- TOMPS RapiSqueeze System in action. Taking an impression from fitted plaster cornice directly from the wall.
Unique new system from TOMPS that radically speeds up the Moulding process using just hot air and a new rigid casing system.
How to take a squeeze in situ by Nick Maguire
Reading the comments some people are so ungrateful for a guide! I can hear this guy talk even if the music is annoying. Next time you need to repair what your electrician ruined and whine about the cost…..try sorting it yourself with this very informative video!
Excellent! Just what I was looking for. Tfs!
Extremely helpful. Well explained and demonstrated. Many thanks.
Excellent 👍
Thanks very helpful
Looks great ....but music is too loud and sometimes difficult to hear him speaking.
Now thats Plastering.
Why so many processes, seems to be loads of chemicals.
Why's it not as easy as , paint on,a pva, release type liquid, then a plaster of sorts, then remove and make a copy of the mold?
Is there a easy way to fix numerous areas that are damaged? 6 " sections that electrician broke out?🤔😉
Because using a rigid mould impression with a plaster….good luck getting it off anything remotely enriched 😊
Very informative. Where can you get the materials from?
Sadly that firm that invented the system is not in business, thanks Covid! - however you could use any fast setting Rtv silicone and then make the backing with jute scrim and plaster instead.
@@nicksldcchannel9599is the jute scrim a woven fabric with large holes? Would you brush a thin layer of RTV on the coving to be moulded as the first step of your video then make a thick plaster mix with the scrim in?
Do you use scrim in the mix when you cast a moulding? Thanks for your time
Why so much trouble for the work that gets done on the table?
How do you make what’s on the wall appear on your table?
🤣🤣🤣🤣 anlamadinmi bazi eski modeller tavandadir ve ona zarar vermeden ayni modeli yapman lazim bu video tavanda Var olan desenin kalibini nasil alacagini anlatiyor
Turning it up so i van hear him but the loud music keeps winning 🤦♂️
How would they have done this 300 years ago
Plaster work was done by had by skilled craft to the room, there was no cut and paste, the Victorian were the first to introduce repeat moulds.
Porous wet plaster work put up in sections is exclusive, the majority of moulding aren't put up wet these days, only some insurance work or restoration would demand this. You would be pretty sure by the car they drive it ain't cheep. But still no where near the effort of the past.
Song is annoyingly loud
