. It's easy for me because I'm so indecisive but I have been looking more into 2nd hand/vintage, local brands and national ethical brands (because international shipping to my country it's a joke). I don't like that you can't try things on at online bazars but I can always alter/refashion things at home :) benefits of learning to sew from my mom. You have solidified my will to keep on this path and particularly about investing in quality pieces for essentials even when my style isn't as minimal. So thank you, Signe :) I'll definitely be using the hashtags and tracking all my consumption this year, not just clothes (I love skin care and art supplies too much 😅)
Thank you so much for valuable teachings about fashion and sustainability! Last year I shopped a lot of what I needed second hand online, but when I went through my wardrobe in december, I found that quite a few of my purchases were fails. Especially when it came to jumpers, I was not picky enough,so I ended up with jumpers that were to small, did not really fit, or they were not made of the materials I had hoped. I also bought two jackets, one parka and one down jacket, these were great buys, and I got a lot of use out of them. Anyway,I learned that sometimes if you are not sure what quality the second hand items you want to buy are made of, and you do not have the possibility to try them on,maybe it is better to buy a new item of good quality that you can try, and then return if it does not fit.
You are very transparent in your videos. Love your style. I myself started a no buy challenge this month and maybe Will extend It until the end of this year. I bought way too many clothes this year. After watching this i felt absolutly giulty... Lol from italy
I spent 2020 vacillating between cleaning out my closet, being satisfied with what I had and then buying more stuff 🙄 this year I've set myself just 5 new* (preferably 2nd hand) items and I have to sit on any decisions rather than making impulse purchases! I don't "need" anything though so 5 is super generous 😂
Hi signe I love your style x one question to ask though is why does buying second hand clothes matter? As surely they have already been produced. That said just for my wallet I'm following a low buy year. I was bought up wearing mainly second hand clothes. Then when having my children I couldn't afford new. But when they were all grown up suddenly I could afford new. I went mad for a while but now I'm into following a simpler life and don't feel the need to buy lots of clothes I watched some films about the fashion industry which are eye opening and appalling for both exploited workers and damage to our planet. So glad I found you and other young people who are re-educating us all into the effects of over consumption. X
I have not bought jeans new in 30 years, I like them broke in/used better. I buy most of my clothing used as much as possible but did injure my foot and now shoes do not fit and heels must be lower so my new pair of shoes was a kickstarter baubax? and a pair of sneakers. I think the swap is a great idea. There are FB pages on buy, sell, swap for flats and maybe purses. I have sold many things via ThredUP, FB pages and local buy shops but still feel I can get rid of more items. I have good shoe repair place but the basic seamstress I knew has retired. It was nice to find your channel and perhaps like minded persons. I was a less is more person until I got married to a person who enjoys shopping. I look forward to my return of less stuff but it is a process.
Hi Signe, Definitely 2020 was an eye opener for me in different areas of my life. But with shopping I am being more conscious and is still a work in progress. Love your videos 🤗
I loved this challenge. I only bought 2 sweatpants (‘cause lockdown coziness) and 2 t-shirts. This year I’ll keep donating things I don’t use anymore in order to build up my time capsule. It’s on!
I planned a low buy last year, but ended up with a no buy year due to COVID! So on board to do it again, I really think it is possible for me to do. Thanks for the inspiration!
Bought 1 second hand dress last year, and finally got a dress I've always wanted for the last 2 years which was really pricy but recycled material. Also made my own linen bathrobe - super easy. Finally bought high quality underwear for the first time since.... ever? So I'm really proud of myself :)
I bought 20 items including bags and shoes. For me that's ok number, because I get rid of some very old and distressed clothes. So it was more like an exchange of a wardrobe. I needed some basic tops and t-shirts.
Hmmm I already bust that challenge because I actually did some retail shopping and thrifting because I receive discounts or money off for my birthday. Congratulation, not sure if I sent this before, on this pregnancy. I do hope to get my thrifting (which is what I do most) under control this year. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the New Year.
Hi Signe! I am a big fan of your channel! I was wondering if you know if Organic Basics has any plans to be size inclusive? I am having a really hard time finding ethical brands that have an ethical size range that is inclusive. I would love to see more brands that value that!
I bought most things because of pandemic. I was off work for 4 months. I had no loungewear and only 2 pairs of jeans that l didn't want to destroy, so l bought some sweatpants. Also l had more time for walks, running and other excersise and needed more sportswear for that. All this lead to changes in my body- many pieces become too big. I'm petite, so even a small change is very noticeable. Oversize looks bad on me, so that's not an option. I purchased a few less items than you and many of them second hand, which l'm quite happy with- but still more than l expected. However, l really needed them, there was no impulse buying involved. Hopefully this year l will need much less. Good luck with the challenge!
Thank you Signe, I have definitely become more conscious of my purchases since following you. You are so inspiring, love your videos and will continue with #2020wehaveplenty...
