Their opponents now have a SPAM button that they can mash repeatedly on both sides of the ball. The Cowboys are a one dimensional team on both sides of the ball. It's easier to defend against the pass when you don't have to worry about the run game. Sure, the Ravens nearly beat the Chiefs, but they can't be trusted with a 10+ point lead in the 4th Quarter. Over the last few years the majority of their losses have come from snatching defeat out of the mouth of victory. You can recover from consistently bad 1st or 2nd Quarters, not so in the final Quarter. Couple that with a 2-game deficit, questions on their O-line, and other little things, I believe that it will add up. The Detroit Lions will be threatened the most by whoever wins Sunday. I can't trust the Vikings defense until I see them against the Jordan Love led Packers (if Malik Willis starts, then I want to see the Vikings face an offense that can win a game with either running OR passing like the Lions). Flores has faced (admittedly great) young QBs who didn't have their bell cow RB available for the game. Jordan Love, after getting thrashed in the first meeting, seemed to have figured out Flores' defense in the second matchup. The passing game will be elevated with Jordan Love in the game. The Packers, against one of the better run defense teams in the Titans, still ran for over 180 yards. I don't think there's anything wrong with judging Darnold based exclusively off what he has done this season and putting previous years out of your mind entirely. Why I like the 3 guys on this show so much, besides their knowledge, is they’re passionate about football but you also know they are good sports and good people.
