The guys share why Green Bay's response following Jordan Love's injury against the Philadelphia Eagles has been inspiring and discuss the elevated Packers defense under Jeff Hafley. How pumped are the guys for Sam Darnold and the Minnesota Vikings traveling to Lambeau Field for a clash with the Packers in Week 4?

Coaching and confidence make a huge difference. Matt LaFleur and his coaching staff deserve a ton of credit. I'm truly blown away how well Malik Willis has been as the replacement for Jordan Love after all the experts and pundits of the national media just buried this kid since he started his NFL career. Makes you want to just ignore 99% of these talking-heads hot-take idiots on the national stage. Your show has more intelligence and thoughtful analysis than just about every national media wanker show on the air today where the only goal is to be more outrageous and stupid than the other shows while selling gambling and fantasy dreams. Thanks for another great segment.
Any time coaching involving QB play is mentioned, Tom Clements name should also be mentioned.
I was at the Packers-Titans game yesterday. Willis was IMPRESSIVE. There were plays Willis yesterday that ride above a “game manager”. He threw for a 1st down on 3rd and 20 and he scrambled for a 1st on 3rd and 9 against a well rounded Titans defense that knows Willis’ game better than anyone. Can’t wait to see what he can do in the future!
The most impressive part of Malik Willis is 83% completion rate over the 2 games. He had picked up big 3rd down conversions to keep drives alive.
Malik Willis is a prime example of right organization and coaching develops great players. Bad organizations can have All-Pro talent and it can completely go to waste due to terrible coaching. Matt LeFlour has surpassed Kyle Shanahan as the best offensive play caller in the NFL.
Gutey deserves a lot of credit for this team. This is the team that he has built, from the coaching staff to the personnel. I loved watching Halfley's defense, which compared to Joe Barry his philosophy is ,"Looks like meat is back on the menu, boys!"
Go Pack Go i love how much you love our team. We Welcome you into the lambeau fandom
This is why I watch these guys I really feel like if I was to sit down and talk to them Packers vs Vikings there would be some disagreements of course but we would understand each others side as well. Very open minded and I can appreciate that
Also everyone would share in Having some Spotted Cow!
I love the expression on Ziggy’s face. 😂
No matter how great that victory was for Green Bay, and no matter how great it felt to see Malik Willis perform that way, what the Vikings did to a team that many feel will be in the Super Bowl was incredible. Congrats on that big win and the resurgence of Sam Darnold. Should be a great game next week.Go Pack Go.
I remember watching the last game of the 2018 season, Green Bay vs the Jets, it was a slingfest between Darnold and Rodgers. Darnold has just run into a lot of weird obstacles along the way, it's great seeing him finally rounding into form.
Thru the first 3 weeks, this is how Packers/Vikings have looked. It has game of the week potential.
As a sidenote, I take it yall aren't coming to GB for the game?

I really want a Paul Farrington Show/Tom Grossi Packast live play by play on the Packers - Vikings game.
Please
Paul is my fav Vikings fan, and that’s saying a lot as a packers fan fan
So you're a fan of Packers fans?
@@josephboehmer1245 Im a packers fan and a packers fan fan. If jacobjohnson4576 is a packers fan fan, then im also a packers fan fan fan
Like I said last week: These last two games have tested the Packers in a way that I don't think they would have otherwise had an opportunity to if Love was healthy the entire time. Having to focus on a run-heavy offense while having such a loaded wideout and Tight End set wouldn't have made sense with Love under center, probably would've been less stressed than it was, and I have a feeling that it might have come down later against an elite secondary and bit the packers in the ass down the road. The fact that MLF and the offense were forced to get good with the run game right away has given them the opportunity to genuinely focus on how to improve and solidify said run game under actual game conditions and get immediate feedback on what works and what doesn't.
I'll admit; I'm excited for how next week's game is going to play out. If Love comes back, I hope that he can properly communicate with Willis on what worked for him and why, and make his best attempt at incorporating at least some of Willis' success into his own playstyle for the benefit of the team. It'd be interesting to see what GB could be capable of if those two diverse playbooks could be combined into one and have a truly difficult offense to play against, where both the run and pass options are well established and a threat on any given play.