I'm having a no buy year too. Except with some exceptions. My main goal is to use up all my yarn this year since I can't buy any more. That way everything finaly gets used and I still get some sweaters along the way.
Thank you so much for this truly and honest video. 2020 was a tough year and I guess anyone, even if he/she is "stable" and and convident with his/her wardrobe, might shackled a little bit and maybe bought more than necessary. This is what I did, even If I lived most of the time in sweatpants 😅 but I'm. Very happy with my purchases and looking forward to wear them all this year. For this year I want to get back on track again. So the only thing that could make me buy new stuff would be a pregnancy I guess ☺️ Greetings and love from Germany to Denmark💕
Hello dear, I wanted to ask a question. While trying to reduce the clothes I buy, bodies change significantly. If you change your size significantly how do you cope with wardrope changes?
For me the ideal world be learning how to make my own clothes that way I could have the kind of clothes I want in the natural materials..an to just make a few things
I bought 1 dress last year =) mostly cause my favorite dress ripped after it got stuck on a door handle.. But I do feel a need for a new pair of pants, an extra jogginspants and one dress. So if I find something I like that could fill that gap I would buy those. A pregnancy definitly calls for new clothes though, so 26 sounds super reasonable as well. I can only hope to fall pregnant myself one day Edit: oops I lied.. just realised I did buy more clothes last year.. I bought a maternaty yeans and bra, but sadly didn't get to wear them... they are just an unfriendly reminder now lying in the would be nursery..
Lovely to see your gorgeous face back on our screens. I think you are being hard on yourself as you was pregnant last year and I that renders many items unwearable. You are doing an amazing job!
I ended up buying 10 pieces in 2020, but this was due to a new job. Otherwise, I feel I wouldn't need any new item...so I expect to buy nothing this year (Y)
Would you recommend the Organic Basic bras for a 'larger' bust? I have a C cup and normally non-underwire bras don't give me enough support but after lockdown I am soooo done with wearing underwire bras so I need to find a good organic comfortable bra
I’m afraid I can’t really answer that as I have a smaller bust than you! I love their bras so so much but would recommend you to reach out to their customer service if you’re in doubt! 🥰 I’m sure they will help you out. xx
I think you should give yourself some credit. You were pregnant, your body changed and you needed some items to wear. I paused the video to think about what I bought in 2020 and even checked my banking app. The results: I mainly bought items to replace some that were completely worn out.
Love this video and your honesty! I also tracked my purchases in 2020 and was surprised that I bought 23 items, ninety percent of which was second hand. I did a no buy in 2018 for my blog (www.reduce our waste.com) and it was eye opening. Not once did I feel I was missing anything. I organized several clothing swaps with my girlfriends and that was a great way to refresh my wardrobe (plus it gave us an excuse to drink wine🍷). This year, I am planning to do a low buy of 12 items or 1 per month but not just clothes, everything other than food. I know that I already have everything I need. The problem is shopping, even secondhand shopping is addictive and relieves boredom and stress. I want to find other ways to relieve stress like meditation, reading and creating. By the way, you look great with your new haircut! And don’t worry about not fitting in your jeans yet. It can take more than 6 months. I found breast feeding helped the most to get me back into my clothes..plus it’s a lovely bonding time!
When I had children, it took me 6 months for my body to return to normal after the first one with no exercising or dieting, 1 1/2 years for the second one with lots of exercise, and I never got within 20 pounds for the third one no matter how much I dieted or exercised. My uncle, an OB/gyn, said most women can’t get back after the 3rd child. Just thought I’d share for those wondering if they should give away clothes or wait till they fit again.
Don't borrow clothes from companies because they'll most likely just throw them away after you send them back, especially now for ''hygienic reasons''. Better to take them and give them to family.
Saying “no” is self care ❤️❤️
Absolutely
Agree
Thank you ♡
@@suann9790 stores like H&M take donations and send the fabric for recycling.
@@robinduggins2561 Thanks a lot for answering! We also have recycling containers for clothing in the neighbourhood, but the clothing recycling industry has kind of a bad reputation... that's why I was wondering where the people who upcycle get their materials 🙂

I mostly bought sweats and pajamas in 2020 LOL. And I wore them a lot! 2020=PJs all day
Same! PJ life was the one silver lining of 2020.
Dear Signe,
Since I started following your videos 2-3 years ago, you have completely changed my way of consuming fashion, from compulsive buy to totally-conscious buy & second hand / re-wear!!!
Sending lots of love and best regards,

I’m so bored with shopping! I’m definitely into wearing what I have! I’m in!
I’ve been doing a yearly count for a few years now, and posting about it on my blog. Last year I bought 20 pieces. Ironically, if we hadn’t been in lockdown that would have been a bit less.
6 months ago i fully stopped buying clothes and I plan on sticking to this retail detox for at least 6 more months, if not even more!
Oeh yes! Love this video, thank you for your realness. And you're looking good with your new hair.
