My girlfriend and I in the beginning of our relationship use to lay in the dark and listen to the whole first album and it became a thing for us for months. Now we would listen to them every so often, but this song and Body Gold is still our go-to songs. These two have a place in my heart because they brought my girlfriend and I closer together than any previous relationship. She is my home and some may not understand, but it’s a feeling I’ve been searching for a long time, she gives that to me.

The story of how I came to listen to these amazing musicians... There was this music festival in Latvia this summer. It was the third day. We were tired and soaked after a long and rainy festival day. One of my friends said we should go and sit down by the only stage that had benches in front of it. So we did. Oh Wonder was scheduled next and we'd never even heard of it. So we sat as the venue slowly filled and eventually the concert began. I sat thinking "ah, she's pretty cute", but a couple of minutes in I was completely stunned. The same happened to my friends. I just sat there paralyzed for an hour, my hand spontaneously tapping the beat and I was loving every second of that concert. The first thing I did when I got home from the festival was find them on Spotify. I have been listening to their divine music non stop now. So glad I stumbled across them and as a bonus, live!

So I happen to find these two amazing people back in 2015 from a Battlefield 4 sniper compilation from a French gamer tagged Ente from the clan NoVa. He used this song and my oh my, did he just expand my musical tastes. It also happened to be that my crush that time was a fan of Oh Wonder, and we too bonded over the same music.
That's so good! It's always so magical to wander into a concert not knowing what to expect and then they're completely amazing. I also found them under unusual circumstances. I was the teacher's assistant for this one programming class at my University, and for the final project, my students had to make a prototype of an original game from scratch. They also had to pick a genre of games, a prompt, and a piece of music as inspiration so they can make more creative games. I looked through the students' inspiration, and a lot of them were like "I want to do a game about animals, so the song I picked was the soundtrack of a nature documentary," or "my inspiration is a song that's already from a video game because I want this to be easy." Generally not digging very deep. Then one student chose this song as inspiration. He made a cool, futuristic minimalist game, and I've been listening to Oh Wonder ever since.

This version is just as good as the studio version - which is rare. I love how both of them have a wonderful harmony which blends well with the music itself.
The 2*53 minute mark when his voice dips and comes in strong is like magic. Honestly the song is amazing without it but that part gives me happy chills. So pretty. They are amazing and this song is perfection.

Listening to y'alls story makes mine feel kinda lame, I was on the airplane (one of those long flight ones where there is a tiny tv attached to the seat in front of you) I searched up the name "solo" In hopes to find another song but then found them, so I decided to listen to it and my oh my was it good. I went throughout the next summer only listening to that song and refused to listen to any other. I listened to it for 3 months straight and I was still not fed up with it. And now a year later I am still in love with every single one of their songs.