With that being said, I have no astronomical expectations for this upcoming week. JLove is coming off of IR (potentially), and could have a bit of rust on him. Vikings seem to be on an utter tear right now, and as far as who's going to win this game is up for grabs. All I want to see is a genuine attempt made by both teams with obvious desire to win; and then, may the best team win.
Some of my favorite packer fans have been killing it with the content lately. ❤
Hahaha thank you, mostly
Lets use this opportunity to remind everyone that the Bears would have RUINED even Patrick Mahomes.
Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes. Illinois is the land of 0 quality QBs
@@Matteuslee FYI - Wisconsin has 15,000+ lakes. Caleb Williams - 38th starting QB since Favre took over in 1992.
Jimmy, you hit that one on the head. I was thinking the same thing.

Scottish Packers fan here, love the show! Grew up watching old video tapes of Fran Tarkenton, so I have a soft spot for the Vikings! 💚
Willis has played well above expectations. The coaching staff has earned every dollar of their paychecks these last two weeks. I feel the exact same about Darnold and that staff. Before week 1, I had zero worries about a w4 win for GB. Now with 3 weeks of tape? I think I'll develop an ulcer from worry.
Packers/Vikings game should be interesting at the very least…you guys have some great coaches and the front office is doing the work.
Great show! Love the 3 diverse personalities. I look forward to your vids above all other NFL shows. (Even though this one is clipped from your full show/vid from last night).
I was supposed to go to the game against the Vikes this next Sunday - have a broken knee though and will miss it. Going vs. the Texan's Oct. 20th. Sad to miss you guys. I live in Costa Rica, hard to get to games.
Most slept on football podcast. Y’all do great work! Keep it up.
I could not agree more when you said after Love was injured, I was afraid our season was lost. Willis has been such a huge positive surprise. He can play! I bet the Titans are wishing they would have kept him. The other thing you said I agree with is about Aaron Jones. After all he did for the Packers, I still can’t believe they let him go. Awesome player with a great attitude. I fear he will show up with more incentive than ever. It’s going to be a fun game to watch. Go Packers!
You don’t want a piece of that Haffley defense either 🔥. Haf doesn’t put a DE to cover WR1 😭
When They had Preston lined up to Cover DeVantee Adam’s! 😂
As a Packers fan I'm so freaking exicted for this Vikings game. Full respect to KOC and the DC for getting that ship upright and winning games
Viking packers week 4 bout to go craaaaazy.
And the Titans have the number one ranked defense going into yesterday and had not allowed a single 30 yard pass and Malik Willis put up three of them on them the big thing for me is the interceptions though run away from tying our full season last year lol
Ziggy somehow looks 16 and 60 at the same time.
Last year ,the packers carved up Flores defense in the 2nd game.
This is going to be won because of both defences. Darnold throws his first INT and I reckon there will be just a FG to split the two (which doesn’t fill me with confidence considering our kicker atm). Low scoring, probably a 17-14 game and I’m going with my Packers 💚💛
Tom Clements: The QB Whisperer
But let’s be real, the change from Joe Barry to Jeff Hafley and the off season FA acquisitions on defense make this a team that can win so many different ways.
The Packers also never said that about Aaron Jones 🤣🤣🤣🤣 he was always hurt and didn't wanna take a cut
When Aaron Jones has 4 injuries during this season you will see why we wanted Jacobs instead
I'm a big Pack fan but honestly scared of Minnesota next week😮
I was also shocked we didn’t win by more. It’s a bit concerning. I’m not used to Packers victory margins this small. There’s still plenty of time to ramp it up by the time they win the Superbowl
If Love comes back this game is going to be absolute cinema
The Vikings look good man. That defense looks unpredictable, but still give me the packers by a field goal at home.
Great progression for my Packers, sky is the limit if the Defense gets better than they already are.
Having good fans makes winning or losing better, nice that the Purple Monster fans are good people. I've always said that the Cowboys aren't a bad team, it's their fans that seem horrible and that brings our collective perception of the team down.