So thank you, Signe :) I'll definitely be using the hashtags and tracking all my consumption this year, not just clothes (I love skin care and art supplies too much 😅)
Could you link the video where you try on your entire wardrobe please...I can’t find it.
Thank you🤗
Thank you so much for valuable teachings about fashion and sustainability!
FINALLY! I love your approach and been waiting 💕
Just wanted to say this new hairstyle looks fabulous on you!
Hi signe
I love your style x one question to ask though is why does buying second hand clothes matter? As surely they have already been produced.
That said just for my wallet I'm following a low buy year. I was bought up wearing mainly second hand clothes. Then when having my children I couldn't afford new.
But when they were all grown up suddenly I could afford new. I went mad for a while but now I'm into following a simpler life and don't feel the need to buy lots of clothes I watched some films about the fashion industry which are eye opening and appalling for both exploited workers and damage to our planet. So glad I found you and other young people who are re-educating us all into the effects of over consumption. X
Nice video! Glad you are doing this conscious movement as your area needs someone like you to help out with the farming and consumption of mink.😇
Thank you for your honesty! My goal this year is investment in just a few high quality items and redoubling my commitment to my wardrobe. Hugs to you💕
You look amazing post pregnancy. And the glow is just something 🖤
Thank you for guiding me in this journey and making it fun!
I really L O V E your bangs. They are so flattering on you.
Soooo nice to have you back sweetie...Big Hugs
I bought no new clothes and zero makeup in 2020. I did however buy 3 new sets up scrubs and 3 work runners
If you bought the scrubs because you’re a healthcare worker, Thank You.
Love the hair 👸🏼
Thank you Signe, I have definitely become more conscious of my purchases since following you. You are so inspiring, love your videos and will continue with #2020wehaveplenty...
2021 we got this 💪 hope you and baby are doing well..? Sending you hugs from London 😘
I am doing a no-buy year for 2021. My main focus is not buying clothes, skincare, or makeup x
I'm having a no buy year too. Except with some exceptions. My main goal is to use up all my yarn this year since I can't buy any more. That way everything finaly gets used and I still get some sweaters along the way.
@@manonborst4769 that's a great idea. Goodluck with your no buy.
So the only thing that could make me buy new stuff would be a pregnancy I guess ☺️
Greetings and love from Germany to Denmark💕
Hello dear, I wanted to ask a question. While trying to reduce the clothes I buy, bodies change significantly. If you change your size significantly how do you cope with wardrope changes?
OMG your fringe is adorable!
you really look good in bangs!!!!
For me the ideal world be learning how to make my own clothes that way I could have the kind of clothes I want in the natural materials..an to just make a few things
So ready to learn even more!! #LoveThisCommunity
I can only hope to fall pregnant myself one day
Edit: oops I lied.. just realised I did buy more clothes last year.. I bought a maternaty yeans and bra, but sadly didn't get to wear them... they are just an unfriendly reminder now lying in the would be nursery..
Enjoy your videos. Will be trying your low buy goals.
Lovely video 😊!! ..and also you look really beautiful ❤️
Your hair looks so cute like that
You are beautiful. I love your honesty ❤️
„I was pregnant pretty much all of 2020.“ - That’s how I‘m feeling too...😆
The bangs make you look 10 years younger!!!! Look good on you...
I agree. So pretty
Love ur vids. When I am seeing this now it’s January 2022. ♥️♥️♥️
In haven’t bought anything since february last year
Would you recommend the Organic Basic bras for a 'larger' bust? I have a C cup and normally non-underwire bras don't give me enough support but after lockdown I am soooo done with wearing underwire bras so I need to find a good organic comfortable bra
I’m afraid I can’t really answer that as I have a smaller bust than you! I love their bras so so much but would recommend you to reach out to their customer service if you’re in doubt! 🥰 I’m sure they will help you out. xx
I think you should give yourself some credit. You were pregnant, your body changed and you needed some items to wear. I paused the video to think about what I bought in 2020 and even checked my banking app. The results: I mainly bought items to replace some that were completely worn out.
was that little brush a lint remover?? I've been searching for something like this!
It’s called a cashmere comb. It removes those little ‘bubbles’ that gathers on wool
I used to work at a dry cleaner, and we used wire pet brushes to get rid of balls on sweaters, comb out fake fur, and fluff up Sherpa.
Thumbs up for transparency! :)
Hello!
What second-hand online store do you recommend to buy from Spain? Thank you!!😊
ASOS Marketplace or Vestiaire Collective 😍
@@UseLess_dk thanks lovely! 😘
I missed you and your insight.
Signe, keep sharing, please! And thanks)
Love this video! Thank you.
How about #2021wehaveplentyhon ?
Wow...first? 😅 I love your content! I'm so happy you are back.
Don't borrow clothes from companies because they'll most likely just throw them away after you send them back, especially now for ''hygienic reasons''. Better to take them and give them to family.
♡♡ love her !
