Good info, & concise. AAs can be tricky when they change the jump arc w/a dive kick, etc. And no DP for my main. Whiff punish sounds good, & the mental game. Agreed on watching replays. Never tried replay takeover, since I don't know what to do. I watch a lot of top players w/my main. Playing patient is important. And I have to be patient w/how little I can play. Thanks.

biggest issue I'm personally running into is that low rank had me using drive impact way too much, now i do it without thinking a lot and it gets punished since people are ready for it.
@@shakenbake7777 yup, we all go through this stage of learning when to DI, I personally use DI in the corner to reset the combo, try to react to your opponent using DI but just know it’s a way of stealing a turn
Diamond1 in SF6 is like gold in SFV. Master rank in SF6. Is like Platinum in SFV maybe even ultra gold. Because the only time I hit. Diamond in SFV as after Luke dropped.
All these things you listed are what is keeping me in Platinum at the moment. I hate it. I am trying hard. Sometimes I get shimmied. Other times I dont know what to do to get my turn back. It sucks trying to put this all together
@@slamugh I played against some people I went to EVO with. And then played against others in Casual matches there. They all saw the things I need to work on. Thing is, I am still working on them as of this message. I struggle trying to shimmy my opponents. And they seem to punish me a lot whenever they successfully shimmied me. I can't anti-air consistently either. I use the DS4 controller

At this point Lower level players has a better Drive impact reaction. Than Reacting to jump ins & and Dash ins.
Never DI because your opponent DI.