Hey Jesse Sloth or whatever your last name is... If you say you're a lifelong Packers fan but picking the Vikings to win, you're a fake Packers fan. With how the Packers are playing after 3 games, I bet most of us Packers fans are confident the Packers can go out and get the W (regardless of how any team is playing right now). Go Pack Go, ALWAYS! And Ziggy, more Packers fans aren't like that cuz' Packers fans (most) are loyal to their franchise. 🤷♂
Paul, you guys are a classy bunch. As a USC fan and a Packer fan it will be fun to watch Aaron Jones, a favorite, and USC alum Sam Darnold. This is going to be a good one. GPG!
Still rocking it Jack!
As a packer fan I got Vikings by 13 if Jordan plays I got Vikings by 3, think it’s going to take a a game or two for Jordan to heat up
Truth from a Pack fan for a second. with the 2-1 record the Minnesota game is more of a warmup for the December game. when the DUBs are a must
Ahh, I love a good ole fashion mea culpa.
Packer fan here also but the way the vikings are playing I think they win with or without love playing. Good luck in the playoffs you're well on your way
LaFleur definitely deserves a lot of praise and should absolutely be the front runner for coach of the year but put some respect on Tom Clements. No one has been listening to Rodgers when he's singing his praises on the McAfee show. Clements deserves a spot in the HoF for what he's done with Rodgers, Love, and now Willis.
I am rooting for a tie. I HOPE FOR THE BEST GAME OF THE YEAR!🎉
Packers 35, Vikings 17
I said GB would beat the Titans 27-13. They did it 30-14. 2 things:
1. The Vkings are NOT going to the superbowl.
2. Sunday, GB 27 MN 20
Josh Jacobs will outperform Aaron Jones. Vikings brought back to reality. Packers win 41 -13
Ziggy thumbnail = immediate watch
27-24 Packers
Packers 28 Vikings 21
Packers 70-0
That's right VIKINGS take our sloppy seconds, and expect change again and again
Anytime coaching involving QB play in GB is mentioned. Tom Clements name should be the first one mentioned. Guy is a HoF worthy coach, and my pick for best QB coach or QB whisperer of all time.
I'm a Packers fan, and the only NFC North team I will always dog on is the Bears. I have respect for the Vikings and Lions.
My prediction it's going to be a good game.
In 1994, Ron Wolf had Brett Favre, Mark Brunell, Ty Detmer, & Kurt Warner in the QB training camp. Favre had some very good quarterbacks behind him. I think GB has found their backup quarterback, but like the guys mentioned above I doubt Malik Willis stays in GB for very long. There are teams who would give him a shot at starting today after yesterday's performance. Who would you pick? Malik Willis or Caleb Williams (Bear's 38th starting quarterback since Favre took over in GB back in 1992).
Must be a lot easier to post these acknowledgment videos knowing the Vikings are playing like a top three team :-)
Us Packer fans just don’t really like the bears and lions but especially bears
That’s ok lol we were all probably more wrong on the Vikings this year. Sheeesh who saw this coming from them? Can’t wait to be at Lambeau Sunday for that game!
I’m happy Malik won two games, but let’s be real, we’re very fortunate in the two teams we had to play. There would be no chance of beating the Vikings with him at QB. I think he will get better with more practice and learning the playbook, but he left some pretty easy plays out there that will get punished against better opposition. Bad time to play the Vikings as Love will likely be rusty off his injury and they are flying.
Nfl should flex this game to Sunday night
Just goes to show how badly mediocre franchises like the Titans mismanage quarterback talent. Theres nothing stopping teams from having conservative but creative gameplans, like the ones Packers have deployed with Willis, that can help an inexperienced qb shine. But many offensive coaches around the league want to show everyone how smart they are with their cool passing concepts completely oblivious to the fact that its really hard to pass in this league and equally as hard to keep your qb healthy when youre hanging him out to try by passing 40+ times a game.
This game going to be great! Would love to see the pack mix in some wildcat and confuse Flores. Seems fitting since Flores constantly baffles us. Happy for the Vikes but hoping a rusty Love and hot D can squeak out a win!
Two things are guaranteed in life, "the purple spawn of Satan sucks" and "a Xavier McKinney interception a game'
💚💛💚💛💚💛GPG Packers 34 Minnesota 17
Fair play Ziggy 👏. Also as a Packers fan… I think you guys might just edge it next week, Vikings are hot and Sam Darnold hasn’t Sam Darnold :)
I would say it's not a bad thing to possibly try and keep him at least the rest of the season in case he is needed......2-0, 2-1overall
They need a lot of Love next week against the Vikes
This is Jordan’s home opener. It’ll be a fun game, but Jordan is itching to get his first win of the season. With the Vikings feeling overconfident being three and 0, Packers 28th Vikings 20
As a packers fan we have played very well against brian flores every time we played against them while he was in miami. He had better defensive players in Miami. Sorry nor sorry to say it Packers win .
with confidence so high on both sides and Aaron Jones looking for revenge, I will say Packers -3 for home field advantage is about right... whichever team wins the turnover battle will come out with a one-score win. My prediction is Packers win 27-21, but close all the way through. Jordan Love with 3 TD passes in his return.
No idea how Vikings Packers is gonna go, but it’s gonna be awesome
If Jordan is back, Packers get the win
If jordan starts they win a close one..jones will have a nice game..but in big games he trys to do much..i think he will have a crucial fumble..and the player to watch is wicks..he has been quiet so far..vikings will focus hard on reed which will free up a matt special play call or two..wicks going be the guy for that.
It depends on the QB. I think Love pulls out a win and Willis impresses in a loss. Wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong on either, though.
Vikings/Packers is going to be a hard fought defensive battle. It’s going to be close. 24-21 Packers.
GPG!
I miss Aaron Jones. When healthy, he hits the holes with a flash! I could see Aaron Jones being the difference in the upcoming game. I have a healthy respect for the Vikings. Lions, Vikings, & Packers will have some brutal games this season.
go pack go! packers win sunday 27-23
Aaron Jones, better to let go a year early than a year late. He was a stud
How many SB rings do the Vikings have? Go Pack Go! Thanks for the video. Be well, my friends.
This Game you're see gonna the Packers do what they been waiting for this season. Load the Box and hunt down QB, Packers have been just containing due 3 weeks of mobile QBs. I got packers 27-17 with 9 sacks and 2 ints for the defense
lol. 9 sacks? Minnesota o-line isn't *that* bad. But yeah, I don't think the Viking's 3-game run is an indicator of unstoppable force. They're good but not that good.
So when someone donates memberships how does one claim one?
Vikings always look good in September. Packers look better in December. It is a long season.
The Vikings defense is legit. Going to be a slug fest, and depends whose oline holds up better. Aaron Jones is going to be extra tough on his runs. Going to be a great division match up
Aaron Jones a walk off with a limp in a hurt hamstring, probably definitely carrying an L too
Vikings win this game but the Packers make it to the Super Bowl. Love needs at least 3-4 games to regain his form, then it's lights out Packers.
If Love comes back, PACKERS DESTROY THE VIKINGS
I give it to the Vikings since its Loves first game back but They will split for the season
Aaron jones is a better rb josh jacobs but in week 12 when you don't have jones its going to hurt when it really matters .
We see you sippin that spotted cow paul 👀
Tough call... I like the Packers at home but the QB situation complicates things. I hope we give Love another week to rest. We beat two bad teams so far I think. I will say Packers win 27-24. Both of these teams are contenders. I will have a hard time not pulling for AJ.
It'll be interesting to see what happens to Willis in the future. Well-paid quality backup in GB, or will some dumb GM make a stupid trade for him and net GB some serious draft capital (and Willis a huge contract)? Either option seems good for the Pack.
Calling it now Packers win 24-10 . Go pack go
Tom Clements to the HOF
Hard to win 4 in a row. Hard for me to believe Willis can do this again….. No prediction….
The guys are drinking Spotted Cow! Now you're officially cheeseheads LOL
Hafley has stated that he has barely installed the defensive playbook yet after the Titans game!
The Packers have had two games with QB#2 against terrible teams and the opener with QB#1 on a terrible field. That first game was an embarrassment for everyone involved except the refs who were certainly seeing the constant infractions. The other two had simplified game plans. We haven't seen the intended Packers team yet.
As for Aaron Jones, I am 99% sure fans and sports media care more about contracts than the players who understand the business. GB could have resigned Jones instead. But either choice has its strengths and weaknesses. Even if keeping Jones turns out better with hindsight, the decision was still a sound choice. No one bats 1.000.
